MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES John Gibson FD - $9300 DK - $8400 Opponent - COL Proj Pts FD - 19.34 DK - 4.83 The goalie position is a bit tricky today with some top end guys taking a post All-Star day off(Holtby) and some other top choices in difficult matchups against each other(Bobrovsky vs. Lundqvist). The first tender to stand to stand out when looking things over is the Ducks John Gibson who gets an elite matchup. Without even a confirmation in net, the Ducks open as huge -265 favorites to the bottom feeding Avalanche and their 30th offense and defense. Gibson was very solid leading up to the break with a 6-2-1 record, .945 save % and two shutouts in his last 10 games played. Lock him in all formats tonight! Also Consider: Carey Price (GPP) CENTERS Auston Matthews FD - $7900 DK - $7600 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 15.28 DK - 4.63 A very impressive first half to his rookie season earned him a spot on Atlantic Division All-Star team. He also took part in the skills competition and showed his deadly accuracy, beating everyone but Sidney Crosby in the target competition. He then followed it up with a goal in the three on three competition on Sunday. From a DFS perspective, he is an elite play at the center position as he comes at a slight discount from the top guys and is very safe with shot volume ranking 10th overall in shot attempts per 60 minutes(20.3). Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 1/26/17 Welcome back for another night of daily fantasy hockey with DFSR. Tonight we have a huge 13 game slate as it will be the last night of action before the All Star weekend. Let's dig in and take a look at some of the top values from the projection system. Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Mike Condon FD - $8400 DK - $8300 Opponent - CGY Proj Pts FD - 16.35 DK - 4.09 Mik Condon and the Senators are not the biggest favorites but Condon is definitely in the conversation as top goalie tonight. Even with a few poor performances lately, he has ran really good going 6-1-1 in his last eight starts including shutouts of the Capitals and Blue Jackets. Tonight the Sens are at home as -140 favorites to the struggling Flames who have dropped four straight while being outscored 20-7. Ouch! He is safe in all formats in this matchup tonight. Mike Smith FD - $7900 DK - $7400 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 15.27 DK - 3.82 If you are looking for that owned option that could take you to GPP glory tonight, look no further than Mie Smith. This marks the first time this season I have recommended a Coyotes goalie and no I haven't gone insane....well all the way. I think you have to be a little insane to play and have success in GPP's as you have to think outside the box to separate yourself. The good part about Smith is that he faces a ton of shots(34.8/60) which gives him a very high floor and a ton of upside should he actually stop most of them. I look to Smith tonight mainly due to the matchup vs. the Canucks who have really struggled on the road this year(6-14-3) and rank outside the Top 25 in offense. Also Consider: Devan Dubnyk(MIN) CENTERS Auston...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 1/25/17 Hello hockey fans and welcome to another awesome day in the NHL world. It is a small four-game slate, but there is still enough action for us to enjoy. The Detroit Red Wings are the only team playing in back-to-back games. Detroit will also be playing their third game in four nights. Let's get started. Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Henrik Lundqvist FD - $8900 DK - $8200 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 18.41 DK - 4.6 King Henrik, as the hockey world calls him. He's not actually a King, so I will call him Lundqvist or Henrik. He's past his prime, but on this four-game slate, we have very few options. Lundqvist is currently the best bet for that all-important victory tonight ( -155 according to Vegas odds,) so we will consider him the safest of the bunch. He survived a not-so-good stretch for a few games and has done quite well in his last three starts. He has recorded wins in all of those games, as well as recording a shutout while allowing only four goals in the process. The Flyers are below average on offense (17th,) but they have shown that they can score goals in bunches at times. All we have here is the fact that we have to trust the Vegas odds. It's a bad night for choosing a cash game goalie, but if you insist on choosing one, then Lundqvist is your safest option. Frederik Andersen FD - $8800 DK - $7800 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 16.05 DK - 4.01 Hey Frederik, I apologize for calling you Swedish a few weeks ago in one of my articles. The current #1 Leafs' goalie was born and raised in Denmark. I absolutely love this guy's upside tonight. The Maple Leafs travel to Detroit, who lost 4-3 to the Boston Bruins last night. Also, the Red-Wings will be playing...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 1/23/17 Welcome back for another night of daily fantasy hockey with DFSR. Monday brings us six games including three of theTop 10 offenses. Just one team is on a back to back(NYR) with just one playing a third game in four nights(CAR). Let's get started! GOALIES Braden Holtby FD - $9600 DK - $8200 Opponent - CAR Proj Pts FD - 19.19 DK - 4.8 The Capitals are playing some of their best hockey right since the Christmas break winning nine of 11 games and have yet to lose in regulation. The should be able to keep that trend alive tonight in a home matchup vs. the Hurricanes who are playing a third game in four nights. The Caps open as big -200 favorites and should have their #1 goalie between the pipes tonight. Holtby bounced back after being pulled in an end to end 80's style shootout vs. the Pens last week and has now 7-0-1 in his last 10 starts with a .935 save % and three shutouts. Roll him out in all formats tonight. Also Consider: Ondrej Pavelec(WPG) **GPP Only** CENTERS Nicklas Backstrom FD - $6900 DK - $6800 Opponent - CAR Proj Pts FD - 14.14 DK - 4.36 Backstrom has been on an absolute tear lately as the Caps have scored a whopping 50goals in their last 10 games played. What's been more impressive is that the have done this against teams like Columbus, Pittsburg x2, Chicago, St. Louis and Montreal. Individually, Backstrom has 16 points himself in those last 10 games and although he is normally not considered for cash games due to low shot volume, he ca't be faded in any format right now. Stack with: Alex Ovechkin, T.J. Oshie Vincent Trocheck FD - $6800 DK - $6100 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 13.59 DK - 4.32 Trocheck...
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 1/22/17
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 1/22/17 Welcome back daily fantasy hockey fans and DFSR junkies. We have another split slate on Sunday with two games(NYR vs DET, BOS vs PIT) in the early afternoon followed by another four starting at 5:00 p.m. ET tonight. Looking at the two sites, FanDuel has their "All Day" slate while Draftkings only offer an "Early" slate or "Main" slate today. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create linueps with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Marc-Andre Fleury FD - $8700 DK - $8300 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 21.09 DK - 5.27 The Penguins come in as the biggest favorite(-150) on the early slate and one of the biggest of the entire day. With Murra having made three straight starts, it should be Fleury back between the pipes today to face te struggling Bruins. Fleury has not been on top of his game lately losing two straight after his five-game win streak was snapped but he has been elite at home this season. In 14 starts on home ice Fleury has an 11-2-1 record with .924 save % and two shutouts. He is fine in cash games in an early slate scenario but I would reserve for GPP if you are playing an All Day contest. Corey Crawford FD - $9000 DK - $8100 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 18.4 DK - 4.6 Scott Darling FD - $8600 DK - $8000 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 18.8 DK - 4.7 It's too early for goalie confirmations so I list both options as the Blackhawks are in a great spot tonight as big home favorites(-210) to the visiting Canucks. Crawford has struggled lately giving up three or more goals in five of his last six starts so it very well could be the red hot Scott Darling tonight. He is coming off a 30 save shutout of the Bruins and has only allowed two goals in his last 74 shots against. Darling has...
