DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 11/23
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 11/23/22 The injury reports are laughable right now. You could scroll through this lengthy player pool and count over 100 players on the injury report. There are some big-name players too, and we anticipate more getting ruled out before the 7ET buzzer. Denver, Detroit, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and Sacramento are all playing the second half of a back-to-back set, which will cause more mayhem to an already chaotic slate. We're going to bank on some of those absences, so let's get started with the greatest shooter of all time! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Stephen Curry FD - $10400 DK - $10800 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 50.18 DK - 52.79 Chef Curry has been playing a different game recently. The greatest shooter of all time has at least 40 DraftKings points in all but one game, with the one stinker being a 37-point blowout. That means his season average is nearly 60 DK points per game in the other 15 outings, averaging 32.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.2 steals. That's the most stat-stuffing we've ever seen from this former MVP, and we're not worried about him facing a Clippers defense that's missing Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Curry has also scored at least 63 fantasy points in three of his last six matchups with LA. De'Anthony Melton FD - $7400 DK - $7600 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 41.8 DK - 41.23 It feels weird to recommend Melton at this price, but it's impossible to fade this guy under these circumstances. Philadelphia has lost Tyrese Maxey, James Harden, and Joel Embiid to injuries, leaving Melton as the primary ball-handler. That's awesome for a guy who's been a per-minute stud throughout his career, averaging 1.3 DK points per minute. This increased role has led to Melton scoring 43 and 48 DK points in the last two games without those guys. We expect him to reach that 40-point total again here, with Charlotte sitting 19th in points allowed. As long as Melton plays the 35-40 minutes we anticipate, he should be at least $8K on both sites. Shake Milton (FD $6000 DK $5500) has at least 29 DK points in three straight...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Bones Hyland FD - $6500 DK - $6700Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 40.04 DK - 43.91 The Nuggets are going to be without Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray again in this game, meaning we should see a lot of minutes from Bones Hyland once more. Mike Malone has wanted to keep his bench rotations relative similar to start games, so Hyland isn’t likely to run with the first unit, but the minutes should be there. Last game, he played 35 minutes and scored 29 points on 10-21 shooting while also adding six assists. He gets a great matchup against the Pistons and the price hasn’t climbed enough for the new opportunity. Shake Milton FD - $5800 DK - $5300Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 28.15 DK - 32.17M De'Anthony Melton FD - $7400 DK - $7500Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 40.13 DK - 41.9 The 76ers are without James Harden, Tyrese Maxey, and now Joel Embiid which has set the team back considerably to start the season. But their loss is our DFS gain with these two guards now in prime opportunity to pile on points at value pricing. While both De'Anthony Melton and Shake Milton have seen their salaries jump a bit in the short term, neither is priced where their opportunity is with Philly right now. Last game, Milton played 38 minutes and scored 27 points on 10-15 shooting while also adding six rebounds. Meanwhile, Melton took the most shots on the team with 16 and scored 19 points total. He also added six assists, five rebounds, and five steals. The way he contributes across the stat line gives him a high floor even at these elevated price points. With Tobias Harris back in them for this game, the guard usage could dip just a little, but not enough to warrant a fade with the way the 76ers have been decimated by injury. Tyus Jones FD - $5900 DK - $5900Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 32 DK - 34.73 There is a ton of guard value on this slate thanks to a number of injuries...

Guards Tyrese Haliburton FD - $9100 DK - $9400 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 44.42 DK - 47.81 For the second straight game, these teams will go head to head and Saturday's meeting was full of fantasy explosion led by Haliburton who had a game-high 59.5 DraftKings points. It is nothing new as he has been incredibly consistent all season averaging 20.6 points, 10.5 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game. He is a terrific play on both sites but gets a boost on DraftKings where we get those bonuses as Haliburton has tallied a double-double in nine of 15 games this season and in terms of providing a floor has tallied 40 or more DK points in 14 of 15 games! Get Haliburton in your lineup in all formats on Monday. Anfernee Simons FD - $8100 DK - $7400 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 32.38 DK - 36.29 Simons has been a solid option all season and even better when Lillard has been out which he will be once again tonight so that and a price that is trending back down from season highs has him firmly on our radar Monday. He is coming off a season-high performance against the Jazz and with Lillard in the lineup, has taken 19 or more shots in three of his last four. In the three games he played without Lillard earlier he averaged just over 45 fantasy points a game which is a PTS/$ steal on this slate, regardless of the tougher matchup. I will have exposure in all formats. Jalen Suggs FD - $6600 DK - $6300 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 35.1 DK - 37.89 Even with the Magic being short-handed to start the season, Suggs remained inconsistent up until this past week when he started seeing an increase in usage. Over the last three games, he has seen consistent minutes in the mid-30's, taken an average of 15 shots, and produced a very balanced return with 19.3 points, 7.3 assists, and 5.3 rebounds for an average of 40 DK points per game. That success should continue on Monday against the Pacers who are 6th in pace and 22nd in defensive efficiency on the season. Fire up Suggs in all formats. Small Forward Jayson Tatum FD - $10200 DK - $10600 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday 11/19

Guards Tyrese Haliburton FD - $8900 DK - $9000 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 43.89 DK - 44.71 Haliburton checks all the boxes for me tonight which has him right there with Damian Lillard as top guard in our projections. I lean slightly towards Haliburton as he comes cheaper, and especially on DraftKings where his best value lies as he has tallied the double-double bonus in eight of 13 games. He is also averaging a double-double on the season with 20.6 points and 10.4 assists which has helped him to also tally 40 or more DK points in 12 of 13 games and 45 or more in eight of those. Both teams are on a back-to-back and rank outside the Top 20 in defensive efficiency so I am expecting a high-scoring game where Haliburton can easily hit his floor projection and tap into the upside as well. Jalen Suggs FD - $6200 DK - $5900 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 29.16 DK - 29.85 Since entering the starting lineup back in early November Suggs has been consistent when looking at his averages(13.7 reb/4.0 reb/6.3 ast) but the standard deviation is much higher than say, Haliburton. He can give you 20 points or 50 on any given night and I kind of like taking those shots with a player in the mid-range. This is also a pace-up matchup for the Magic as the Pacers run the league's second-fastest pace and rank 23rd in fantasy points to guards. I will personally have exposure to Suggs in all formats tonight. Shake Milton FD - $3600 DK - $3100 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 18.09 DK - 19.66 This is a situation we will have to monitor leading up to lock but the 76ers are already short at guard with James Harden out and unfortunately also lost Tyrese Maxey to a foot injury last night. With him getting an MRI today, he is unlikely to play and that will open up some minutes and opportunities. Shake took over last night playing 31 minutes and putting up 15 points, six assists, and three rebounds for 28 fantasy points. That return is fully in play here should he get the start tonight which would easily make him one of our top PTS.$ value plays on the slate. Small Forward Keldon Johnson...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $10800 DK - $9900Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 52.94 DK - 54.46 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is just on another level right now. He’s scored 30+ points in seven of his last nine games and for the time being is a 50/40/90 guy, about as efficient as it gets. SGA is one, and really the main reason OKC could have some “trouble” tanking this season. He’s just been too good. Now he’ll face off against the Grizzlies in a game that has the second-highest implied total of the day. This game should be a high-scoring affair and for the month of November, SGA is averaging 33 points, 5.3 assists, 4.2 assists, and a crazy 3.3 blocks+steals. It’s the full package and he’s coming too cheap on DraftKings. Ja Morant FD - $10100 DK - $10500Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 53.85 DK - 58.12 Ja Morant somehow seems to be taking yet another leap this season following the massive one he took last year. It’s really something and the fourth-year superstar is putting up some eye-popping numbers. He’s averaging 29.3 points per game and has been shooting 40% from behind the arc, the last piece of the puzzle in making him basically an unstoppable offensive talent. He’s also piled on the assists and in this game will play a Thunder team running the 4th-fastest pace in the league. Stacking SGA and Ja where possible should have a very high floor even at their upper-tier prices. Bones Hyland FD - $5800 DK - $5000Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 35.58 DK - 40.13 The Nuggets are coming in pretty shorthanded for this game with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray already ruled out. That’s going to leave some bench guys to pick up the slack and Bones Hyland is in a tremendous spot. He’s slated to get the start at point guard and is a candidate to lead the team in usage here against the Mavericks. Even in somewhat limited run (25 minutes per game) over the last four, he’s averaging 14 shots and putting up 19 points,...
