He doesn't rank high on a raw points scale as he has only faced 30+ shots in a game once this season. I will take the low ceiling as he comes with excellent win potential against a Preds team that is playing a third game in four nights and all on the road. As long as the price continues to hover in the mid tier he will be a top goalie in daily fantasy and is coming off back to back wins allowing just one goal in each. Ben Bishop FD - $9100 DK - $8300 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 19.13 DK - 4.78 It's been a roller coaster ride for the Bolts top goalie so far this season. He has a 3-2 record but has logged a terrible 3.22 GAA and .891 save % as the Tampa defense has been somewhat suspect. The good news is they have a powerful offense that has lead them to an impressive 5-2 start. Bishop Played well in his last outing, stopping 23 of 25 shots but ended up with the loss against the NHL leading Habs. He gets an excellent matchup tonight against the 29th ranked offense of the Devils. The Lightning are early -145 favorites making Bishop a safe play in all formats. We are now almost two weeks into the new season and some clear trends are starting to take shape. Avoid playing your offense against the Montreal Canadiens. They lead the league in both goals for and against per game for a league best +13 goal differential. The Capitals and Devils may not have the same offensive output as the Habs but both teams are also allowing under two goals per game. The biggest surprise of the early season is the 5-1 Edmonton Oilers who are tied with the Habs with the top offensive scoring 3.83 goals per game and have won four of their five by two or more. He missed the Habs first three games of the season dealing with the flu but has been confirmed starting and brings a boost to the entire team. He was tremendous for Team Canada going 5-0 with a .957 save % in the World Cup and is coming off a 43 win season where he recorded a .933 save % for the Canadiens.
