Now go win that Tesla!   QB Touchdowns Peyton Manning A very interesting week to pick touchdowns. I'm finally admitting defeat when it comes to trying to get a 4 TD game out of Drew Brees, so I'm sliding one Peyton Manning Sr. into this spot. Here's the case: Genius Manning has had 2 weeks to prepare for a Cardinals team that is about league average against the pass and dominant against the run. With Montee Ball struggling, I think this is the week Peyton and company come out with a vintage 40 point performance where Demaryius Thomas is flexing his biceps while Peyton points to him determinedly. Drew Brees I just can't quit you, Drew. I swear, this is the very last time I'm listing Brees in a touchdown article if he doesn't come through for at least 3 against the Bucs. I actually typed in 4 other names before saying to myself, "Can I really recommend this guy over Drew Brees?" The answer, friend, is no. Brees heads back to the Super Dome to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who even in a win gave up a billion fantasy points to Ben Roethlisberger's significantly less potent passing attack. If it doesn't happen this week I'll finally concede. But man, it really looks like it's going to happen this week.   All purpose yards Whew, here's a category we crushed last week, handing you Matt Forte and Demarco Murray. Let's take a look at this week's selections: Le'Veon Bell Bell has put up more than 100 all purpose yards every game this season, and that's including teams who actually field 11 players on defense. In week 5 he'll face the Jaguars, who have allowed the most passing yards and...

It's the simplest daily fantasy football game in the world, and it might be your best bet to cash in without trying to do a ton of research.   Quarterbacks Ben Roethlisberger - FD 8300 DK 7400 DD 12850 DFSTR 7000 Big Ben will be a popular play this week, and for good reason. After putting up 314 yards against Tampa Bay's 3rd worst passing defense, he'll get the crown prince of terrible passing defenses in week 5 against Jacksonville. The Jaguars' 321 passing yards allowed per game is the league's worst, and their terrible performance against the pass last year suggests that this year's horrendousness (special term coined for the Jags) is no fluke. What I really love about Ben in terms of his upside is his Red Zone usage. This will be a theme for this week, by the way, so get used to it. Roethlisberger has had the ball in...

Daily Fantasy Football Picks Week 4 – ScoreStreak

Now go win that Tesla!   QB Touchdowns Drew Brees Hey guys! It's me, James again. You know, the guy who has recommended Brees in the top QB slot every single week so far this season. The good news has been that not many people have had 4 TDs in a game this year, and you haven't gotten burnt too badly. Right? RIGHT? Okay, I'm apologizing on Brees' behalf. But still! The match-up this week is as good as ever. Dallas was horrid against the pass last year, and may have gotten worse. HOLD, Brees owners.. HOLD! Matt Ryan I am a fan of one Matthew Ice Ryan this week against the Minnesota Vikings, for much the same reason I liked Brees last week. While Brees didn't deliver, Ryan has actually looked awesome this year, and the Falcons have shown no modesty around going for the jugular when up a ton. I think Matt Ryan puts up a great touch down number this week.   All purpose yards Matt Forte You can't feel great about Forte's ineffectiveness in the running game, but his 7 receptions per game leave him as likely a candidate as anyone to put up a huge all purpose yard game on any given day. On a day where a lot of studs are sitting, Forte makes a very interesting play. Demarco Murray Murray has been touching the ball an unreal 27 times per game this year, and the Saints haven't exactly been the 85 Bears when it comes to defending the run. The Cowboys seemed determined to get Murray his run, which is really all you can realistically hope for in a play like this: the opportunity.   Receptions Jimmy Graham The clock is ticking on Graham and Brees as the premier...

Sleepers for Daily Fantasy Football Week 4 – FanDuel, Draftkings, Draftster

And now - for the next month - you can get access to our Football projection tools AND our baseball projection tools for the same price! Sick deal. A peek ahead at week 4 If you want our full slate of picks for week 4, click here. I go position by position and give you whom I believe to be the best plays, dollar for dollar, for Week 4's games. This article is going to be a little bit different. Instead, I'm going to focus on particular lineup formation strategies that might help you get some separation from the field and get those value plays and sleepers that will let you spend money elsewhere while cashing in for cheap.   Sleepers Weekly disclaimer: The whole concept of a sleeper in one week fantasy football games needs to be adjusted. First of all, there's no real such thing as a "sleeper," in that you're not really going to sleep on a guy until he wakes up. What you're looking at with cheap plays are guys who are priced very reasonably who could go off if all things break right. Sniffing out the best cheap plays with upside is really the only way to have a chance in hell at taking down some of these utterly massive NFL tournaments. You'll pay up for the big names, and then hope your bargain plays pay off. That's where we come in - here are some sleepers that we love for Week 4. Teddy Bridgewater - FD 5900 DK 5700 DD 9600 DFSTR 3500 With Cassel on the IR, Bridgewater takes over an uninspiring and mostly lost Vikings offense. Pretty exciting, huh? Well, here's the thing. We don't know for sure if the Vikings have sucked because they have Matt Cassel, or whether or not they had Matt Cassel. Bridgewater would be a huge gamble, but it isn't like the Falcons are the greatest defensive team of all time. With a week of snaps with the 1st team, Bridgewater's ability to tuck the ball and run...

Daily Fantasy Football Week 4 Picks – DraftKings (Thursday Edition)

Want picks for FanDuel, Draftster, and Draftday as well? Check em out. Hit it Bryce Is it really week four of the 2014 NFL season already??? Let us all take a second to smile and realize how awesome it is to be an American and have the privilege to watch this 21st century version of Gladiator every week from September to January. The pain these guys endure and the risk they take the moment they step on the field is truly under appreciated. See Lawrence Timmons’ hit on his own teammate, Ike Taylor. Let us also recognize that the large majority of NFL players and management are NOT Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, Greg Hardy, Roger Goodell, etc. Even with the negative publicity the fact remains that this game is the most entertaining sport in the world. My British girlfriend will roll her eyes once she reads this as she would still rather watch a 1-0 Everton vs. Manchester City game, but I digress. I plan on providing two articles a week for the remainder of the NFL season, a Wednesday edition that will feature my early week plays based upon match ups and price. I will also post a Saturday edition that will cover my cheaper, value picks which always come to fruition later in the week. Let us quickly touch on last week picks.   Week 3 Recap At the QB position, I, and the rest of the world, told you to start Drew Brees and he burned us all...sorta. He threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns, good for 2.19 value in DraftKings terms (Reminder: “value” is a metric discussed last week where,...
