Value and Sleeper Picks for Daily Fantasy NFL Football for FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftPot - Week 9 It's another value picks and sleepers article for the 2015 NFL season! With a couple of weeks under our belts, some players are already undervalued on DraftKings and FanDuel. Roles change more rapidly in NFL than they do anywhere else, leaving us a huge opportunity to get to cashing in. Here are some guys that our projection system likes that you might not see elsewhere. We've also got Chris Raybon's Week 9 NFL picks sitting there waiting for you to digest. Want to find more sleepers and potential breakout daily fantasy football stars for the NFL in week 5? They are geared a little more towards DraftKings where, because of pricing range difference, it's a little easier to suss out some value on a given slate. Additionally, remember that these aren't necessarily your super safe cash game plays. There is always a little more risk with these picks than the ones laid out in Chris's Week 9 picks article. QUARTERBACKS Ryan Fitzpatrick - FD 7500 DK 5200 Opponent- JAC This is strictly a DraftKings play if you are looking to go a little cheaper at quarterback. Fitzpatrick left last week's game with a thumb injury, never a good sign for a quarterback. But he's expected to play this week and many of my thoughts from last week about him hold true this time around. If Marshall and Decker are in the lineup then Fitz has two solid target options and he'll be playing a Jaguars' defense ranked 28th in the league in DVOA against the pass this season. Again, this isn't the safest play of the week, but the price on DraftKings is so very low and the matchup is choice. Marcus Mariota - FD 7100 DK 5300 Opponent- NO I always get self-conscious with these plays in that I want to reiterate time and time again that they are far from the safest dudes out there. Mariota projects to come back from injury this week and if he is the starter then I think you can take a stab on Mariota on the cheap, especially on DraftKings. New Orleans, as shown week after week, if the worst pass defense in all of football. They rank dead last in DVOA against the pass and it isn't particularly close. On...

Daily Fantasy NFL Football Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftPot - Week 9 Editor's note: Get ready for Raybon's insightful article on NFL's week 9! He's done an amazing job breaking down the top plays of the week, but obviously, he could never include every single great play. If you want point projections for individual players? It was another killer week for DFSR's projection system. Eli Manning was the top overall QB play in our system and he and Brees played a game more suited to college football on Saturdays. Needless to say, we're all feeling pretty good around here! Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial   This week, I’d like to take a moment to discuss some correlations that you may not be utilizing in tournaments. Everyone knows about the QB-receiver or RB-defense stacks, but an overlooked correlation play is players from opposing pass games. In tournaments, you’re looking for outlying performances, and when one passing game posts an outlying performance (think the Saints last week), it puts pressure on the opposing passing game to do the same (think the Giants last week). In fact, the winning lineup in both the FanDuel Sunday Million and the DraftKings Millionaire Maker employed Brees stacks with Beckham also in the lineup. Although I unfortunately didn’t take home the grand prize in either contest, I had success with this strategy as well, not only with the Giants and Saints, but with Alshon Jeffery and Stefon Diggs in the Bears-Vikings game. The bets way to give yourself a decent shot at taking down a GPP is to submit multiple entries, but you’ll go crazy if you try to create a lineup with every single possible combination of players you like that week. Instead, think about employing same-game passing game correlations when deciding how to pair up your QBs, WRs, and TEs. QUARTERBACK Tom Brady - FD 9500 DK 8500 Opponent- WAS Brady leads all QBs in passing yards per game (344.3) and passing TDs per game (2.9). If you add in his two rushing scores, he’s averaging over three total TDs per game. The Redskins aren’t in a position to provide much resistance, as they are a bottom-10 team in terms of defensive passing DVOA and passer rating allowed. New England’s Vegas implied team total is sitting at a whopping 33 points, and Brady has been in on 79 percent of his team’s offensive TDs this season. Philip Rivers - FD 8600 DK 6900 Opponent- CHI Averaging 344.1...

Daily Fantasy NFL Picks for Draftpot - Week 8 Welcome to the Week 8 DFS NFL picks article for Draftpot, a brand new way to play fantasy sports. Draftpot is similar to other DFS sites except there is no salary cap restrictions. They offer two separate game types(Fan Mode/GM Mode). For NFL, Fan Mode allows you to build a roster of 1 QB,2 RB,3 WR,1 TE,2 FLEX,1 K,1 DEF without salary restrictions. You can roster anyone you want. In GM Mode, you also roster the same positions but have a Drafpot Points Per Game(DPPG) cap. Each player have a PPG value attached to their name which is a reflection of their previous 16 games played. This gives a more transparent look at player value. Need other NFL Picks? Chris Raybon's Week 8 NFL Plays are up as well as our Week 8 Value Picks. Overlay Alert and Free Access to our Projections! DraftPot has a $100K Guaranteed contest for NFL's Week 8 that's less than 15%  FULL. Sign up and deposit with the promo code "DFSR" to get 100% matching bonus up to $1000. Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial   When making my picks I will be looking at a multitude of information (Vegas lines, totals and player props, targets, defensive matchups, injuries, offensive line rankings and of course DPPG) to break down all the players in the pool to provide you with the best analysis possible for the slate at hand. If you missed out on Week 7 at DraftPot, you missed out on a large amount of overlay. Don't worry though. They are doing it again this week with their $12 entry, $100,000 Guarantee Touchdown Fan Mode tournament. It pays $10,000 to first and is bound to have more overlay again this weekend. Get in on the action while there is still time. To win a tournament in Fan Mode you won't be able to just pick the top players at their positions each week. You will need to differentiate yourself with some low ownership picks. One way I love doing this is picking good players who are coming off a bad to horrible week. Recency bias plays a huge part in...

Value and Sleeper Picks for Daily Fantasy NFL Football for FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftPot - Week 8 It's another value picks and sleepers article for the 2015 NFL season! With a couple of weeks under our belts, some players are already undervalued on DraftKings and FanDuel. Additionally, remember that these aren't necessarily your super safe cash game plays. There is always a little more risk with these picks than the ones laid out in Chris's Week 8 picks article. QUARTERBACKS Teddy Bridgewater - FD 6900 DK 5100 Opponent- CHI Teddy B's been solid if not spectacular so far this season. In the last three games he's average around 35 pass attempts per game though not always as the most accurate passer in the world. It's that second piece which has kept his price on the lower side in that he's not seeing the top end production because not everything is on the mark. This week he'll face a Bears' team ranked 26th in team DVOA against the pass in a game that should remain close (albeit low scoring). I'm not interested in his FD prce, but at $5100 on DraftKings he gives you a lot of flexibility with somewhat limited downside considering the track record. Ryan Fitzpatrick - FD 7400 DK 5200 Opponent- OAK Another DraftKings-only play as he's way too expensive on FanDuel. Fitzpatrick doesn't project for as many pass attempts as Bridgewater, but makes up for it some by adding rushing yards that just haven't been there as consistently for Bridgewater. Fitzpatrick has two competent weapons at his disposal in Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker that he does target in the red zone (both rank higher for WRs on targets within the ten yard line). The Raiders are a middle of the road team against the pass,...

Daily Fantasy NFL Football Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftPot – Week 8

Daily Fantasy NFL Football Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftPot - Week 8 Editor's note: Get ready for Raybon's insightful article on NFL's week 8! He's done an amazing job breaking down the top plays of the week, but obvioulsy, he could never include every single great play. If you want point projections for individual players? It was a killer week for DFSR's projection system. The optimal lineup of Kirk Cousins, Le'Veon Bell, Todd Gurley, Deandre Hopkins, Calvin Johnson, Jordan Reed, Adam Vinataeri, and Rams Defense put up 184.5 FanDuel Points. Needless to say, we're all feeling pretty good around here! Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial I’ve touched on this before, but touchdowns are a very volatile statistic in DFS. They’re tough to predict and often account for much of the variance in game-to-game fantasy output. Predicting TDs accurately will always be a crap-shoot with most non-QBs less than a 50/50 bet to reach the end zone, but there are a few ways to make sure you’re maximizing your lineup’s TD potential. Volume Simply put, the more a player touches the ball, the more likely it is he’ll reach the end zone. Unpredictable things happen all the time in the NFL: defenders slip, or just plan whiff on tackles. The more a player has the ball in his hands, the more likely he is to benefit from these happenstance occurrences. Red Zone Work Two thirds of passing TDs and nearly 90 percent of rushing TDs occur on plays that start inside the red zone. The players that see their number called in the red zone most frequently are the ones with the greatest TD potential. High Vegas Totals Games with high Vegas totals are where the most scoring will occur. Selecting players from these games will increase your TD upside. But remember to check a player’s percentage of workload on red zone workload stats first. A high Vegas total doesn’t mean as much if the player isn’t normally involved with a team’s scoring plays. Deep Targets Deep targets are the hardest to rely on, but they’re high-value fantasy targets. If a player is adept at getting open deep, all it takes is one accurate pass to hit pay dirt. Now let’s get in to the Week 8 plays. QUARTERBACK Andy Dalton - FD 8100 DK 6000Opponent- PIT Dalton will face a Steelers defense allowing 293 passing yards per game, fifth-most in the NFL. The Steelers are also strong against the run,...
