GOALIE John Gibson FD - $8300 DK - $8400 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 16.15 DK - 4.04 After a red-hot start to the season, Gibson has stumbled a bit lately losing four straight and has given up nine goals in his two starts. Normally I would probably only consider Gibson a GPP option with his form but considering the other options are either good goalies in bad matchups or average goalies in good matchups I will be rolling with Gibson who is very talented and gets a plus matchup. He will face a Rangers team who did burn us the other night if you used Martin Jones but still rank 27th in offense overall. The other thing I like about Gibson is the upside as he is currently facing 38 shots a game. The Ducks are -155 favorites at this point and I will be using Gibson in all formats. Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9300 DK - $7800 Opponent - NAS Proj Pts FD - 17.82 DK - 4.45 The matchup for the Lightning and Vasilevskiy isn't great tonight facing the Predators 6th ranked offense(3.5 goals per game) but he is still too cheap on DraftKings under $8K. He is also one of the top 3 goalies in the league in terms of talent and after three straight wins, he enters tonight with a 6-1-1 record with an elite .935 save % and will be at home as a -130 favorite. Not only is the win expectation there for the Lightning tonight but the Preds take over 30 shots per game while the Bolts allow over 30 shots per game which helps the upside for Vasilevskiy and it only helps that he has an elite offense in front of him. GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9100 DK - $7900 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 14.83 DK - 3.71 There is a nice selection of goalies to pay up for tonight but for cash games, Bobrovsky(CBJ) and Murray(PIT) have been way too inconsistent which has me leaning Vasilevskiy as my top option tonight. Outside of one bad start where he gave up five goals to the Wild on the road, Vasilevskiy has been elite holding opponents to two or fewer goals in each of his other six starts and now sits with a 5-1-1 record, 1.83 GAA, and elite .940 save %. The matchup may not seem terrific as the Devils rank 6th in offense but have played seven of eight games at home and have lost their only road game. They now start a long seven-game road trip and face a Bolts who are 4-1 at home. The decision is closer on FanDuel where Vasilevskiy is the most expensive option but on DraftKings it is much easier as he is priced in the sub $8K range. Martin Jones FD - $8600 DK - $8300 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 15.06 DK - 3.77 The other option I am looking to tonight in all formats is Martin Jones. Not only are the Sharks the biggest favorites(-260) on the slate but they also get a tremendous matchup against a Rangers team that has lost four of their last five games and sit with a 3-7-1 record on the season while ranking 27th in offense scoring just 2.45 goals per game. The only issue I have with Jones is that the Sharks give up the fifth-fewest shots per game(28.4) which limits their goalie's upside in GPP's but the win probability is high enough to not worry too much about cash games. Saturday starts with an early four-game slate(three on DraftKings) followed by a seven-game main slate starting at 7:00 p.m. ET. For this article, I will be concentrating on the main slate so let's jump in and take a look at some of the top plays at each position. GOALIE Tuukka Rask FD - $8400 DK - $8200 Opponent - MON Proj Pts FD - 14.38 DK - 3.6 It has been a rough start to the season for Rask who entered his last start with an ugly .875 save % but bounced back in a big way in Ottawa on Tuesday saving 38 of 39 shots picking up his third win of the season. He has already been confirmed for Saturday's tilt at home against the Canadiens who have been a surprise story early in the season with a 5-2-2 record but only sit middle of the pack in offense(3.2 goals per game) and don't have a ton of firepower after trading away Pacioretty and Galchenyuk in the offseason. The Bruins are big -180 favorites and Rask is my top goalie in all formats tonight. Louis Domingue FD - $7600 DK - $8100 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 16.61 DK - 4.15 The goalie position is not very intriguing tonight and is the reason why I am taking the savings and rolling with Domingue despite the Lightning playing on a back to back and third game in four nights. It will be his third start of the season and he has been very impressive early on as the backup stopping 71 of 76 shots(.934 save%) and winning both of his starts against the Blackhawks and Hurricanes. He and the Bolts now go into Arizona to face a Coyotes team that ranks 30th in offense scoring just 2.00 goals per game. There is some risk here but with his price and matchup, I will be using Domingue in all formats tonight. Also Consider: Corey Crawford(CHI) who has been terrific lately allowing just three goals in his last three starts CENTERS Jack Eichel FD - $7300 DK - $6300 Opponent - CBJ Proj Pts FD - 11.87 DK - 4.5 There is a collection of superstar centers on this slate but I am going to go down the list into...

For the season he is now 3-1-2 with a .944 save % and what is most impressive is that he is facing a whopping 38.8 shots against per game which really elevates his floor and ceiling. The Wild are on home ice tonight as -165 favorites and will face a struggling Kings team that is 2-6-1 on the season and have scored just 1.9 goals per game. All things considered, Dubnyk is my top goalie in all formats. Antti Raanta FD - $7700 DK - $7900 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 15.72 DK - 3.93 Darcy Kuemper FD - $7200 DK - $7700 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 15.12 DK - 3.78 Raanta was scratched on Tuesday night with an illness but is projected to start tonight in an excellent matchup against the Canucks who are playing on back to back nights on the road and a third game in four nights. It has been a somewhat disappointing start to the season for Raanta who posted an impressive .930 save % in his first season with Arizona a year ago. This makes him a GPP only value option tonight and if he is unable to go fire up Darcy Kuemper. He filled in on Tuesday and was very impressive stopping 35 of 36 shots the Blue Jackets threw his way. Over two starts, he has stopped 61 of 64 shots for a .953 save %. Also Consider: Ben Bishop(DAL) who is at home against a Ducks team that is scoring just 2.4 goals per game CENTERS Patrice Bergeron FD - $8100 DK - $7800 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD -...

GOALIE Juuse Saros FD - $8100 DK - $8000 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 18.85 DK - 4.71 There are twice as many games as last night but the goaltender position is not any easier to navigate. The top goalies(Bobrovsky, Bishop) are struggling and the reigning Vezina Trophy winner, Pekka Rinne, was pulled in his last start with an undisclosed injury and placed on injured reserve. Filling in for him will be Juuse Saros who has been terrific so far this season going 4-0 with a .945 save % and is coming off a 31 save shutout in Edmonton. The matchup isn't great but it isn't terrible either as the Sharks have been just average to start the season with a 4-3-1 record scoring 3.3 goals per game(16th). The Predators have also been one of the best home teams over the last 2-3 seasons as well making me more confident in firing up Saros in all formats. Sergei Bobrovsky FD - $8900 DK - $8400 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 19.13 DK - 4.78 Bobrovsky is coming off back to back seasons with 37 or more wins including a Vezina Trophy in 2016-17 but thing have not gone so well for him early this season. He sits with an ugly .876 save % but fortunately due to the offense in front of him he sits with a 2-3 record scoring 6+ DK/24+ FD points in two of his five starts. What stands out tonight and why it makes sense to ride with him, at least in GPP formats, is that he is at home as a big favorite(-167) against a Coyotes team that ranks dead last in offense scoring just 1.4 goals per game. With his struggles and high price, he may also be lower owned than he should be in this matchup.
