We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Cleveland Indians vs. James Shields (CLE) James Shields on the road against a solid Cleveland Indians offense? Sign me up! It hurts me to say it, but James Shields just has just not looked great out there, so I'm going to stack against him. He is coming into this contest sporting an 8.2 K-BB%. His K percentage is under 20% and his walk percentage is all the way at 10%, which isn't a very good combination (looks at how bad he's been as of late, and that will show you part of the reason why he's been in this funk). The other problem James Shields has is the fact that opposing bats are hitting him hard. They own a 35.5% hard contact rate and 50.% medium contact rate, so they are getting to him and making the most of it. With his inabilities to punch guys out, with his control issues and with how hard they are hitting him this season -- is the reason why I will be stacking the Cleveland Indians (.317 wOBA T-10th in MLB and .171...

Daily Fantasy MLB Long Ball Targets for FanDuel and DraftKings- 6/17/16 Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of our top targets to go yard on this slate. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!   Long Ball Targets Paul Goldschmidt FD 4500 DK 5300 Opponent - PHI (Morgan) Park - @PHIFD - 13 DK - 10.1 Paul Goldschmidt is one of the best hitters in the game and going up against southpaw Adam Morgan makes him a very appealing pickup tonight. Let's just say that Goldy owns a .448 wOBA and .235 ISO against southpaws, since 2015. He has just devoured lefties and going up against one that struggles against right-handed bats, makes this pickup even more intriguing. Since 2015, right-handed bats own a .511 SLG and .355 wOBA against Morgan. They have roughed him up quite a bit and I see Goldy doing the same thing tonight. He won't be playing at Chase Field, but Citizens Bank Park is also friendly to hitters. Look for Goldy and his 42.8% hard contact rate against lefties to put one in the stands tonight! Michael Saunders FD 3600 DK 5000 Opponent - BAL (Wright) Park - @BALFD - 10.64 DK - 8.26 Michael Saunders isn't a guy you typically think of when you hear "Blue Jays," but this kid has been spectacular this season. He is coming into this contest sporting a .386 wOBA, 143 wRC+ and .214 ISO against right-handed pitchers. And guess what -- he will be going up against a not-so-good righty in Mike Wright. Mike Wright has only had three good starts this year and the rest -- well have just been awful. He is coming into...

Hope to see you there!   Long Ball Targets (All stats on the charts are since 2014) (Stats talked about in the write-up are this years stats) Starlin Castro FD 3200 DK 4400 Opponent - COL (Bettis) Park - @COLFD - 10.63 DK - 8.46 Starlin Castro isn't a guy you typically think of when you hear "home run" but there are a couple of things I like about the 26-year-old. 1. He is playing at Coors. We all know what happens and Coors and everyone has a chance to go yard -- so why not Castro? 2. His matchup against Chad Bettis. Bettis is one of those pitchers that has reverse splits. He's been solid against left-handed bats this season but has struggled big-time against right-handed bats. Let's just say righties own a .542 SLG and .382 wOBA. I know Castro doesn't have elite power, or beautiful splits against right-handed pitchers, but Bettis is awful vs. righties and a trip to Coors will allow Castro to showcase his power. (He's worth the $4,400 on DraftKings). Brandon Moss FD 3700 DK 4100 Opponent - HOU (McHugh) Park - @STLFD - 9.72 DK - 7.34 Brandon Moss has just been on fire! He has six dingers in his last ten contests, to go along with a .424 AVG. Not only has he been killing it, but he also draws a favorable matchup going up against right-handed pitcher Collin McHugh. McHugh has struggled against left-handed batters on the year. In 35 innings...

We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Pitching Targets Note: We discussed Madison Bumgarnerand David Price in the Main Article. And will be going over a few more options below. John Lackey FD 9900 DK 11300 Opponent - WSH (Gonzalez) Park - @WSHFD - 31.75 DK - 16.83 Madison Bumgarner seems to be the clear-cut top arm on tonight's slate, so I will go ahead and give you some tournament options. And the first guy on the list is John Lackey. At the age of 37, John Lackey is still putting in work! He is coming into tonight's contest sporting a 2.63 ERA that is backed up by a 2.98 FIP. He has also held opponents to a .197 AVG and owns a 27.1 K%! He is just pitching out of his mind. I guess some players really do get better with age. He will be pitching in spacious Nationals Park tonight, which should help the veteran out. I know pitching against Bryce Harper and Daniel Murphy will scare a lot of DFS'ers away from Lackey, [but] he has been phenomenal, and the Nationals are in the middle of the pack against right-handed pitchers. He will be low-owned today, so go ahead and plug him in some tournament lineups. Jhoulys Chacin FD 6000 DK 7000 Opponent - MIN (Santana) Park - @LAAFD - 29.18 DK - 15 I have decided to change things a bit here. I will name a few "cheap" or "value play" guys that I see delivering a quality start and will allow you to pay up for a Coors stack or any stack of your choice. (Tournaments only please)...

Yankees vs. Jorge De La Rosa (COL) The Yankees are going to be playing their next two contests at Coors, so go ahead and load up on some Yankees' bats for the next couple of days. I know they already play in a great hitters park out in Yankee Stadium, but the altitude and humidity at Colorado just makes the ball fly out of the bat, which will help these veterans out quite a bit. They will also be going up against southpaw Jorge De La Rosa. He is making his first start fresh out of the 15-day DL, so it could take some time for him to get the rust out of his arm. Before his stint to the DL, he had made nine starts and owned a 2.27 HR/9 rate and 5.64 FIP (ouch). The Yankees are actually one of the worse teams in the league against southpaws, but they will be playing at Coors and going up against De La Rosa, who struggled mightily before heading to the DL (he gave up over two homers per...
