Carey Price is back in elite status after a very up and down December through February. In nine starts since the calendar flipped to March, he has gone 7-2 with a sub 2.00 GAA and impressive .939 save percentage. The matchup isn't perfect as the Habs draw the Stars and their 11th ranked offense but they have now been eliminated from playoff contention and have scored two goals or less in eight of their last 12 games. The Habs are also not the biggest favorite tonight which should help steer some ownership in other directions. He has been a backup for his entire career and only finished with a winning record once in 12 years(more than 5 starts). Elliot is an elite play in all formats today so roster him confidence.   Jake Allen FD - $8800 DK - $8300 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 19.8 DK - 4.95 Allen and the Blues are also a massive -270 favorite today as they host the Coyotes and their  27th ranked defense. Like Elliot, Allen started the season off slow but has come on very strong lately. He suffered a loss to the Flames last game, but before that, he won three in a row as he allowed only three goals while earning a shutout. In his last 10 games, he has only allowed 15 goals to go along with two shutouts. Saturday nights always take me back to when I was a kid watching Hockey Night in Canada with my dad. I can still hear that theme song in my head. I can really tell I am getting old watching that video as it has been years now since CBC sold the rights to that song. Oh well, nothing better than a little dip back into the past. On to hockey. He is having another fantastic season and sits top five in almost every statistical category. My problem with Holtby in the past was his shots against which really limited his floor but a peak into his recent starts tells a much more warming story. He has won three straight starts and has faced 29 or more shots against in each game. Tonight he faces the Coyotes and their 27th ranked offense.
