FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Wednesday 2/6/19

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday 2/6/19 NBA Trade Season is in high gear right now and we woke up to overnight news that the Sixers and Clippers had pulled off a blockbuster centered around sending Tobias Harris to Philly. Today and tomorrow will no doubt have a lot more player movement and this time of year can be a crazy state of flux. Let's take a look at who is popping up as value plays for Wednesday's slate of games. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Stephen Curry FD - $9200 DK - $9100 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 48.35 DK - 51.36 The Warriors are big, -11, home favorites against the Spurs on Wednesday with DeMar DeRozan already ruled out for rest. That could lead to some problematic issues around GSW’s minutes if the game gets out of hand. But point guard is weaker on this slate and the Spurs are playing without Derrick White who’s one of their better perimeter defenders. Not that it matters all that much against a guy like Curry who incidentally is coming off his worst game in a while, a 14-point on 5-15 shooting performance in the win against the Lakers. That won’t happen often considering how’ he’s daggered most teams this season. Again, the only real concern I have is the possibility of a blowout because of how high-powered the Warriors are right now. Jalen Brunson FD - $4100 DK - $4300 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 24.34 DK - 25.49 After the Mavericks traded away three-fifths of their starting lineup to the Knicks in the Kristaps Porzingis trade, Brunson filled in for some of those vacated backcourt minutes. He’s played 33 minutes in each of the last two games and been fine enough with 12 points, five assist and four rebound averages. Sharing the court with Doncic (and to a lesser degree) Harrison Barnes isn’t going to spell a great deal of usage for the young guard. But you have to like the minutes considering he’s coming in the low $4K range on both sites. Strongly consider Ricky Rubio if you think the Suns can hang with the Jazz. Shooting Guard Monte Morris FD - $6400 DK - $6100 Opponent - BKN Proj...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday 2/5/19

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday 2/5/19 Tuesday's NBA action brings us eight games and plenty of narratives. The Lakers are trying to trade away their whole team to the Pelicans for Anthony Davis. The Celtics are without Kyrie Irving, leaving a lot of usage up for grabs. And Kyle Lowry is out for a big game against the Sixers. We've got you covered with picks for FanDuel and DraftKings. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Fred Vanvleet FD - $5900 DK - $4600 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 28.4 DK - 29.17 Kyle Lowry was ruled out late on Sunday and is doubtful for Monday’s game against the Sixers. Fred VanVleet will, once again, start in his place. The latter only had to play 26 minutes against the Clippers because the Raptors had the game well in had and won by 18. FVV doesn’t see all that much of a usage bump moving into the starting lineup mostly because sharing more court time with Kawhi doesn’t help in that respect. But the minutes should be there in the mid 30’s considering this is a leverage Eastern Conference matchup. The price barely moved since Sunday and he’s a fantastic value here. Dennis Smith Jr. FD - $6800 DK - $5700 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 31.92 DK - 32.85 I get that the Knicks are *mostly* in the tank at this point have had a tectonic shift in their personnel. Even though the Memphis game didn’t really play out this way, my great suspicion is that New York’s plan is to run Smith plenty of minutes at point guard. That didn’t play out against the Grizzlies because Smith got in early foul trouble and finished with only 26 minutes. He put up eight points, six assists and three rebounds in that stretch against a very slow team. If you project him for even low 30’s minutes then his fantasy profile would definitely put him in play as a DraftKings’ pick. Strongly consider Reggie Jackson who’s found more usage and minutes in the Pistons’ offense of late. And finally, Collin Sexton is interesting. if the Cavs are playing shorthanded after the Rodney Hood trade. Sexton has been awful shooting from the field, but the...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Monday 2/4/19

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Monday 2/4/19 Well, Super Bowl Sunday is behind us and it's time to come to grips with another Tom Bray victory. Such is the breaks. But there's still plenty of NBA action to console ourselves with. Let's get it on with a full slate of action for FanDuel and DraftKings. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Darren Collison FD - $6500 DK - $6200 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 31.47 DK - 30.99 Cory Joseph FD - $4500 DK - $4100 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 24.94 DK - 24.56 Without Victor Oladipo for the rest of the season, the Pacers are in an *all hands on deck* situation in an effort to keep the rest of the year afloat without their superstar. That’s led to a usage bump in the short term for Collison who’s taken 13 and 14 shots respectively over the last two games with an average 18 points and assists in that time frame. The Pelicans have allowed 116 points per game to their opponents over the last five games and are once again going to be without most of their varsity squad. Collision’s price has come up in the short term because of the newer opportunity, but I still think he’s something of a value considering the matchup. Meanwhile, Joseph has been starting over the last couple of games and has kept that spot even with Tyreke Evans back in the fold. The steals have buffered his fantasy performance in that time period considering the usage isn’t always there when he’s running with the starters. But the minutes are for sure there and the price hasn’t moved all that much. Much like Collison, the key here is the matchup with the Pelicans doesn’t offer much in the way of resistance. Frank Jackson FD - $3900 DK - $3700 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 22.41 DK - 23.46 Do you trust the Pelicans? Me neither, mostly. They have a lot of incentive to head directly towards the tank with Anthony Davis out of the mix and they’ve already ruled out a lot of their *good* players again for Monday’s game. Jackson is still starting at the point guard spot and finally realized...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – 2/3/19

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - 2/3/19 Welcome NBA enthusiasts! While your friends and relatives are in the other room sharing guacamole and trying to find something interesting to say about the 9th Tom Brady Super Bowl, you'll be on your phone trying to put your lineups in. No worries, dear friends - we've got you covered. There's actually a lot we need to be mindful of here, and lots of pieces of injury news to keep an eye out for in particular. Let's go game by game and make sense of it all. We've got you completely covered. The Memphis Grizzlies at the New York Knicks There is no line on this game as of yet thanks to all the outstanding injury news. We kick things off in a game where we're going to have to do most of our analysis after we hear starting lineups. What we know as of this writing is that Jaren Jackson is probable, Mike Conley is questionable, and Kyle Anderson is ruled out. Shelvin Mack FD - $4000 DK - $4500Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 28.43 DK - 28.96 If Conley is out again, expect Shelvin Mack to be the highest owned player on the slate. He was 70% owned in cash for Friday night's slate, and was arguably the best play on the slate, topping 10x points per dollar on these paltry prices. The Grizzlies just need a ball handler, and he is really the only guy that fits that profile in any meaningful way. The Knicks are a good match-up to boot. This is the easiest play on the slate. After Mack, things get a little foggier on the Memphis side. Jaren Jackson's likely return makes guys like JaMychal Green and Ivab Rabb go back on the scrap heap, but I don't know that you really want to play him here either. Power forward rates to be brutal enough that you'll at least need to consider him, though. Kyle Anderson's absence made Bruno Caboclo a relatively popular cash game play, but he only got 23 minutes and didn't do a whole lot with them. He's interesting if he gets the start, but probably isn't a cash game play if he's coming off the bench. On the Knicks side, there...
