Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/15/18 Welcome back hockey fans. Thursday night brings us nine games on the schedule with no teams playing a back to back and just two teams(VAN, NSH) playing a third game in four nights. There are also seven of the Top 10 offenses in play tonight with six of the games with a 6 Vegas Total. Let's dig in and take a look at some of the top plays at each position. GOALIE Devan Dubnyk FD - $8900 DK - $8400 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 14.43 DK - 3.61 It has been an eventful start to the season for Dubnyk who has either been really good or really bad. He has given up four or more goals in four of his six losses but has given up two or fewer goals in seven of his eight wins. Tonight is setting up as one of the better games for Dubnyk as he and the Wild will be at home as the biggest favorites(-210) on the slate against a Canucks team that is playing a third game in four nights as they close out a long six-game road trip and have lost three straight and four of their last five. All things considered, Dubnyk is my top goalie in all formats tonight. Pekka Rinne FD - $9200 DK - $7900 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 18.54 DK - 4.63 The decision on FanDuel is a lot closer at the top but on DraftKings it feels like Rinne is way too cheap tonight. The Coyotes were on quite a roll winning five straight at the end of October but have struggled lately losing four of their last five and now rank 28th overall when looking at offense. For Rinne, he comes in ranked second overall in GAA(1.47), save %(.951), and shutouts(2). The Preds are only -138 favorites tonight on the road but being away from Nashville hasn't affected Rinne(3-0-1 with a .947 save %) so fire him up in all formats. CENTERS Mika Zibanejad FD - $7200 DK - $7000 Opponent - NYI Proj Pts FD - 11.98 DK - 4.48 If you have the cash to pay up tonight, John Tavares is the top raw points center on this slate but I will be taking the slight discount and...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/12/18 Welcome back hockey fans. Tuesday brings us a nine-game slate with two teams(VAN, NSH) playing on a back to back and another(ARI) playing a third game in four nights. Let's jump in and take a look at some of the top plays at each position. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB optimizer and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with MLB? Be sure to read our free MLB Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Frederik Andersen FD - $8700 DK - $8200 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 0 DK - 4.28 I am going to venture right to the late game for my top goalie of the night. The Leafs head into the Los Angeles on Tuesday night as -130 favorites which may have seemed crazy in season's past but considering the Kings sit with a league-low 11 points it makes perfect sense. They come into this game losers of nine of their last 12 games while scoring just 26 goals and continue to sit dead last in scoring(2.06 goals per game). For Andersen, he has been brilliant lately allowing just two goals in his last three starts giving him a .933 save % on the season. Fire up Andersen in all formats tonight. Robin Lehner FD - $7400 DK - $8000 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 19.92 DK - 4.98 If you are looking to go a bit cheaper at goalie with possibly less ownership as well consider Robin Lehner as the Islanders are currently the biggest favorites(-160) on the slate. They will be at home tonight against a Canucks team in the midst of a long road trip in which they have already dropped three of four games. Lehner hasn't been elite to start the season but he has been solid holding opponents to three or fewer goals in seven of his nine starts and sits with a .921 save % on the season. Even better news is that he has played seven of his nine games on the road and now returns home where he has gone 1-0-1 with a shutout. At these prices, I would consider him in all formats. CENTERS John Tavares FD - $8300 DK - $7300 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 13.89 DK - 5.45 The signing of John Tavares has proved huge early in the 2018-19 season with Auston Matthews on the injured reserve. Since he went down with the shoulder injury, Johnny T has...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/8/18

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/8/18 Welcome back hockey fans. Thursday is another busy night in the NHL with nine games on tap and while no teams are playing on a back to back, three teams(EDM, MON, DAL) are playing a third game in four nights. GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9400 DK - $8400 Opponent - NYI Proj Pts FD - 20.29 DK - 5.07 From a raw points standpoint, Vasilevskiy is our top projected goalie on Thursday night as the Lightning are at home as -210 favorites against the Islanders. The Isles have won five of their last six games and have climbed into the Metropolitan Division lead but Vasi has been equally impressive this season as he sits tied with Frederik Andersen with eight wins and sits fourth in both GAA(1.95) and save %(.935) after allowing just two goals on 70 shots over his last two starts. He has an explosive offense(2nd overall) and rock-solid defense(5th overall) in front of him and he generates a high floor facing over 30 shots per game and has big-time win potential on any given night. He is my top overall goalie in all formats. Jaroslav Halak FD - $8200 DK - $8200 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 13.76 DK - 3.44 Halak has been a bit of a pleasant surprise for the Bruins early this season as he has split time with Tuukka Rask who has struggled mightily. Halak has made seven starts this season and comes into this game leading the league with an elite 1.45 GAA and .952 save %. The Bruins are also the biggest favorites(-235) on this slate as they have been terrific at home(5-1) and face a Canucks team who has been much worse on the road this season with a 4-4-1 record and have scored just 2.6 goals per game. While I wouldn't argue if you wanted to pay up $200 more for Vasilevskiy on DraftKings, Halak is my choice on FanDuel where he costs $1,200 less tonight in a better matchup. Also Consider: Corey Crawford(CHI) for GPP formats at home vs. a Hurricanes team that has lost five straight and eight of their last 10 games scoring just an average of 1.8 goals...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/6/18

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/6/18 Welcome back hockey fans. We have a busy Tuesday night ahead of us with nine games on tap including four teams(MON, DAL, NJ, EDM) who are not playing a back to back about also a third game in four nights. Let's take a look at some of the top plays at each position and then make sure to grab a copy of my DFS NHL Cheatsheet where I highlight all my top plays and stacks for the night. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB optimizer and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! GOALIE Frederik Andersen FD - $8200 DK - $8400 Opponent - VEG Proj Pts FD - 18.2 DK - 4.55 The goalie position has been a bit of a mess this season and tonight is no different as the top goalies have either been shaky(Bobrovsky, Lundqvist, Jones) or get tougher matchups(Vasilevskiy). The Leafs matchup isn't perfect either as they have been much better on the road(6-0) this season but I will ride with Andersen at home tonight for a couple reasons. It starts with the fact they are -135 favorites facing a Vegas team that is 2-5 on the road and ranks 30th in offense away from Sin City scoring just 1.7 goals per game. Andersen has also been consistent lately coming off a shutout of the Penguins and has allowed opponents two or fewer goals in five straight and seven of his last nine starts. He is the most expensive goalie on DraftKings so pivoting is an option but on FanDuel where he is the 7th most expensive option, he is my top choice tonight in all formats. John Gibson FD - $8600 DK - $8300 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 15.99 DK - 4 After a couple rough starts where he allowed nine goals in two games, Gibson rebounded allowing just two in each of his next two starts pushing his save % up to .935 on the season which sits just outside the Top 5. He falls in as my #2 option tonight simply because the Ducks are on the road tonight but it is only a one hour trip North to the Staples Center to face a Kings team that sits at the bottom of the conference(4-8-1). They also rank dead last in the league in offense scoring just 2.15 goals per game. The only downfall here...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/3/18

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/3/18 Welcome back hockey fans. Saturday beings with an afternoon matchup between the Panthers and Jets but for this article, I will be looking at the big 11-game slate starting at 7:00 p.m. ET tonight. Let's jump in and take a look at some of the top plays at each position and then make sure to grab a copy of my DFS NHL cheatsheet where I highlight all my favorite targets for cash and GPP formats along with my top stacks. GOALIE Pekka Rinne FD - $8100 DK - $8000 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 18.31 DK - 4.58 The goalie position isn't anything special tonight so to start off I will be turning to the reigning Vezina Trophy winner. He missed a couple weeks with an undisclosed injury but returned to action on Thursday and was brilliant on the road in Tampa Bay stopping 42 of 43 shots to pick up his fourth win of the season. It also elevated his save % to .940 on the season, second to only the Bruins Jaroslav Halak. Tonight Rinne and the Preds are on home ice as -135 favorites against the Bruins who sit middle of the pack in offense and have been slightly worse on the road(3-2-2 record). All things considered, Rinne is my top goalie in all formats tonight. Sergei Bobrovsky FD - $8600 DK - $8100 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 16.68 DK - 4.17 After a rough start to the season for Bobrovsky, he is finally starting to turn it around. He came in against Detroit in the first period after Korpisalo got pulled and was impressive allowing just one goal on 24 shots and followed that up with a 44 save effort in a 4-1 win over the Sharks on Thursday. The Blue Jackets are only small -120 favorites tonight but digging a little deeper, the matchup is much better than it seems as they face a Kings team that has scored just 14 goals in their last eight games(1.8 per game). Given he is the fifth most expensive goalie on both sites with limited options in great spots, I am willing to trust him in all formats. Also Consider: Marc-Andre Fleury(VGK) in GPP formats against the Hurricanes who have lost three straight and...
