GOALIE John Gibson FD - $7800 DK - $8400 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 19.91 DK - 14.93 Gibson is coming off back to back losses but is right at the top of my ranks on Tuesday as he checks almost every other box. It starts with the matchup as the Ducks are -145 home favorites against a Red Wings team that ranks dead last in offense and has lost seven straight road games while averaging just 1.3 goals per game. The floor is also high for Gibson who is seeing over 31 shots per game combined with the Red Wings who average over 30 shots for per game. Gibson is my top goalie in all formats tonight. Connor Hellebuyck FD - $8300 DK - $7900 Opponent - COL Proj Pts FD - 17.49 DK - 12.97 There is a lot more risk here with Hellebuyck as he is facing an Avalanche team that ranks 3rd overall in offense but the GPP upside and projected lower ownership make him a great GPP target tonight. What Hellebuyck has going for him is that he has been terrific on home ice with a .945 save % while facing 33 shots per game and comes in hot holding teams to two or fewer goals in four straight starts. I lean Gibson in cash games but will have plenty of shares of Hellebuyck in GPP formats tonight. Also Consider: Jordan Binnington(STL) who has wins in five straight and seven of his last eight starts and faces a Coyotes team that ranks 20th on offense CENTERS Evgeni Malkin FD - $8000 DK - $6400 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 16.53 DK - 11.54 Ryan Strome FD - $5500 DK - $5600 Opponent - PIT Proj Pts FD - 12.76 DK - 8.99 The Penguins/Rangers game is one of just two games...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/7/19 Welcome back hockey fans. Thursday is a huge night with 11 games on the slate and we can most certainly expect some high scores with a whopping seven games sitting with a 6.5 Vegas total. Let's jump in and take a look at some core plays at each position and for even more make sure to check out the projection system and lineup optimizer. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NHL optimizer! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA? Be sure to read our free NBA Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Darcy Kuemper FD - $8400 DK - $8400 Opponent - CBJ Proj Pts FD - 18.11 DK - 13.31 The Coyotes narrowly missed the playoffs a year ago and have built off that with a hot start to this season going 9-4-2. They rank second overall defensively and largely due to the play of their #1 goalie, Darcy Kuemper who has not only won seven of his 10 starts but also leads the league with an elite .940 save %. The only knock on him is that faces under 30 shots per game but I am willing to accept that tonight considering the plus matchup against the struggling Blue Jackets who have lost five straight while scoring just nine goals and rank 30th overall offensively(2.3 goals per game) on the season. Fire up Kuemper in all formats. Carter Hart FD - $7500 DK - $7900 Opponent - MON Proj Pts FD - 16.69 DK - 13.29 It hasn't exactly been the start to the season Hart or Flyers had hoped for but in the short term, I am going to chalk it up to a ton of travel early on. The good news is that he did end the five-game losing streak and has stopped 66 of 70 shots in back to back wins with the most impressive on Tuesday against Carolina(saved 33 of 34). The matchup is not exactly much better tonight as the Habs have been excellent on the road but I love the upside as they are averaging over 34 shots per game. The projected low ownership, upside, and sub $8K price tag on both sites make him one of my favorite GPP plays at the goalie position tonight. Also Consider: Petr Mrazek(CAR) in a great spot at home against a Rangers team playing on a back to back and third game in four nights CENTERS Elias Pettersson FD - $7300 DK - $7200 Opponent - CHI Proj...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/5/19

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/5/19 Welcome back hockey fans. We have a very busy Tuesday ahead of us with 11 games on the schedule so let's jump right in and look at some core plays at each position. GOALIE Semyon Varlamov FD - $8300 DK - $8400 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 20.47 DK - 15.09 Thomas Greiss FD - $8100 DK - $8400 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 16.89 DK - 13.19 The Islanders are in a great spot tonight as -260 home favorites facing a Senators team that is playing on a back to back and third game in four nights, all on the road. On top of that, the Sens rank 25th on offense scoring just 2.6 goals per game and have been even worse on the road scoring just 2.0 goals per game. The Isles have a true committee between the pipes and whichever one is starting is right at the top of my list. Varlamov comes in with five straight wins while stopping 143 of 151 shots(.947 save %) while Greiss has won four straight while saving 118 of 126 shots(.937 save %). Stay tuned for the confirmed starter during the day but it really doesn't matter as they are the same price and both great plays in all formats. John Gibson FD - $8200 DK - $8300 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 19.56 DK - 14.68 The goalie position is loaded tonight and John Gibson is another one that pops off the page checking almost every single box. It starts with Anaheim sitting as -150 home favorites in a very favorable matchup against the Wild who rank 29th in offense(2.4 goals per game) and like the Sens, they have been much worse on the road scoring just 1.6 goals per game which ranks dead last. Gibson has been much more of a roller coaster this season allowing four or more goals four times but has also held opponents to two or fewer in eight starts for an overall .926 save % which is just outside the Top 10. And if we are talking high floors, he has also seen 40+ shots against in three straight. I do lean the Isles goalies in cash but Gibson is most definitely in play in all formats as well. Also Consider: David Rittich(CGY)...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/4/19

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/4/19 Welcome back hockey fans. While Monday only brings us four games, the slate lines up well for offense as two games(Nsh@Det, Ari@Edm) have a 6.0 Vegas total while the other two(Pit@Bos, Ott@Nyr) are sitting 6.5 tonight. Let's jump in and take a look at some of my core plays at each position. GOALIE Pekka Rinne FD - $8800 DK - $7800 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 14.77 DK - 11.51 Despite this being a smaller slate, we have some interesting decisions to make at the goalie position. Let's start with Pekka Rinne who is coming off his worst start of the season(6-5 loss vs. CGY) but had back to back shutouts going into that game and has held opponents to two or fewer goals in seven of his nine starts this season for an above-average .920 save %. The Preds are a better team on home ice but on this slate, it will be hard to ignore the matchup as the Red Wings have dropped 10 of their last 11 games while averaging just 1.7 goals per game. All things considered, Rinne is the safest option on this slate and in play in all formats. Alexandar Georgiev FD - $7400 DK - $7800 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 18.72 DK - 14.9 I started out writing up Lundqvist as a GPP play but as I was doing that, the Rangers announced they will be giving Georgiev his third straight start. It is much deserved as he has been terrific lately stopping 61 of 63 shots against the Lightning and Predators who rank 11th and 2nd in offense respectively. On the season, he has been excellent with a .933 save % and the most impressive part is that he is performing this well while facing just over 33 shots per game(in his five starts) providing us a high floor and ceiling. He is in play in all formats.   CENTERS Patrice Bergeron FD - $7500 DK - $7800 Opponent - PIT Proj Pts FD - 17.08 DK - 12.17 The Penguins have been playing much better defensively lately but there is no way I am fading arguably the best line in the league at home on a four-game slate. On DraftKings the decision is close between him and McDavid but I lean Bergeron...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/1/19 Welcome back hockey fans. We have a busy Friday night on the ice with eight games so let's jump in and take a look at some of the core plays at each position. After reading, make sure to check out our projection system and lineup optimizer which is equipped with a ton of filters to help you create unique and profitable lineups. Be sure to read our free NBA Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Jordan Binnington FD - $8100 DK - $8400 Opponent - CBJ Proj Pts FD - 17.41 DK - 13.81 Binnington is starting to heat up as the calendar flips to November as he enters this game having allowed two or fewer goals against in four of his last five starts bringing his save % up to .918 for the season. He and the Blues are at home tonight as big -175 favorites in a plus matchup against the Blue Jackets who have struggled offensively scoring just 2.6 goals per game(25th). With the Jackets averaging over 32 shots per game and the Blues allowing just over 30 per game this gives Binnington a high floor and ceiling making him easily my top goalie in all formats. Petr Mrazek FD - $7500 DK - $8000 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 17.07 DK - 13.35 Home goalies are the theme tonight and up next is Petr Mrazek who has been terrific to start the season going 6-1-1 with a .917 save % and two shutouts. He has one of the deepest defensive corps in the league in front of him which does limit the shots he faces but he and the Canes get a terrific matchup as huge -260 favorites against the Red Wings who have dropped eight of their last nine games and rank 28th in offense(2.3 goals per game). Like I said above, Binnington is my top guy tonight but if you need the savings Mrazek is also a great play in all formats. Also Consider: Jacob Markstrom(VAN) CENTERS Bo Horvat FD - $6100 DK - $6800 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 13.61 DK - 10.82 The Canucks rebuild is blossoming nicely and they are off to a great start to the season sitting near the top of the conference with an 8-3-1 record. One of the major contributors has been Bo Horvat who leads all Canucks forwards in ice-time(19.1...
