MAKE NHL and MLB LINEUPS NOW! TOP GOALIE OF THE DAY Carey Price FD - $8900 DK - $8000 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 14.34 DK - 3.58 The Vegas odds currently have the Rangers listed as -110 favorites to win this game and tie the series. That is mainly because this game will be played in New York. Well, Montreal loves travelling to Manhattan as they won both regular season meetings there this season and they won easily last game by a score of 3-1. Price was about two minutes away from a shut-out. All three home teams are currently small favorites to win today and even though Talbot has two shutouts in a row, I don't see him shutting the Sharks down in the shark tank again this evening. Montreal is out-playing New York right now and look for Price and the Habs to come away with another road victory. The superstar goalie has faced an average of 30 shots per game this series while allowing only five goals in three games.   MONTREAL CANADIENS VS. NEW YORK RANGERS MTL Offense (15th) vs. NYR Defense (12th) NYR Offense (4th) vs. MTL Defense (5th) Series Update - MTL 2-1 Like I mentioned above, the Canadiens are playing better hockey than the Rangers right now and they are firing on all cylinders. The Rangers looked out of place and if not for a late goal, they would have been blanked last game. Montreal's top two lines are showing great chemistry and Lundqvist looks like he's wearing down between the pipes for New York. Even if the Rangers score a couple of goals, you just don't know where they will come...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 4/17/17 Week two of the NHL playoffs starts tonight with another four-game slate. All four series will be switching cities with the Nashville gaining the biggest advantage so far, winning both games in Chicago. The Ducks took both games at home vs. the Flames while the Capitals/Leafs and Bruins/Senators split their first two games. After a low scoring start to almost every series, we have seen a shift with a ton more scoring the past few nights so buckle and lock in those line stacks, specifically the powerplay lines. Let's dig in and take a look at a game by game breakdown and some of the top plays for Monday.     Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new MLB DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal MLB lineu, s and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create MLB lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. MAKE NHL and MLB LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE TO TARGET Pekka Rinne FD - $8700 DK - $8100 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 15.52 DK - 3.53 Hard not to like a guy who has made all 58 saves in the first two games. Not just against anyone either. The Blackhawks are one of the top offensive teams in the league and also have one of the most experienced playoff resumes of all 16 teams. Bad news for the Blackhawks the Preds have been a better team at home this season and so has Rinne. He had a .43 GAA advantage vs. the road and recorded his only three regular season shutouts on home ice. He has also been sub 10% owned both nights in the $4 Forecheck. BOSTON BRUINS VS. OTTAWA SENATORS BOS Offense (16th) vs. OTT Defense (9th) OTT Offense (19th) vs. BOS Defense (10th) Series Update - Tied 1-1 In what started to be a close checking game in game two, turned out to be a high scoring affair. The teams traded goals halfway through the second period before the Bruins would take control with a 3-1 lead heading into the third period. They were unable to close, however, as Ottawa would grab...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 4/16/17 Hello hockey fans and welcome to another day of NHL playoff action here at DFSR. We have four games on tap for today with one game (Min vs. Stl) taking place in the afternoon. We have some good action happening so far so let's take a look at some picks shall we?     Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. MAKE NHL and MLB LINEUPS NOW! MINNESOTA WILD VS. ST. LOUIS BLUES MIN Offense (2nd) vs. STL Defense (18th) STL Offense (14th) vs. MIN Defense (4th) Series Update - STL 2-0 Here we have our matinee game and there is an all-day slate on both sites. The Blues won the first two games in a very tough atmosphere in Minnesota and now they travel home to play the next two games. I said before the playoffs started that St. Louis was my upset pick of the first round and they aren't letting me down so far. After being out-shot 52-26 in the first game, they tightened up on defense and Minnesota only out-shot them 24-22 last game. The Wild won't go down without a fight though and it should be another close game today. Jake Allen FD - $8900 DK - $7900 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 14.96 DK - 3.74 The Blues are currently only -110 favorites to win today, but Allen faced 76 shots in the first two games, so even if the Wild pull away with a victory, he should still exceed value. I personally think that the Blues are currently too strong for Minnesota and they will go up 3-0 in the series. Allen has only allowed two goals so far in both games and he is my favorite goalie in all formats today. Jaden Schwartz FD - $6400 DK - $5800 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 12.48 DK - 3.54 This guy is too cheap on both sites considering his current production as he plays with Vladimir Tarasenko...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 4/15/17 Welcome back for another slate of playoff hockey with the DFSR team. Saturday brings us four games, one of which(BOS vs. OTT) will take place in the afternoon. We will continue to provide a game by game breakdown with our favorite plays. Let's dig in. BOSTON BRUINS VS. OTTAWA SENATORS BOS Offense (16th) vs. OTT Defense (9th) OTT Offense (19th) vs. BOS Defense (10th) Series Update - BOS 1-0 Now we are cooking with fire. The NHL playoffs and an afternoon sweat on Saturday are just what the doctor ordered if that doctor was me, of course. The Bruins made it through the second period where they didn't record a shot then capitalized on forechecking with two goals in the third period to take a one-game lead in the series. The win on the on road should be a huge boost for the Bruins going into this game but I still expect a low scoring affair. If you do decide to get some skin in on the all-day slate, let's ake a look at some of the top plays from each team.   Patrice Bergeron FD - $7300 DK - $7100 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 13.44 DK - 4.02 I love the top line for Boston on so many levels. All three of them skated over 20 minutes(Pastrnak was actually 19:55) in game one and over four minutes each on the powerplay. I lean Bergeron over Marchand for one reason. Marchand can't get points from the penalty box and Bergeron just doesn't go to the sin bin. He struggled during the regular season with just one point in four games vs. the Sens but picked up an assist already in game one with two shots and a block. Ryan Spooner FD - $4000 DK - $3500 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 7.52 DK - 2.33 If you are looking for a...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 4/14/17 Hello, hockey fans and welcome to another awesome day of NHL playoff hockey. We have four games today and all of the teams are playing their second game of the first round. We have some nice picks in-store for you today so let's get started.   Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! NEW YORK RANGERS VS. MONTREAL CANADIENS MTL Offense (4th) vs. NYR Defense (5th) NYR Offense (15th) vs. MTL Defense (12th) NYR Leads Series 1-0 It is going to be hard for the Habs to win when they can't score goals. The Rangers won the first game 2-0 with the second goal being an empty netter. The teams both fired 31 shots on the opposing goalie, so we could have a higher scoring game today. On that note, both goalies played exceptional as they usually do, so that makes both offenses very hard to target from a fantasy perspective.   Max Pacioretty FD - $7400 DK - $7100 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 15.29 DK - 4.45 I'm staying far away from this game in cash games, but I do like a couple of guys for GPP's, especially if they happen to score a pile of goals. Stranger things have happened. Pacioretty had five shots on goal in the first game of the series. He plays on the top line and the #1 PP unit and has arguably the most upside of anyone. Derek Stepan FD - $5700 DK - $6100 Opponent - MON Proj Pts FD - 10.27 DK - 3.01 Here we have another guy who plays on the top line and #1 PP unit for his team. He logged 19 minutes of ice-time last game which was five minutes more than the second-line center, Mike Zibanejad. If Carey Price has a bad game, look for Stepan to show up on the scoresheet.     COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS VS. PITTSBURGH PENGUINS CBJ Offense...
