We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Pitching Targets Note: We discussed Jose Fernandez and Chris Sale in the Main Article. And will be going over a few more options below. Jon Lester FD 9900 DK 6900 Opponent - NYM (Matz) Park - @CHCFD - 38.58 DK - 25.45 Jose Fernandez and Chris Sale are the "chalk" plays of the day, but don't sleep on Jon Lester. I know he's had it rough in his last two outings allowing 13 runs, but look for him to turn things around. He's had the All-Star break to regroup, so look for him to start the second half with a [bang]. He owns a 1.08 WHIP, 24.4 K% and 3.01 ERA, so don't be fooled by his last two starts. He is still one of the best pitchers in today's game will be low-owned in today's contests, which is perfect for tournaments! Do your thing, Jon Lester! Plus, the Mets own a 24.3 K% against left-handed pitchers (2nd in MLB), so don't be surprised if he scores the most fantasy points tonight. Mike Fiers FD 9000 DK 9900 Opponent - OAK (Graveman) Park - @OAKFD - 31.78 DK - 21.04 Yeah this isn't a picture of Mike Fiers, but I like the spot he's in. He will be taking his talents to the Oakland Coliseum, which is one of the friendliest parks for pitchers. Not only does he have that in his favor, but he will be also going up against the Oakland Athletics, who struggle against right-handed pitchers. They own a .299 wOBA (28th in MLB) and .142 ISO (26th in MLB). The matchup is...

Daily Fantasy MLB Hitter Stacks FanDuel & DraftKings 7/18/16

A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Detroit Tigers vs.Ricky Nolasco (MIN) The Tigers will be going up against right-hander, Ricky Nolasco. He isn't a guy that gives up a ton of homers (1.27 HR/9), but does give up a ton of runs. He owns an ERA just over five to go along with a 4.34 xFIP. The other reason why I love the Tigers in the matchup is because Nolasco is a guy that pitches to contact. He owns an 18.4 K% and going up against a Tigers' ballclub that owns a .328 wOBA (9th in MLB) against right-handed pitchers won't help his cause. I know everyone will be attacking Coors, but this is definitely a nice pivot. Tampa Bay Rays vs. Tyler Anderson(COL) For some reason everyone is all over the Rockies, but I'm looking at the other direction. Let's go Rays! No I'm not a Rays' fan, but I love the spot they are in tonight. They will be leaving spacious Tropicana Field and taking their talents to Denver, Colorado. We all know the type of damage occurs when we have games at Coors, so...

We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Pitching Targets Jacob deGrom FD 10400 DK 10600 Opponent - PHI (Eflin) Park - @PHIFD - 35.2 DK - 23.07 A lot of great options on the bump today, but I love me some deGROM-inator today! He will be going up against the Phillies, who have struggled against right-handed pitchers this season. They are coming into this contest sporting a .302 wOBA (26th in MLB) and 84 wRC+ (27th in MLB) against them. This is a great matchup for any pitcher on the mound, especially for the one-and-only, deGROM-inator. He owns a 3.37 xFIP to go along with a 24.3 K%. And to make things even better, he has a beautiful price tag across the industry today. Rich Hill FD 9800 DK 11100 Opponent - TOR (Happ) Park - @OAKFD - 22.69 DK - 14.85 I might be a little crazy recommending Rich Hill against the Blue Jays, but man this guys upside is just through the roof. He owns a 28.9 K% to go along with a 1.09 WHIP. The 36-year-old has been fanning hitters left-and-right and going up against this Blue Jays' club that owns a K% over 21% will certainly help the veteran out. Yes the Blue Jays hit lefties well, but Hill is an excellent play for tournaments. And don't worry, he will be pitching at the spacious Oakland Coliseum, which is a huge plus. Jon Gray FD 8300 DK 10100 Opponent - ATL (Theran) Park - @ATLFD - 30.82 DK - 20.39 We all know the deal by now: The Braves don't hit for power or a very high average, but...

You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Milwaukee Brewers vs.Dan Straily (CIN) The Brewers put on quite a show last night at Cincinnati scoring 9 runs and I wouldn't be surprised if they did it again today! Not only will they be playing at one of the friendliest parks to hitters (Great American Ballpark), but they also draw up a beautiful matchup against right-hander, Dan Straily. Dan Straily is another guy in the Reds' rotation that has struggled this season. He is coming into this contest sporting a 4.35 ERA to go along with a 5.11 xFIP. His peripherals aren't good and what stood out to me the most was his walk percentage. He's walking over 10% of batters that go up against him, so look for the Brewers to have plenty of opportunities to score in this contest. Baltimore Orioles vs. Jake Odorizzi(TB) Let's be honest -- Odorizzi has not been that good this season. He's coming into this contest with 4.47 ERA that is backed up by a 4.37 xFIP. He's been getting hit hard (36.0% hard contact rate) and going up against an Orioles' squad...

Daily Fantasy MLB Long Ball Targets FanDuel & DraftKings 7/16/16 Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of our top targets to go yard on this slate. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!   Lefty Long Ball Target Carlos Gonzalez FD 3500 DK 4300 Opponent - ATL (Foltynewicz) Park - @ATLFD - 11.71 DK - 8.99 Who cares if this game isn't at Coors Field! Carlos Gonzalez has one of the prettiest swings in the game today and I'll be all over him. He will be going up against right-hander, Mike Foltynewicz. Don't know Mike? Let's just say lefties devour him every time he steps foot on that mound. They own a whooping .384 wOBA to go along with a .618 SLG this season. We all know the type of power Gonzalez has, so go ahead and roster him into your lineups tonight. You won't regret it! Righty Long Ball Target Ryan Braun FD 3700 DK 4800 Opponent - CIN (Young) Park - @CINFD - 11.1 DK - 8.91 My righty dong call of the day belongs to -- Ryan Braun. He will be going up against John Lamb today, which provides him with a beautiful matchup. On the year, righties own a .370 wOBA and have hit 10 homers against Lamb this season. They have done some damage against him, so what better person to roster on this Brewers' squad than, Mr.Braun. He owns a .243 ISO and .411 wOBA against southpaws this season, so watch out for the 32-year-old tonight. And playing at Great American (Small)Park will certainly help him out! So yeah, baseball season! And we've got some goodies you can take with you. At the end...
