Needless to say, I'm glad I did. He delivered his best game of the season by a mile, breaking the 300 yard barrier and throwing touchdowns to three different receivers. Coming into the Monday Night game the Rams were among the league's best at preventing the forward pass, but Colin and his band of merry receivers made them look like a Pop Warner squad. So what changes for week 7? Well, Kaepernick will...

Want picks for FanDuel, Draftster, and Draftday as well? Check em out. “44 ladies that’s me!! WOOOOOOOO Gonna’ get some cold cuts today!” (Geico Commercial gets me every time). I can only imagine the celebration Ickey Woods would be doing if he were in our position. 24 hours from the second installment of the DraftKings Millionaire Maker. I can hardly contain myself! I will admit, when watching the games on Sunday, my go-to celebration dance is not the Ickey Woods shuffle, but the Victor Cruz salsa (this goes way back to my first year of playing daily fantasy, Ramsey you know what’s up). I promised myself I wouldn’t write a giant introduction discussing strategies or the current events of the daily fantasy world and for once, I am going to keep that promise. Without further ado, here are my DraftKings week 6 daily fantasy picks (P.S. I already wrote my Thursday strategy piece and it’s a good one; so if you like my ramblings then make sure to check it out next week).   Week 6 Picks: Redemption – Take Two of the Millionaire Maker   Quarterbacks Matt Ryan $DK 8,600 I refuse to give Peyton Manning DK $9,400 his own paragraph…so I’ll just write about him under Matt Ryan’s header. Manning is the most expensive QB (again) by $400 and rightfully so. A Great matchup and essentially no running game to take away from his stat line. If you can fit his enormous salary in your lineup then I’m not going to fault you. With that said, I think Matt Ryan has an an equally good situation and is $800 less than Peyton. In Ryan’s home games this year, he is averaging 367 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Guess where this week’s game is? Matty Ice takes on a middle of the road defense in the Chicago Bears where the Falcons are 3 point favorites with an over/under of 55! Vegas expects the Falcons to put up 29 points and...

Sleepers – Daily Fantasy Football Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings, DraftDay and Draftster for Week 6

A peek ahead at week 6 Looking for the week 6 picks? Follow the link! I go position by position and give you whom I believe to be the best plays, dollar for dollar, for Week 6's games. This article is going to be a little bit different. Instead, I'm going to focus on particular lineup formation strategies that might help you get some separation from the field and get those value plays and sleepers that will let you spend money elsewhere while cashing in for cheap.   Sleepers Weekly disclaimer: The whole concept of a sleeper in one week fantasy football games needs to be adjusted. First of all, there's no real such thing as a "sleeper," in that you're not really going to sleep on a guy until he wakes up. What you're looking at with cheap plays are guys who are priced very reasonably who could go off if all things break right. Sniffing out the best cheap plays with upside is really the only way to have a chance in hell at taking down some of these utterly massive NFL tournaments. You'll pay up for the big names, and then hope your bargain plays pay off. That's where we come in - here are some sleepers that we love for Week 6. Andre Williams - FD 6300 DK 5400 DD 7950 DFSTR 6200 We recommended him in the main picks article for week 6, but Andre Williams is filling in for Rashad Jennings, and predictably, the various sites don't seem to understand that a system creates a back more than a back ignites a system. Don't be discouraged by Williams' poor yards per carry - the G-men have used him frequently in short yardage situations this year - and that should turn around sooner rather than later if he's the running downs back until Jennings' return. The thing you...

Now go win that Tesla!   QB Touchdowns Peyton Manning If you checked in with our week 5 scorestreak picks, you read this about Peyton Manning: A very interesting week to pick touchdowns. I'm finally admitting defeat when it comes to trying to get a 4 TD game out of Drew Brees, so I'm sliding one Peyton Manning Sr. into this spot. Here's the case: Genius Manning has had 2 weeks to prepare for a Cardinals team that is about league average against the pass and dominant against the run. With Montee Ball struggling, I think this is the week Peyton and company come out with a vintage 40 point performance where Demaryius Thomas is flexing his biceps while Peyton points to him determinedly. Is it nice to be able to read articles written by someone who can predict the future? What's that you say? I've screwed up like all of my other QB touchdown picks? Well, leave me alone. Where was I? Right. Touchdowns. Basically nothing has changed for Manning this week. Montee Ball got injured, presumably making the Denver rushing game less enticing, and the Jets are put together much in the same way the Cardinals are defensively. Back to back huge games from Manning here - count on it. Jay Cutler The second QB slot was a lot trickier, for me. I turn to Cutler because he's up against the porous Atlanta defense, but there's actually more to it than that. The Bears have thrown the ball in the red zone a staggering 75% of the time they've been down there this season, and Forte's usage in the passing game seems to be essentially replacing the Chicago run game. With 2 great...

Daily Fantasy Football Picks for Week 6 – Draftster

Daily Fantasy Football Picks for Week 6 - Draftster Welcome, Draftster fans! If you haven't heard of Draftster yet, you're in luck. They're a forward thinking player in this space, and we think they're destined to make some huge waves. They also have a couple thousand bucks in freerolls every week, and they're still small enough that you can get in on the ground floor. And now - for the next month - you can get access to our Football projection tools AND our baseball projection tools for the same price! Sick deal. We have our general picks for Week 6. This piece will examine some Draftster-specific value as this site tends to quickly adjust prices quickly and severely. This is great news for you as identifying players who are priced as punts is a money-making venture for you. Here we go. Quarterbacks Matthew Stafford - $6400 Stafford is the 14th most expensive quarterback on Draftster. Even without Megatron this is probably a mistake. Last week against an above average Buffalo D (slightly below average against the pass) Stafford managed 230 and a touch which isn't great of course, but the case for Stafford, as with many of the guys in this piece isn't so much the superlatives, but rather the price. Essentially you are getting a QB who will put the ball in the air 30+ times over the course of the game. Grabbing him in the lower third of the salary pool will allow you to essentially overpay at some of the other skill positions. Joe Flacco - $6100 Sitting behind Stafford in the price scheme is Flacco who faces a Bucs team getting shredded through the air. The Bucs appear disinterested in defending tightly thrown spirals, or receivers, or really anything associated with the opposing team's passing attack. Flacco needs to do very little to pay this price off, and I don't think it pays to spend big on quarterback this week. Not with competent starters sitting so low on the salary chart.   Running Backs LeVeon Bell - $8300 Matt Forte- $9000 Though I'm typically loathe to simply give the chalk plays and qualify them as "analysis", in this case both of these guys represent value on Draftster this week. Essentially, by employing some of the other cheaper players mentioned in...
