Long Ball Targets Josh Donaldson FD 4500 DK 5600 Opponent - ARI (Corbin) Park - @TORFD - 15.19 DK - 11.59 Josh DONG-aldson will be going up against southpaw Patrick Corbin. When you look at the back of DONG-aldson baseball card (do kids still collect baseball cards) it says that he plays third base for the Blue Jays, eats southpaws for breakfast and hits dongs for a living. With his baseball card saying all of that, it only made sense for me to write about DONG-aldson in my "Long Ball" article. Since 2015, DONG-aldson owns a .296 ISO, .416 wOBA and 166 wRC+. Let's just say the back of his baseball card was not lying, and he really does devour left-handed pitchers for a living. And most importantly -- his last name has "dong" in it, so there is no way I am going to fade the former MVP. He's expensive, but trust me, he's worth the investment. P.S. Hitters have a 39.2% hard contact rate against Corbin, so look for DONG-aldson's dinger to be an absolute bomb! Yoenis Cespedes FD 4000 DK 4300 Opponent - KC (Kennedy) Park - @NYMFD - 10.64 DK - 8.24 I couldn't get creative with a name like "Yoenis Cespedes," but what I can say is that I love the spot he is in to give a souvenir to someone sitting in the outfield bleachers (yes -- by souvenir I mean long ball). He will be going up against...
Daily Fantasy Baseball News and Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings – 6/20/16
Daily Fantasy Baseball News and Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 6/20/16 Welcome to the daily MLB updates and news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it! Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock today. By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the batting lineup changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! START YOUR FREE TRIAL! What We Know Personnel Christian Yelich is getting a breather today against southpaw Jorge De La Rosa. Ichiro will hit leadoff and play left field. David Peralta will be heading to the 15-day DL, yet again. Sorates Brito has been called up. Dustin Pedroia is out of the lineup on Monday. Marco Hernandez will take his place at 2nd. Matt Duffy is out of the lineup on Monday. Denard Span is out of the lineup on Monday. Angel Pagan will hit leadoff. Top Tournament Stacks Mariners They Mariners be going up against right-hander Mike Pelfrey, who has just been awful this season. I'm going to start off by saying that he owns a 4.79 ERA that is backed up by a 5.37 SIERA. I honestly didn't think there could be regression for the right-hander, but apparently there is some heading his way (guess it's going to get even uglier for Pelfrey). He also owns a 1.70 WHIP and 1.6 K-BB%. It's been an ugly year for the 32-year-old, so stacking the Mariners is the way to go. Not only is the matchup a thing of beauty for Seattle bats, but they are also great offensively against right-handers. On the year, they own a 115 wRC+ (3rd in MLB), .338 wOBA (5th in MLB) and .183 ISO (8th in MLB). These guys have the ability to hit for power and score runs in bunches, so look for the to have a big night. Giants The Giants will be going up against southpaw Jeff Locke, which puts the Giants' struggling offense in a great position. From reading peoples comments on our articles, a lot more people are on the Giants than I anticipated. And people should be on them, they are in a great position to succeed and will be going up against Locke, who's periphials are not pretty. He is entering this contest sporting an ERA, FIP, xFIP and SIERA well over five. He also...

Long Ball Targets Giancarlo Stanton FD 3200 DK 4000 Opponent - COL (Bettis) Park - @MIAFD - 10.33 DK - 7.76 Giancarlo Stanton is slowly getting back to form. He has six hits in his last three and has only punched out twice. Those are some appealing numbers for the $300,000,000 man and it looks like he is slowing heading into the right direction. Although he's 6-for-12 in his last three, they have all been singles -- but that will change tonight! You know why that's going to change? It's because he's going to do some yard work! He's going to hit a mammoth of a home run and show everyone that he's back! He will be going up against southpaw Jorge De La Rosa, which means he has the platoon advantage. Since 2014, Stanton owns a .432 wOBA and .344 ISO against southpaws. This guy has tremendous power and look for him to showcase it tonight. Evan Longoria FD 3700 DK 5000 Opponent - CLE (Tomlin) Park - @CLEFD - 8.63 DK - 6.63 We just talked about a guy who has been struggling this season, but now let's talk about a guy who has been fire. And that person is Evan Longoria. He is coming into tonight's contest sporting a .366 wOBA , 135 wRC+ and .266 ISO. This guy is back after his struggles from last year and already has 17 dingers on the year. He will be going up against Josh...

Daily Fantasy MLB Pitcher Breakdown FanDuel and DraftKings- 6/20/16 Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of the other pitching targets on this slate. We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article but here we will look at other dudes to consider. Now’s your chance to get DFSR Pro with MLB Optimal Lineups, Projections and Player Cards. Or try a free trial of our base package with projections for every player. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Pitching Targets Note: We discussed Clayton Kershaw and Stephen Strasburg in the Main Article. And will be going over a few more options below. Madison Bumgarner FD 12000 DK 12800 Opponent - PIT (Locke) Park - @PITFD - 41.83 DK - 23.17 Alright let's be honest -- Kershaw and Strasburg going at it is going to be a fun one to watch and both guys should have big games, but who's going to get the W? With a 5 1/2 run-total runs are going to be hard to come by for either side, so if you're chasing a win; Kershaw or Strasburg isn't your guy. If you play on FanDuel and play tournaments, I would plugin Madison Bumgarner. This guy is one of the best pitchers in the game and draws a favorable matchup against Jeff Locke (much better chances to get the W). Jeff Locke's ERA is well over 5, and Bumgarner's ERA is a tad under 2. See the difference? The Giants should have no problem scoring today and Mad-Bum's upside is through the roof with a 28.1 K%. Go ahead and fade Kershaw and Strasburg with Bumgarner; he's also an elite pitcher. John Lackey FD 9600 DK 11800 Opponent - STL (Garcia) Park - @CHCFD - 35.37 DK - 18.46 The 37-year-old workhorse has just been pitching out of his mind. He is coming into this contest sporting a 2.98 FIP, 0.93 WHIP and 27.1 K%. He is putting up elite numbers as a Cubbie and should deliver a quality start against the Cardinals. If you're one of those people into narrative games,...

We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Seattle Mariners vs. Mike Pelfrey (DET) The Seattle Mariners are my top stack of the night. They will be going up against right-hander Mike Pelfrey, who has just been awful this season. I'm going to start off by saying that he owns a 4.79 ERA that is backed up by a 5.37 SIERA. I honestly didn't think there could be regression for the right-hander, but apparently there is some heading his way (guess it's going to get even uglier for Pelfrey).
