MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Matthew Murray FD - $9300 DK - $8200 Opponent - WPG Proj Pts FD - 18.64 DK - 4.66 Leading things off tonight is Mr. Murray who has been playing lights out since the All-Star break. He is coming off a 29 save shutout of the Canucks on Tuesday and has won four of his last five starts while stopping 149 of 157 shots he has faced for an impressive .949 save percentage. The Pens are also one of the biggest favorites(-220) of the night at home to the Jets. There is a little risk as the Jets do rank inside the Top 10 in offense but have been a slightly better team on home ice this season. Murray is a go in all formats tonight. **UPDATE: Fleury is starting and is also a great play tonight. ** Jake Allen FD - $8200 DK - $8100 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 18.1 DK - 4.53 After a bit of a slow start to the season for both the team and Allen, both have bounced back nicely in the month of February. The Blues have won five straight and six of seven games this month. Allen has been between the pipes for five of those games and has gone 4-1 while stopping 142 of 149 shots for an elite .953 save percentage. The Blues are one of the two teams playing a back to back but come in as -190 favorites at home to the struggling Canucks. His best value is on...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/14/17 Welcome back for another exciting night of daily fantasy hockey with your friends at DFSR. Tonight we have a nice seven-game slate where every single home team comes in as the favorite. There is just one team playing a back to back but six teams(COL, VAN, BUF, NYI, DAL, ARI) playing a third game in four nights. Let's dive in and take a look at some of the top plays from our projections system. Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Craig Anderson FD - $8500 DK - $8000 Opponent - BUF Proj Pts FD - 16.8 DK - 4.2 It is almost impossible to not pull for this guy right now. He has spent the previous two months away from the team as his wife deals with an unfortunate Cancer battle. The Senators rallied around him last Saturday in his return has they shutout the New York Islanders at home. Anderson was terrific and appeared to feed off the home fans saving all 33 shots he faced. He will be back in net tonight, once again at home, to face a Sabres team that ranks 24th in offense and has been worse on the road. Anderson is safe in all formats. Cory Schneider FD - $8400 DK - $8100 Opponent - COL Proj Pts FD - 17.93 DK - 4.48 Anytime Cory Schneider is on home ice he can be considered in daily fantasy. The Devils sit right near the basement of the Eastern Conference which automatically makes him a GPP only play but there is some upside. He has been decent lately going 5-2-2 with a .922 save % and has a 11-6-3 home record with two shutouts. While the Devils have been bad, the Avalanche have been worse ranking dead last in offense and defense this season. Also Consider: Matt Murray(PIT) CENTERS **Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid are both...
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/11/17
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/11/17 Welcome back hockey lovers! We have a huge day on tap with 13 games total games on the schedule. There are five matinee games followed by eight games on the main slate. Let's dive in and take a look at some of the top plays from each slate. Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Early Slate Pekka Rinne FD - $9100 DK - $8300 Opponent - FLA Proj Pts FD - 18.8 DK - 4.7 The Bruins are bigger favorites today but I like the matchup for the Predators just a bit more in the early slate. They open as -160 favorites vs. the visiting Florida Panthers who rank 26th in defense and sit under .500 on the road after losing each of their last four away from Florida. Rinne doesn't get the benefit of a high powered offense so the win-loss record can be suspect at times but he has won two of his last three while only allowing three total goals. He is safe in all formats. Main Slate Henrik Lundqvist FD - $8800 DK - $8500 Opponent - COL Proj Pts FD - 19.71 DK - 4.93 From the most expensive goalie on the early slate to the most expensive on the main slate. King Henrik has bounced back in a big way in the second half winning four straight games while stopping 142 of 150 shots(.947 save %). He isn't confirmed at the time of writing this but is a near lock as he is just one win away from hitting the 400 win milestone and gets an elite matchup to do so vs. the Avalanche. The win would put him just one win behind Chris Osgood for 11th all-time and three behind Grant Fuhr for a spot inside the Top 10. Also Consider: Marc-Andre Fleury/Matt Murray(PIT) CENTERS Early Slate Patrice Bergeron FD - $7100 DK - $6700 Opponent - VAN Proj...
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/9/17
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/9/17 Welcome back for another night of daily fantasy hockey with DFSR. I hope you spent your Wednesday building PGA or NBA lineups as the hockey slate was a bit a different with just one game. The sites tried getting us to play a two-day slate which was viable on Draftkings but risky if you play on Fanduel with no late swap. Either way, it's over now and we can move on to a real slate. Let's dive right in and take a look at some of the top plays. GOALIES Sergei Bobrovsky FD - $8500 DK - $8300 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 17.44 DK - 4.36 After an excellent first half of the season followed by an All-Star appearance, Bob struggled to regain form. He lost his first two games after the ASB, giving up eight goals but bounced back in his last start where he stopped 24 of 26 shots in a 3-2 win over Detroit. He gets one of the best matchups of the night vs. the Canucks who have struggled on the road all season(6-16-3) and rank 8th overall in offense. Lock Bob in all formats with a mid $8K price tag. Henrik Lundqvist FD - $8700 DK - $8100 Opponent - NAS Proj Pts FD - 19.02 DK - 4.75 Even with how well King Henrik has been playing lately, he should be slightly under owned tonight with so many excellent options. The Rangers are small -128 favorites at home to the Predators who rank inside the Top 15 in offense and inside the Top 10 in defense. Lundqvist appears to have turned his season around after a very inconsistent first half. He has won three straight games out of the ASB, stopping 108 of 113 shots(.955 save %). Another positive is that the Preds average right around 31 shots for/60 which...
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/7/17
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/7/17 Welcome back for another night of daily fantasy hockey. After two very small slates on Sunday and Monday, we get a big 11 game slate tonight with just three teams(BUF, TOR, STL) playing on a back to back. There should be a ton of offense as well as eight of the Top 10 offense's are in action with some tasty matchups. Let's dive right in and take a look at some of the top plays. GOALIES Braden Holtby FD - $9700 DK - $8600 Opponent - CAR Proj Pts FD - 19.19 DK - 4.8 After Grubaeur picked up the shutout win in Washington's last game, we should see Holtby back in net tonight vs. the Hurricanes. He should be well rested as he hasn't made more tan two straight starts since the beginning of January. He has been very consistent since the calendar flipped to 2017 as he has won 12 of his last 14 starts with three shutouts. Tonight the Caps and their #1 defense get a matchup vs. the Canes and their 17th ranked offense. Although the Canes have won three straight, they really struggle on the road(7-14-6) scoring more than two goals just once in their last eight road games. Holtby is safe in all formats. Matthew Murray FD - $9200 DK - $7700 Opponent - CGY Proj Pts FD - 18.95 DK - 4.74 If you are looking for a little saving at the goalie position tonight, get Murray in your lineups in an elite home matchup. He should also be well rested as Marc-Andre Fleury got the start and win in the Pens last game. Murray is the clear #1 option in Pittsburgh despite a few struggles pre All-Star break. He obviously didn't let those struggles get to him as he came out of the break winning two straight games, stopping 65 of 70 shots he faced....
