DFSR's Daily Fantasy MLB Podcast for FanDuel and DraftKings - Tuesday 5/4/17 It’s a double slate of MLB game for Thursday with a bunch starting at 1PM EST and then a shorter five-game slate in the evening. The theme of the day is the chalk pitchers on each slate. For the afternoon it’s clearly Max Scherzer even up against a tougher Diamondbacks’ offense. Max is an overwhelming money line favorite going in and clearly the best talent going today. You can also pair him with John Lackey on DraftKings in the starting pitcher two slot. Lackey is in a solid matchup against the Phillies and coming cheaper than Scherzer. For the evening slate it’s basically Adam Wainwright or bust in cash games as he represents the clear choice. The drop off in talent after him is pretty stark. For stacks the guys discuss the Nationals coming a little more on the expensive end, the Astros against AJ Griffin, and both side of the A’s/ Twins game. All of that and more on a full MLB podcast for FanDuel and DraftKings. Be sure to subscribe...

DFSR's Daily Fantasy MLB Podcast for FanDuel and DraftKings - Tuesday 5/2/17 DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis take to the baseball podcast to discuss a full slate of evening games. There’s a lot to discuss, especially on the pitching side. Chris Sale headlines the talk as he’s been an ace’s ace this season. His numbers are in the Kershaw level with elite K’s and really limiting the walks. He’s almost certainly the chalk cash game pitcher. The guys also discuss Carlos Martinez, Jon Lester, Alex Wood, and James Paxton as considerations. On the offensive side of things they discuss the Cubs against Jeremy Hellickson, the Yankees against a garbage Mat Latos arm, The Red Sox against Alec Asher and the Reds. All of this and more on the Tuesday MLB podcast for FanDuel and DraftKings. Be sure to subscribe...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 5/2/17 We are fully into round two now and man it's good to be here. Last night saw some more of the same from the Cavs who could be looking to get out of that series as quickly as possible. Tonight has us in Game 2 of the Celtics-Wizards series and a much-anticipated matchup between the methodical Jazz and the high-octane firepower of the Warriors. Washington Wizards at Boston Celtics Washington lost the game and Isaiah Thomas lost a tooth. All in all it was an interesting first game of the second round. The Wizards jumped out to an early lead in Game 1, finishing the first quarter up 16. But that was the end of that as the Celtics controlled the game for the rest of the way. Isaiah Thomas continued his scoring ways, finishing with 33 points on 11-23 shooting from the field. Boston was able to switch him enough into positive defensive matchups around the arc and he capitalized as the game went on. Al Horford had another fantastic all-around game, nearly posting a triple-double with a 21/9/10 line. If he continues to play mid 30’s minutes (and there’s no reason to suspect it will stop) Horford continues to be an fantastic C option. He creates all kinds of matchup problems for Washington because of how much time he can spend away from the basket. Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder played big minutes for the Celtics but both of their prices are climbing after a pretty consistent playoff run. I don’t mind their floors, but it’s going to be hard wiggling in their price tags at this point. At this point, the Wizards’ bench woes are well documented and it means continued huge run for John Wall, Bradley Beal and to a slightly lesser extent Otto Porter and Marcin Gortat. They have such a massive drop off in their bench talent that these guys are going to need to play most of the game from here on out. Wall finished with a 20/16 line and while not must plays, he and Beal are likely highest floor cash game plays in their respective price tiers simply because they stand to play so many minutes. The big question for the Wizards tonight is the status of Markieff...

DFSR's Daily Fantasy MLB Podcast for FanDuel and DraftKings - Friday 4/28/17 DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis take to a Friday MLB podcast to discuss a full slate of evening games. There’s a lot to like going in with Max Scherzer taking the mound against a struggling Mets’ team. He comes in as, likely, the cash game pitcher based on pedigree, matchup and upside. But the guys also discuss Robbie Ray, Jeff Samardzija, and possibly even Jacob deGrom as tournament guys. For the offenses they take a look at the Astros facing a weak Jharrel Cotton arm, the Angels against Nick Martinez and the Toronto coming cheap against Blake Snell. All of that an more on the Friday podcast. Be sure to subscribe...

DFSR's Daily Fantasy MLB Podcast for FanDuel and DraftKings - Thursday 4/27/17 DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis take to the MLB podcast to discuss a couple of short slates for Thursday baseball. There’s a lot to like about both the early and the late. First off, Noah Syndergaard was scratched after they posted the podcast and Matt Harvey will take his spot in the rotation. But the early slate also features Corey Kluber, Justin Verlander and Carlos Martinez. The Cardinals are in a good spot all day in their double header against the Blue Jays, facing Mat Latos and Casey Lawrence respectively. And then we need to consider paying up for Coors’ bats. In the evening it’s all Chris Sale against the Yankees. He’s been about the best pitcher in baseball this season and is the clear cut ace for the evening. Be sure to subscribe...
