Holtby should be back between the pipes tonight after a day of rest. He started on Saturday night vs. the Lightning and took an overtime loss, allowing just one goal and making 32 saves. He will be in a nice spot to rebound tonight as the Capitals are -225 home favorites to the Sabres who sit in the basement of the Eastern Conference. I would normally only use Holtby in cash games as the upside is limited facing under 28 shots per game while the Sabres are a low volume shot team. However, on a small slate is safe in all formats.   Sergei Bobrovsky FD - $9000 DK - $8300 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 17.99 DK - 4.5 The trend tonight, at least in my opinion, is going to be target the home teams. All of them are favorites with the Blue Jackets(-240) coming in as the biggest of them all. This puts Sergei Bobrovsky in a great situation to pick up a win tonight. The Rangers and King Henrik are big -190 home favorites to the Hurricanes and their 23rd ranked offense and poor 3-6-5 road record. Lundqvist has been up and down this season but beat this Canes team in Carolina earlier this week and should have no trouble doing it again today in New York. He is safe in all formats.   Marc-Andre Fleury FD - $8700 DK - $8200 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 19.89 DK - 4.97 Looking at the main slate tonight we have a very similar situation as above. The Penguins are big -210 home favorites to teh Red Wings and their 24th ranked offense. The Capitals currently sit as a -260 home favorite on Thursday night. The Islanders come to town playing on back to back nights and own the worst road record(1-6-1) in the league. Holtby, for the most part, is a cash game play only due to the fact he is facing under 28 shots per 60 minutes while the Islanders rank near the bottom in shots taken. This really limits the upside.   Tuukka Rask FD - $9100 DK - $8100 Opponent - CAR Proj Pts FD - 18.9 DK - 4.73 When looking at tournament construction tonight I will be starting with Rask who should come in a bit lower owned than Holtby and has close to the same winning upside. The Bruins are -160 home favorites to the Hurricanes who have had a tough time on the road(3-6-4) this season and struggled offensively ranking 21st overall(2.41 goals per game). The Bruins have also struggled offensively this season ranking 25th(2.35 goals per game) but have road Rask's elite play to a sixth overall ranking on defense. The Coyotes come in with the 21st ranked offense, 28th ranked powerplay and worst record in the Western Conference. The Sharks have also been much better at home(7-3) lead by their netminder who has a 6-3 home record with an impressive .933 save percentage.   Henrik Lundqvist FD - $9500 DK - $8600 Opponent - CAR Proj Pts FD - 19.38 DK - 4.85 King Henrik is another strong option as the Rangers are also strong favorites(-195) at home tonight. Lundy hasn't been the same dominant force he used to be but is still a rock between the pipes. He also has the benefit of the leagues top offense in front of him putting less pressure on to be perfect night in and night out. He will face a mediocre Hurricanes team who rank 20th in offense and 16th in defense but sit near the bottom of the Eastern Conference due to their poor record(3-5-4). Cam the Man Talbot is still going to have his ups and downs in the NHL, but he has proved that he can handle the load in Edmonton. The Oilers are a massive -210 favourites according to Vegas this morning and Talbot is 3-0-1 in his last 4 games. Today him and the Rangers square off against the Ottawa Senators who are 3rd worst in the league with only 2.19 goals scored per game, but they fire a decent amount of shots per game (30.7.) The Rangers have the best offense in the league, and Mike Condon should be in net today who is a huge downgrade from Craig Anderson.
