A peek ahead at week 5 Looking for the week 5 picks? Follow the link! I go position by position and give you whom I believe to be the best plays, dollar for dollar, for Week 5's games. This article is going to be a little bit different. Instead, I'm going to focus on particular lineup formation strategies that might help you get some separation from the field and get those value plays and sleepers that will let you spend money elsewhere while cashing in for cheap.   Sleepers Weekly disclaimer: The whole concept of a sleeper in one week fantasy football games needs to be adjusted. First of all, there's no real such thing as a "sleeper," in that you're not really going to sleep on a guy until he wakes up. What you're looking at with cheap plays are guys who are priced very reasonably who could go off if all things break right. Sniffing out the best cheap plays with upside is really the only way to have a chance in hell at taking down some of these utterly massive NFL tournaments. You'll pay up for the big names, and then hope your bargain plays pay off. That's where we come in - here are some sleepers that we love for Week 5. Andrew Hawkins - FD 5300 DK 3500 DD 9950 DFSTR 4400 Rueben Randle - FD 5400 DK 3900 DD 8950 DFSTR 4100 We highlighted these guys in our week 5 picks article, but I just don't want you to miss them here. Both are bargain price guys getting the amount of looks that you'd expect from a WR2. I like Randle better than Hawkins for GPPs due to red zone usage, but am more confident in Hawkins' role in the offense. For more in depth write-ups, check out that article. Khiry Robinson - FD 4900 DK 3000...

DFSR has partnered with ScoreStreak: a new, innovative style of DFS play. Gone is the salary finagling, mixing and matching, and hair-pulling that goes into setting lineups. ScoreStreak simplifies the process in an easy-to-use interface. Employing a prop-pick style, ScoresStreak leagues are specific outcome dependent with three categories: Total Bases, Hits, and for pitchers, Strikeouts. Check out their new promotion coming for NFL season where you can win a new Tesla! Also, new users who deposit through DFSR will get an extra $10 to play with.  And if you are new to daily fantasy football, make sure read our Free Football e-book. Now go win that Tesla!   QB Touchdowns Peyton Manning A very interesting week to pick touchdowns. I'm finally admitting defeat when it comes to trying to get a 4 TD game out of Drew Brees, so I'm sliding one Peyton Manning Sr. into this spot. Here's the case: Genius Manning has had 2 weeks to prepare for a Cardinals team that is about league average against the pass and dominant against the run. With Montee Ball struggling, I think this is the week Peyton and company come out with a vintage 40 point performance where Demaryius Thomas is flexing his biceps while Peyton points to him determinedly. Drew Brees I just can't quit you, Drew. I swear, this is the very last time I'm listing Brees in a touchdown article if he doesn't come through for at least 3 against the Bucs. I actually typed in 4 other names before saying to myself, "Can I really recommend this guy over Drew Brees?" The answer, friend, is no. Brees heads back to the Super Dome to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who even in a win gave up a billion fantasy points to Ben Roethlisberger's significantly less potent passing attack. If it doesn't happen this week I'll finally concede. But man, it really looks like it's going to happen this week.   All purpose yards Whew, here's a category we crushed last week, handing you Matt Forte and Demarco Murray. Let's take a look at this week's selections: Le'Veon Bell Bell has put up more than 100 all purpose yards every game this season, and that's including teams who actually field 11 players on defense. In week 5 he'll face the Jaguars, who have allowed the most passing yards and...

We're out of bye-week hell, and back into essentially a full slate of games (have fun with your week off, irrelevant Dolphins and Raiders!). Week 4 was fantastic, with only some of our sleepers no-showing, and some big performances from big names. But why live in the past? Let's get to the picks! By the way - we're prepared to send you a free eBook on how the pros set both daily fantasy baseball AND football lineups, free of charge! Check out the details, and get your copies now! Ready to make the leap and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks? It's the simplest daily fantasy football game in the world, and it might be your best bet to cash in without trying to do a ton of research.   Quarterbacks Ben Roethlisberger - FD 8300 DK 7400 DD 12850 DFSTR 7000 Big Ben will be a popular play this week, and for good reason. After putting up 314 yards against Tampa Bay's 3rd worst passing defense, he'll get the crown prince of terrible passing defenses in week 5 against Jacksonville. The Jaguars' 321 passing yards allowed per game is the league's worst, and their terrible performance against the pass last year suggests that this year's horrendousness (special term coined for the Jags) is no fluke. What I really love about Ben in terms of his upside is his Red Zone usage. This will be a theme for this week, by the way, so get used to it. Roethlisberger has had the ball in...

While Brees, Graham, and McCoy were a dumpster, we thankfully nailed pretty much everything else and were able to escape with a decent week, all thing considered. The great thing about daily fantasy football is living to fight another day! So here we are - on to week 4! By the way - we're prepared to send you a free eBook on how the pros set both daily fantasy baseball AND football lineups, free of charge! Check out the details, and get your copies now! I forget what I was talking about. Oh! Drew Brees! Love the guy! Love him. To be honest, darling reader, I know you're feeling thrice bitten and four times shy on Brees at this point, but hear me out. New Orleans is currently sitting at a 24.8% offensive DVOA versus a 15.9% DVOA from 2013. Layman's terms - they're doing just fine on offense. For whatever reason, this isn't converting to huge fantasy games, but I believe that this will be the day! Dallas was horrendous against...

Want picks for FanDuel, Draftster, and Draftday as well? Check em out. Hit it Bryce:   Before we get started, here are three keys to success on DraftKings and daily leagues in general: KNOW YOUR VALUE You will consistently see me refer back to the term "value". Determining the value of a player only takes some basic mathematics (some fourth and fifth grade level stuff here, people!) In Draftkings, I always shoot for 3 points per $1,000 spent or in other words if a player costs $6,000 then I need him to get 18 points in order to reach his value. If all players I select reach value then each of my lineups should average 150 points which will guarantee victory in every single double up league and almost guarantee a minimum cash in any GPP multi-entry league. Disclaimer: 3 points per $1,000 is a HIGH value mark. In reality, if you can get 2.5 points per $1,000 then you should safely profit from week to week, but we're not looking for safe profit...we want MASSIVE GAINS! YOUR BEST WEAPON IS YOUR OWN TWO EYES The best way to know how a player is performing from week to week is by watching the game! I know, thank you captain obvious; but if you plan on putting up more than a couple bucks, I highly suggest watching as much live game action as you can. There are hundreds of sites that post positional rankings based on statistics of previous games and this is fine for your start 'em or sit 'em questions in your yearly "family" league. However, often times stats can be very misleading. Stats...
