Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial Pitchers David Price - FD 11900 DK 12500 StarsDraft Opponent- Atl (Miller) r Park- @Atl Here's your high-priced safe option for your 50/50's and double-ups. And to be quite honest, its not really close. Price has great numbers on the year, including an xFIP of 3.28 that puts him in the top ten among starting pitchers. Mix in an above average K/9 rate you've really got something. But the real value of this pick comes from the matchup against the Braves, who rank 27th in the league in wOBA and dead last in OPS against southpaws. Don't hesitate to roster Price because I fully expect him to be the top scoring pitcher of the evening. Alex Wood - FD 7900 DK 6600 StarsDraft Opponent- Col (de la Rosa) L Park- @Lad And here's your risky tournament play that could end up winning you quite a bit of cash. Wood has been strictly average this year, and none of his numbers really impress me (or anyone for that matter). So why do I recommend him? For the matchup of course, as the Rockies have been terrible against lefties this year. They rank 26th in OPS and 27th in wOBA against southpaw pitching, and those numbers include the boost they get from playing most of their games in a hitters paradise. It comes with quite a bit of risk involved, but picking Alex Wood gives you upside and enough flexibility to roster the big bats needed to do well in the big tourneys. Catchers I recommend going cheap at the catcher position today, so I'm starting off with Molina as my safe pick for this evening. Yadi has certainly struggled in the power department this year, but he's got a nearly 0.300 BA and an OPS over 0.700 on the year against right-handed pitching. Not numbers that win you a batting title or anything, but they're solid enough when they're matched up against Wily Peralta. Prelate has one of the lowest K/9 rates in the business, and Molina doesn't strikeout much. I expect Molina to pick up a couple...

And unlike NFL, baseball's the gift that keeps on giving. Especially with these picks. If you want the rest? Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks. Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial Pitchers Stephen Strasburg - FD 10100 DK 9800 StarsDraft Opponent- Phi (Buchanan) R Park- @Phi Let the record show that I never once stopped believing in the guy (except for that extended period this season where I clearly stopped believing in him). Strasburg is a labor of love for sure. He makes nothing easy and once you think it's all sorted out, he rips your heart of your chest with a massive blow up. But five of his last six games have lulled me into a state of non-denial about Stras as they've been solid with a couple bordering on lights out. Today he faces a Phillies' team that's struggled for most of the season. He's a huge favorite which means we are all starting to believe too much. And that's when Stras gonna Stras. Jacob deGrom - FD 11100 DK 11900 StarsDraft Opponent- Mia (Koehler) R Park- @Nym You won't have to break the bank on a couple of high upside pitchers today and I think you basically need to roll one of thee two guys (or even both on DraftKings). deGrom and Strasburg are really only the options as far as I'm concerned and the former is a great spot today. The Marlins rank dead last in the league against righty pitching and have been brutal all season long. They have just nothing to offer on the offensive side of the ball, striking out about 20% of the time and basically just stinking*. deGrom has struck out a batter an inning and limited the walks all season long. His floor is very high in the matchup as it's tough to imagine him getting chased early. *analysis Catchers Evan Gattis - FD 3000 DK 3700 StarsDraft 4900 Opponent- Tex (Holland) L Park- @Tex I associate the Grape with being a lefty killer, but that isn't necessarily the case. Gattis has been an even platoon guy over his career, though he's been above average against both hands. This season he's run very bad against lefties which has brought down his overall numbers. He...
Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft 9/14/15
Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft 9/14/15 I'll let you in on a little secret. Lean in closely. Have you noticed how Tuesday appears to be the biggest daily fantasy MLB contest of the season? Kind of odd, since NFL just started, right? Won't people be distracted. No. They'll be chasing losses. The unwashed masses who have deposited into DraftKings and FanDuel are now staring down their first week of losses, and they want to get even. That's where we come in. The last month of baseball is truly fishing season - let's get started. By the way - if you find yourself in that group of people chasing an NFL loss, or just want an extra edge? Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks. Sign up now and get a free 3 day trial to our lineup construction tools for both MLB and NFL for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft. Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial Pitchers Clayton Kershaw - FD 13500 DK 15500 StarsDraft Opponent- Col (Gray) R Park- @Lad And frankly, my dear, it isn't even close today. We actually doing wind up recommending Kershaw all that much because there are often so many other more reasonably priced aces, but today is a special day. First of all, it's a short slate, so our options are limited. More importantly, though, this is a dream match-up. Arguably the best match-up possible for a left handed pitcher. The Rockies have the 3rd lowest wOBA against left handed pitching this season, and the 3rd highest K rate. And the real kicker? Those numbers include both home and road games. They've got the 2nd lowest overall wOBA and the second highest K rate overall on the road against pitchers of all handedness. Kershaw's ceiling knows no bounds, here. And the Rockies starting the young and not so good Jonathan Gray only helps matters. Garrett Richards - FD 8400 DK 9800 StarsDraft Opponent- Sea (Walker) R Park- @Sea So in the interest of full disclosure, I'll play Kershaw in every 50/50 and double-up tonight, so these last two plays are more for big tournaments, for me. But, if you are just too concerned with the price tag, Richards might make a pretty good play for those formats too. After an odd early season dip in his K/9, Richards has been a strikeout per inning guy since the beginning of August. While he has some bad starts on his 2015 resume for sure, he presents the high teens/low twenties FanDuel fantasy points upside that you won't really find in many guys at this price point. He also has a...

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft 9/13/15 You there. I know why you're here. A) You aren't a football guy, and feel disgusted by the beginning of the NFL season. B) You know you will be miserable when Sam Bradford gets carted off the field in the first quarter, and want an additional sweat so you can keep hope alive, and not be impossible to be around for your friends and family. Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft 9/12/15
Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft 9/12/15 Week 1 of the NFL, another week of College Football, and then... baseball. But we die-hards are still going to go at this thing until the last gasp of fall ball, doing our best to make a buck along the way. One interesting note - the first week of baseball AFTER week 1 of the NFL is always huge. Why? All the football junkies are busy chasing their losses. So get your tools sharpened, and let's get eating. If you want our week 1 picks, check out Chris Raybon's week 1 NFL picks article. As for today's picks - it's a split slate, and I'll give a guy per position at the early slate, and a couple plays for the later bigger slate. If you want the rest? Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial Pitchers Early Slate Lance Lynn - FD 8200 DK 10200 StarsDraft Opponent- Cin (Desclafani) R Park- @Cin A lot of people will go with Cueto for the early slate, but I'm of the opinion that he's simply worn out at this point in the season. Unfortunately, that leaves us with precious few options. So, I'm going to throw my hat in with Lance Lynn. And yes, I know he is coming off his worst start of the season. But let's have a look, shall we? First of all, Lance Lynn was slightly overrated because of his ERA last year and his big win total in 2012. In reality, he's basically a slightly above league average pitcher with a nice K rate but something of a lack of command. At this point, though, he's priced very affordable for what he is. And there aren't a lot of options early. Did I mention that? So today, Lynn will take on the Reds, who in spite of the big names they possess, have the 20th highest wOBA in the majors. They're are also starting the young and below league average Anthony Desclafani, making this a nice spot to go grab a W. Lynn's a good cash game play here, and I'd consider him in big tournaments as well. Late Slate Madison Bumgarner - FD 12600 DK 12200 StarsDraft Opponent- SD (Kennedy) R Park- @SF After the dearth of good top dollar pitching in the early slate, Bumgarner comes as a breath of fresh air. He's an ace's ace, with a top 9 K/9 and xFIP, and the league's 6th stingiest...
