For Lillard, he has put his short-term shooting woes in the rearview coming off a monster game where he made 12 of 22 shots including a whopping nine from beyond the arc. He now faces a Timberwolves team that is playing on a back-to-back and has struggled lately giving up an average of 126 points per game over the last five games. I will have exposure to Lillard in all formats tonight. Kyrie Irving FD - $8600 DK - $8700 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 47.58 DK - 50.17 I never get too excited with Kyrie playing on a back-to-back but everything is aligning for him to be a top play once again on Saturday. First of all, he and Durant put on a show last night and now it appears Durant could sit out tonight for rest which would boost Irving even higher than the system already has him. Despite scoring 30+ in back-to-back games while adding 16 rebounds and 12 assists, Irving's price remains in the mid $8K range on both sites and he now gets a plus matchup against the Pacers who are 21st in defensive efficiency and 4th in pace. Fire up Kyrie in all formats. Jordan Clarkson FD - $6900 DK - $7600 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 33.08 DK - 37.12 Malik Beasley FD - $5000 DK - $5600 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 21.12 DK - 23.75 Nickeil Alexander-Walker FD - $4500 DK - $3100 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 21.08 DK - 21.68 The Jazz are a bit short-handed at guard with Collin Sexton out which has me grouping all three of these guys together in a spot where they could even be stacked together. They also get the best matchup of the group against the Nuggets who have lost three of four while giving up an average of 118.5 points per game and rank 27th in defensive efficiency...

On the season, Trae is rocking a 34% usage rate, but that number shoots all the way up to 44.5% with Murray off the court. He could be bombing early and often in this game against a Brooklyn Nets team that doesn’t have much in the way of point-of-attack defense and will just be working Ben Simmons back into the mix. Young’s price hasn’t been adjusted enough on FanDuel in particular. Anthony Edwards FD - $8800 DK - $9000Opponent - UTAProj Pts FD - 44.99 DK - 48.3 The Timberwolves are still without Karl-Anthony Towns and that’s led to some big time Anthony Edwards upside in the short-term. Over his last six games (not all with KAT out), Edwards is averaging 27 points, five rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 steals. That’s elite production and the price hasn’t fully caught up on either site. Now, the Timberwolves will be in a game against the Jazz which has the highest over/under on the slate (236.5). It could be an up-and-down affair and that’s good for Edwards when it comes to volume shooting. Monte Morris FD - $5500 DK - $5300Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 30.49 DK - 33.01 The Wizards can definitely be tough to trust when it comes to the minutes and this is a game we are going to want to target some. Bradley Beal remains out and last time around, Monte Morris played 37 minutes in a four-point loss to the Bulls. He took the third-most shots on the team behind Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma and finished with 17 points and eight assists. That kind of production at these prices is an easy cash game call. The issue is we just can’t always trust the Washington rotations making this a bit risky. I do still think D'Angelo Russell (FD 7100 DK 7100) is a value...

As of now, however, I am leaning toward Lillard who is sub $10K on both sites, making the building process a bit easier and more balanced to start. The shooting, especially from beyond the arc, has been atrocious in the short term but I am not concerned as he commands heavy usage in the offense(32%), averages 25.8 points and 6.9 assists per game and gets a plus matchup against a Nuggets team that is 26th in defensive efficiency. Lillard is our top projected play at the guard position and a great building block in all formats. Kevin Porter Jr. FD - $7600 DK - $7300 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 34.98 DK - 38.36 There is a ton of news to drop on this small slate and it includes Kevin Porter who has some right knee soreness but considering they haven't played since Monday, signs are pointing to him playing. That is great news as he is in a smash spot here against a Spurs team that is dead last in defensive efficiency,  7th fastest pace, and have allowed the second-most fantasy points to guards. For Porter, he has been a very consistent PTS/$ producer at these prices and that comes from providing value in multiple categories as he is averaging 19 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and a combined 1.7 blocks/steals per game on the season. Porter is my favourite PTS/$ option at the guard position tonight. Tre Jones FD - $6400 DK - $6400 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 37.03 DK - 38.92 Romeo Langford FD - $4000 DK - $3100 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 14.02 DK - 14.02 This game has the highest total(231.5) on the slate by five full points and the Rockets are not the only ones in a great spot as their own defense has struggled this season ranking 28th in defensive efficiency. Guards Stephen Curry FD - $10500 DK - $10900 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 53.32 DK - 58.72 We have another small Saturday slate with very few top-tier players which makes it easy to pencil Cury in as our top overall pick tonight. It helps this game has the highest total on the board and Steph gets to play the third-worst defence in the league in a projected fast-paced game. For Steph, he has been one of the most consistent fantasy players this season averaging 30.8 points, 7.0 assists, and 6.9 rebounds and has tallied 44 or more DraftKings points in 19 of 21 games. The only thing that could spoil the party is a blowout but on a four-game slate, I am not overly worried and will have a ton of exposure in all formats. Anfernee Simons FD - $8400 DK - $8300 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 40.24 DK - 44.41 Despite a peaking price point, Simons comes into Saturday's action checking every box and it starts with sheer volume. While Portland has struggled with Lillard out of the lineup(1-5), Simons has benefited in a big way for fantasy playing 37 or more minutes in all six games while averaging 21 shots, almost three more per game. He is not only getting the volume, he is delivering on the rising price averaging just over 42 fantasy points a game and flashing 50+ point upside multiple times. In a matchup against a Jazz team who are playing on a back-to-back, rank 24th in defensive efficiency, and 10th in pace, Simons is my top play at the guard position tonight. D'Angelo Russell FD - $6800 DK - $6800 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 38.43 DK - 41.34 From a PTS/$ standpoint, our system absolutely loves Russell in this spot as this game has the second-highest total(231) on the slate as the Timberwolves are home to the Thunder. After a slow and very inconsistent start to the season, Russell found some consistency over the last month shooting around 10% better from the field while also adding about two assists per game which has also led to three double-doubles in his last five. I am not a fan of the rising price but it is very relative to the size of the slate so I will lock...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Jordan Clarkson FD - $6600 DK - $7100Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 36.14 DK - 40.51 Collin Sexton FD - $5100 DK - $5500Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 31.11 DK - 33.79 The Jazz are likely to be popular plays on this slate going up against the Pacers at home. The game has the highest implied total on the schedule at 238.5 and that’s about five points higher than the next-closest game. While it was assumed Utah would fully be in the tank for this season, that’s been anything but the case and they are actually 13-11 with a +1.6 point differential. A big reason has been Clarkson who is averaging career highs in points (19.5 per game) and assists (4.9). Much of it has simply been from the minutes boost with starting, but we’ll take it. He’s coming at fair prices on both sites. And then there is Collin Sexton who has been getting the starts with Mike Conley out. And that’s going to be the case again in this game. His minutes ceiling isn’t as high as Clarkson’s in the backcourt, but he should be good for at least 30 in this one. He’s taken double-digit shots in each of the last three games and scored 20 or more in two of them. He’s kind of score or bust from a fantasy perspective but the price on both sites is totally fair in the lower-$5K range. Cameron Payne FD - $6000 DK - $6400Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 32.44 DK - 35.31 It hasn’t looked particularly good for Payne over the last few games even though he’s still starting for the injured Chris Paul. He hasn’t been getting up quite as many shots as before and the assists numbers have dropped as well. But on Friday he gets the Rockets who are the third-worst defense in the league while running a top-10 pace.
