FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Wednesday 1/30/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday 1/30/19 After a night in which the Lakers' starters played almost no minutes, the Wizards signaled they are in the tank and the should-be tanking Pelicans somehow beat the Rockets on the road let's hope things settle down on Wednesday. Let's break down the FanDuel and DraftKings picks for an eight-game slate. Point Guard De'Aaron Fox FD - $7800 DK - $7700 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 38.65 DK - 38.31 Fox, and the Kings, in general, have had an up and down season which at times has hit some serious peaks while also trending towards incredibly frustrating valleys. Minutes gets jacked around and their coaching leaves a lot to be desired. But on Wednesday they draw the best DFS matchup around against the Hawks who run the league’s fastest pace and play a bottom third defense. They allow about 7% more scoring than league average to opposing point guards and Fox should be looking at mid-teens shot attempts at least. He has upside if the shot is falling and the assist numbers can pile on in a high volume game. Terry Rozier FD - $6500 DK - $6100 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 31.81 DK - 32.2 Kyrie Irving has been ruled out for Wednesday and Rozier will draw another start in his place for the Celtics. The latter played 35 minutes last game against the Nets with Irving on the bench and scored 14 points while handing out seven assists and pulling down seven boards. The usage was there with 15 shots, but he ran bad from three (2-8). The price took a game-over-game climb because his ownership was, of course, through the roof last time around. I actually think he’s still a good play on both sites, but is a slightly better DraftKings pick because of the $400 savings. If Elfrid Payton sits again on Wednesday, Frank Jackson looks like a very good FanDuel and DraftKings play again. He drew the start on Tuesday against the Rockets and played well. Keep an ear out for this news. Additionally, Jerryd Bayless could make another good play if Derrick Rose is ruled out again. Jeff Teague is already out for the Timberwolves....
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – 1/29/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - 1/29/19 Tuesday in the NBA brings us plenty to ponder with injury issues possibly wreaking havoc on cash games (I’m looking at you Lakers). But there’s also a lot to like about some of the value on the slate and we’ve got you covered for FanDuel and DraftKings picks. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Rajon Rondo FD - $6900 DK - $6700 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 36.82 DK - 39.45 Since returning from the extended injury absence, Rondo has come in and played major minutes for the Lakers, something that should continue moving forward. In his first two games back, he’s averaging 39 minutes, 12 points, 12 assists and five rebounds per game. Those kinds of numbers (most importantly, the minutes) keep him once again as a cash play on Tuesday. He was overwhelming chalk on Sunday (90% or so on both sites in cash) and things are lining up that way again. The price ticked up some and the matchup against the Sixers is worse than the Suns, but Rondo’s projected minutes are about as high as you’ll see in the game right now. Tomas Satoransky FD - $6700 DK - $6000 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 32.95 DK - 32.92 Satoransky has become one of the more stable, high-minutes’ guys in the league right now because the Wizards are just dealing with a million injuries. He’s played 36 or more minutes in each of the last four games and averaged 15 points, four rebounds and nine assists in that span. He’s not going to be a high usage guy in this offense with Bradley Beal around plus some of their other wings jacking shots. But, almost like Rondo, the minutes seem about as safe as they come for a guy in the middle salary tier. Plus, he draws the dreadful Cavs in a very winnable game for Washington. At $10,600, Russell Westbrook is an excellent DraftKings’ pick. The $11,900 FanDuel salary doesn’t really jive here, but against Orlando I could see Westbrook working his way into lineups on DK. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $13900 DK - $13600 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 65.02 DK - 67.56 So much for Chris...

We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Shabazz Napier FD - $4900 DK - $4600 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 25.33 DK - 25.64 Napier was epic chalk on Friday night with the news that Spencer Dinwiddie would miss the game. Thought the former wouldn’t draw the start, the Nets do allocate a fair amount of minutes to that position off the bench. He played 28 minutes against the Knicks on Friday and finished with 18 points despite shooting only 3-13 from the field. He won’t draw a fantastic matchup against the Celtics on Monday, but the price is still in the lower middle tier for a guy who should, once again, see plenty of minutes and usage. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $3800 DK - $3800 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 22 DK - 21.56 Patrick Beverley FD - $4600 DK - $4500 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 27.55 DK - 28 The two guys are coming off another run of major minutes on Sunday that saw them both easily hit value. Beverley put up a monster line with 16 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists against the Kings. That’s an outlier game of course, but the minutes are safe for now. He’s 35 or more in each of the last five games. The stats can come and go at times because of how the Clippers roll, but I think the floor is plenty high enough against this Hawks’ team. Meanwhile, Gilgeous-Alexander’s minutes are a little more variable than Beverley’s. That will make the latter a bit more of a GPP play. He can run 22 as easy as he can see mid 30’s minutes. The game against the Kings was also a bit of an outlier seeing as how he got to the line seven times, but the Hawks offer such a great matchup that I don’t mind stacking these two guys together in cash games. Strongly consider Stephen Curry, but this does seem like a spot to save money Shooting Guard Monte Morris FD - $4100 DK - $4600 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 28.32 DK - 28.46 Jamal Murray has already been ruled for Monday’s game and we could see another...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - 1/27/19 Happy Sunday! The first one without any football since August, and we're prepared to make the most of it. We have a small but juicy two game slate in the afternoon, and then a nice fat main slate starting at 6pm. There is still a lot of injury news that we'll need to wait for as the day progresses, but let's take a look at what our lineup optimizer is seeing so far. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Early Slate Just a quick nod to the early slate before we go position by position on the late slate. There's actually a lot of value here if you can get away from the family for a bit to put a couple of lineups in. A few Bulls guys are questionable at the moment, but Chandler Hutchinson's sudden absence frees up 35 minutes for the rest of the Bulls' wings. You also get a rare game where you can actually play both sides of the Chicago/Cleveland game since the two teams should be bad enough to not blow each other out. Both the Bulls and the Cavs have shown a willingness to play their starters bigger minutes when games stay close, and both teams are bringing plenty of playable options today. Bobby Portis will almost certainly be a must play here. The Kings and Clippers are a similarly interesting spot, with guys like Nemanja Bjelica, Buddy Hield, and De'Aaron Fox playing bigger minutes again recently, and Tobias Harris filling the minutes vacuum left behind when Harrell left the starting lineup. All in all the early slate looks excellent as far as two game slates go. I'm sure we'll have plenty of folks in our members only chatroom leading up to the 3:30 PM lock, and as always you can make one-click optimal lineups by using our lineup optimizer. Let's go position by position for the main slate. Late Slate Point Guard Trey Burke FD - $3900 DK - $3900Opponent - MIAProj Pts FD - 26.48 DK - 27.06 Jerryd Bayless FD - $4200 DK - $4400Opponent - UTAProj Pts FD - 24.93 DK - 25.83 It's value central at point guard for the main slate, with both Burke and Bayless likely looking to sustain...

We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $10100 DK - $9600 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 55.09 DK - 56.47 T.J. McConnell FD - $4300 DK - $4000 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 24.11 DK - 23.24 Welcome to NBA Saturday! We have a solid five game slate on our hands with only four games on a few sites. We have plenty of injury news to go through and a ton of options at each position. The Sixers are the base of that all. Joel Embiid has already been ruled out and Jimmy Butler is doubtful. That should leave an absolute ton of usage behind for the rest of this Sixers lineup. Ben Simmons will have the ball in his hands every single possession and will fill up the stat sheet with ease. The Denver Nuggets are a poor defensive team and while they are average against opposing point guards, they'll likely be without their starter Jamal Murray (questionable). Simmons is going to dominate all night long and is the top point guard play on the slate. I would even argue he's a top play on an entire slate. If you're looking for savings, T.J. McConnell is an interesting option, particularly for big tournaments. This game will stay close and I'll have a ton of exposure. Kyrie Irving FD - $10500 DK - $9300 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 43.59 DK - 44.4 The price is definitely high at this point, but he's the only way the Celtics really stay in this game. People are looking at this like a potential Championship match-up, so all of the stars should be going all out for a big game. It's also an island game for both teams, meaning neither are in a back to back. Irving sat out last game, but looks like a full go for this one. He's been playing his best basketball of the season and is a near guarantee for 50+ fantasy points if the game is remotely close. He's taken a firm hold as the leader of this Celtics team and it looks like they're fully ready to go on their second half run preparing for the playoffs. Curry...
