Guards Tyrese Haliburton FD - $10200 DK - $9800 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 49.01 DK - 51.63 While the Pacers are probably not going to make the play-in for the tournament, there is a glimmer of hope and his name is Haliburton. In all seriousness, he has come out of the gates red-hot in the second half averaging a double-double on 27.6 points and 12.2 assists and has provided an average of over 55 fantasy points a game. Tonight he faces a Rockets team that has lost five of seven since the break, ranks 29th in defensive efficiency and dead last in fantasy points to the guard position. Fire up Haliburton as a core play in all formats. Jalen Green FD - $6800 DK - $6400 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 31.77 DK - 35.24 There are a ton of good matchups on this slate but it will be hard to not get as much exposure as possible to this Rockets/Pacers game with a 235.5 total with both teams ranking outside the Top 25 in defence. The Rockets will be without Kevin Porter tonight and that only elevates how consistent Jalen Green has been over the last month. That is tough to say for a shooting-dependent guard but it's true and even despite two complete duds is still averaging 33 fantasy points over his last 10 games. That is a solid floor at these prices and he should provide some upside here as well as he sees about a 3-4% bump in usage with Porter off the floor and goes from a 1.01 DK points per minute player to a 1.09 per minute player. Fire up Green in all formats. Mikal Bridges FD - $9000 DK - $8500 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 38.78 DK - 40.68 The Nets have started to roll and have created a three-game buffer on Miami for the final playoff spot(non-play-in spot) and newly acquired Mikal Bridges has played a huge role in that success. He has especially seen an increased role over the last three games where he has taken 20+ shots, dropped 30+ points, and averaged 51.7 DraftKings points. He will now make his first start with the Nets with Spencer Dinwiddie out and despite a tougher matchup against the Bucks, should continue to see an increase...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Tyus Jones FD - $7500 DK - $4900Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 38.31 DK - 40.76 Desmond Bane FD - $8200 DK - $7700Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 47.12 DK - 50.92 Ja Morant is still away from the Memphis Grizzlies and that’s shaping up to be a longer-term thing than a quick couple of days hiatus. It means that these guards will continue to be plays even with the price climbing in the short term. Considering Ja Morant has a whopping 37% usage rate on the season, there are some shots to fill in here. Bane is coming off a 22-shot performance on against the Clippers on Sunday and his usage rate climbs to 28.4% with Morant off the court this season. He’s a fantastic play at these prices. And then there is Tyus Jones who has a 30% assist rate with Morant out of the mix this season and gets the usage up to 19% as well. His price is on the rise, but remember, he’s coming off a 25-point, 12-assist game of his own. He’s set to play big minutes going forward considering how thin the Grizzlies now are in the backcourt. Stephen Curry FD - $9500 DK - $10100Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 51.01 DK - 56.4 Stephen Curry returned from injury on Sunday, stepping in to play 32 minutes right out of the game. He struggled a bit from the field, going 8-20 and 5-13 from three. But this is Curry we are talking about so there’s no real reason to sweat short-term results. He’ll get a good matchup against the Thunder here who play fast and the Warriors have a 120 implied total. Curry’s FanDuel price makes it pretty easy to fit him into lineups and we are buying a bit low. If Jalen Brunson is out again then Immanuel Quickley (FD 7300 DK 5000) makes for a lock DraftKings play. He’s coming off a monster game against the Celtics on Sunday. Alec Burks (FD 5000 DK 4100) would be an option once again if Killian Hayes sat out for the second game in a row. Small Forward...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Monday 3/6

Guards Damian Lillard FD - $10800 DK - $11600 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 55.73 DK - 58.18 The Trail Blazers are playing on a back-to-back tonight but we just can't ignore Lillard who checks every box for an elite-priced guard. As good as he has been all season, he has been on another level since the start of February(13 games) averaging 38.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 6.5 assists for just over 59 fantasy points per game. He runs heavy minutes, gets a consistent dose of 20+ shots and now gets an elite matchup against the Pistons' 28th-ranked defence that is also 27th in fantasy points to guards. Lock and load in all formats. Tyrese Maxey FD - $6800 DK - $5500 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 31.02 DK - 33.65 Maxey has been terrific since re-entering the starting lineup for the 76ers dropping 26 or more points in all three games and averaging over 36 fantasy points over his last four games. Sure, he is running hot as a shooting-dependant guard but even with Harden and Embiid in the mix is getting over 16 shots a game and it's hard to argue the matchup against the Pacers who are 23rd in defensive efficiency and 22nd in fantasy points to guards. With the rising price on FanDuel I am probably out but on DraftKings where the price has barely budged I am all over Maxey in all formats. Tyler Herro FD - $7800 DK - $7300 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 36.18 DK - 40.16 With Kyle Lowry out since early February the Heat have been playing sub .500 basketball and have fallen in the standings. For fantasy, however, Tyler Herro has filled in nicely in Lowry's absence playing over 37 minutes a game and is averaging 20.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists over that 10-game stretch while providing over 35 fantasy points a game. The poor shooting at times can lead to some volatility in those fantasy scores but he gets a terrific matchup against a Hawks team that is outside the Top 20 in defence and runs at a Top 10 pace. Fire up Herro in all formats. Small Forward Cam Reddish FD - $5500 DK - $4300 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 25.22 DK - 25.3 After sitting for...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 3/5

Posted by on Mar 5, 2023 in Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks, DraftKings NBA Picks, FanDuel NBA Picks, featured |

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 3/5/23 We always love the NBA but man, is this season getting exciting! We have 10 teams within 5.5 games of one another in the Western Conference, and those clubs could finish anywhere between fourth and 13th. That's hard to believe with fewer than 20 games remaining, and it means anything can happen over these closing six weeks. With that in mind, let's start with a point guard for one of those battling teams! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Jordan Clarkson FD - $6900 DK - $7300 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 33.68 DK - 35.66 Clarkson can be a frustrating player to watch at times, but this guy deserves some credit for what he's done this year. JC has been considered a volatile bench scorer throughout his career, but he's done a wonderful job as Utah's starting point guard. Clarkson is averaging 34 DraftKings points per game this season, setting career highs across the board. What makes him so intriguing here is the fact that Utah is so shorthanded, trading away Mike Conley at the deadline and losing Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton to injuries. That means JC could be looking at 35 minutes, 20 shots, and a usage rate north of 30 percent! It's not like the Thunder are a terrifying matchup, with Clarkson collecting 37 DK points in their one matchup. Tyus Jones FD - $6000 DK - $3100 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 33.11 DK - 33.39 Ja Morant can't seem to go in public without waving a gun around, so, he's going to be suspended for the next two games. Anytime Morant is sidelined, Jones is always one of the best streamers out there. Tyus always starts at PG when Morant is sidelined, scoring at least 34 DraftKings points in eight of the nine starts he's made this year. That's no surprise since Jones averaged 30 DK points per game in 23 starts last year. That makes this DraftKings price laughable, especially since Memphis is missing Steven Adams, Dillon Brooks, and Brandon Clarke as well. The Clippers sound like a scary matchup on the surface, but they have a bottom-five defense since the All-Star break. Dennis Schröder...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday 3/4

Guards Donovan Mitchell FD - $10000 DK - $9300 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 46.45 DK - 49.63 The Cavs tightened up the rotation on Wednesday which led to some massive minutes for the starters including Mitchell who played 44 minutes and led the team with an insane 32 shots. He also delivered on that usage, shooting over 53% from the field and delivering his fifth 50+ fantasy point game in his last seven. Despite the red-hot play, the price still is not back up where it should be considering the elite matchup against the Pistons who rank 28th in defensive efficiency and in fantasy points against guards. Fire up Mitchell as a core play in all formats. Tyrese Maxey FD - $6600 DK - $5400 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 28.47 DK - 31.07 Maxey re-entered the starting lineup over the last two games and has been phenomenal dropping 22 of 38 shots(58%) from the field and against some tough competition in Dallas and Miami. While I am not expecting a near-ceiling game against the Bucks here, we don't necessarily need it on DraftKigns where the price has barely budged up over $5K. There is always risk with these shooting-dependant guards but at this price on a smaller slate, we can afford to take that risk, especially on DraftKings. Devonte' Graham FD - $5100 DK - $4500 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 21.69 DK - 22.35 The minutes have been up and down for Graham since joining the Spurs but the opportunity is on the rise as he is expected to get his second consecutive start on Saturday. From a PTS/$ perspective, he has been very good providing 20+ fantasy points in seven of eight games with his new team and has two performances of 35+ including last game against the Pacers where he drew the start. This is also arguably the best matchup on the board here as the Rockets are 29th in defensive efficiency and dead last in fantasy points allowed to guards. If starting, I will have exposure to Graham in all formats. Small Forward Keita Bates-Diop FD - $5300 DK - $5200 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 25.75 DK - 26.92 The Spurs' value is most definitely going to be chalky once again tonight as Johnson, Vasseell, and...
