FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday, 5/11/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 5/11/21 This slate is going to be wild. We have the Toronto Raptors, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Detroit Pistons all taking the floor. If you've been following the NBA closely, you know that means this slate is going to be chaotic. These teams are impossible to predict from night to night, but we're fortunate that they've announced a handful of players that will be sitting. That's actually going to be a major theme in this article, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Killian Hayes FD - $5200 DK - $5400 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 26.73 DK - 27.06 Let's kick things off with the Pistons! We really don't know what to expect from this team from night to night, but they've already ruled out Jerami Grant, Cory Joseph, Mason Plumlee, and Hamido Diallo for this game. That means Hayes should handle the ball on every possession and play somewhere between 30-40 minutes. He actually got a somewhat rare start in their most recent game, collecting 21 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists across 38 minutes of action. That's hard to overlook from a guy sitting around $5K, especially with Minnesota ranked 28th in total defense while surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing PGs. Malachi Flynn FD - $5000 DK - $5300 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 29.16 DK - 29.62 The Raptors have also treated us with an injury report, and it's definitely in Flynn's favor. They've already ruled out Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, and Pascal Siakam, leaving Flynn with the starting point guard job. At the beginning of April, he actually had the same role, averaging 32 DraftKings points per game in a 10-game stretch in that expanded role. That's a pretty ridiculous total from a $5K player, and it could be even better here with all that usage and production out of the lineup. It's also going to guarantee him 30-plus minutes no matter what this game looks like, so blowout potential is not really a concern either. Ben Simmons has dropped to around $7K on both sites and could be a huge value at that price. Shooting Guard...

Point Guard Delon Wright FD - $8100 DK - $7700Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 40.49 DK - 39.37 Yes, the price has come up, but not enough for what Wright now means to this Kings team that without both De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton. Over the last three games Wright is playing close to 40 minutes per and averaging 18 points, eight rebounds and eight assists while also piling up 11 steals in that time period. He’s an elite play with the ability to contribute across the board from a fantasy perspective. Again, this is one of those situations that can look funny because you remember paying like $6K for him, the price simply hasn’t corrected enough. LaMelo Ball FD - $7700 DK - $8600Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 41.51 DK - 42.34 The Hornets had been very careful with LaMelo’s minutes since he’d returned from the wrist injury. But then last game he got p to 34 minutes of run and finished with 27 points, six rebounds and six assists. He’s been able to add defensive stats as well at times. This is setting up to be an up and down matchup against his brother Lonzo and of the two I prefer the younger Ball brother. The FanDuel price is particularly attractive at sub-$8K and the Hornets are still running thin at the guard position with Graham out. Shooting Guard Eric Bledsoe FD - $5800 DK - $5600Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 32.86 DK - 33.94 With Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram out of the lineup on Friday, the Pelicans actually fought hard against the Sixers though ended up ultimately losing. Bledsoe led the team in minutes (40) and shots (20). His final line was 18 points, five rebounds and four assists which won’t blow you away, but neither will the prices on either site. He’s a particularly good deal on DraftKings at under $6K. The only concern here would be that Nickeil Alexander-Walker comes back and cuts into the run some. Terry Rozier FD - $7000 DK - $8100Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 37.47 DK - 38.93 Rozier is still playing a ton of minutes for the Hornets when...

Point Guard Stephen Curry FD - $10200 DK - $10800Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 53.65 DK - 57.02 It’s close between Curry and Russell Westbrook (FD $12000 DK $11100) at these prices and the latter is probably the better play on DraftKings. Both the Warriors and the Wizards are fighting to get their seeding correct and stay out of the bottom half of the play-in game. Curry is going against the Thunder who have given up 118 or more points in three of the last four games. Meanwhile, Curry has a crazy usage rate in the short term putting up 21 or more shots in each of the last five games. He’s averaging 36 points per game in that stretch and is just bombing from beyond the arc, taking 17 or more threes in four of the last five. These are just crazy stats and he could be in line for a similar game on Saturday. Malachi Flynn FD - $5300 DK - $4700Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 29.51 DK - 29.68 Both Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet have already been ruled out for this game and the Raptors look like they are fully in the tank to finish the season. With the guard starters out there should be a lot of minutes there for Flynn in this one. The last time both sat out Flynn played 36 minutes and scored 10 points while putting up six assists and five rebounds. In a matchup against the Grizzlies and the Raptors playing with a borderline skeleton crew, Flynn has a high floor at these prices. He’s an especially good value on DraftKings. Shooting Guard Caris Levert FD - $8600 DK - $9100Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 46.2 DK - 46.57 The Washington-Indiana game has a lot of leverage around it with both teams fighting for seeding around the play-in game. This LeVert play is somewhat contingent on Malcolm Brogdon sitting, but the latter has been shelved for a number of games with a hamstring injury. Last game, Caris played 40 minutes and took 20 shots even with Domantas Sabonis back in the lineup. He finished with 31 points and 12 assists, running the...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, 5/7/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 5/7/21 Every slate for the last month has been wild, and this is yet another one. You open up FanDuel or DraftKings, and you'll see just how many players have injury designations. The point guard and power forward positions are beyond obliterated, and it'll be interesting to see what sort of value pops up closer to the opening tip. With that in mind, let's get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $7200 DK - $7400 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 38.8 DK - 38.49 This is a risky play with the way Ben has been struggling over the last few weeks, but his price has fallen way too far. This All-Star can play at a $9K level on any given night, which is right about where he was about a month ago. A recent slide has gotten him in this $7K range, but we can't overlook his 37-point average in this price range. He's shown some flashes of getting out of it recently, too, averaging 37 fantasy points per game across his last three outings. The reason we think he can reach that and possibly surpass it here is the matchup. New Orleans currently ranks 24th in defensive efficiency while owning a 28th OPRK against opposing point guards. In their one meeting earlier this year, Sim dropped 40 fantasy points if you needed any more incentive. Delon Wright FD - $7000 DK - $6800 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 36.9 DK - 36.28 Wright has been in this article the last two games he's played, and his form in those gems shows that we're doing something right. Delon is averaging 18 points, 8.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 5.0 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game in those two starts. That's a truly absurd stretch, with Wright scoring at least 55 DraftKings points in both of those. This recent rise in production is no surprise when you see that Sacramento is playing without De'Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton and Harrison Barnes, which is likely to be the case again here. We also don't mind that San Antonio owns a 20th OPRK against opposing PGs either. Goran Dragic and Kendrick Nunn have...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Wednesday, 5/5/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 5/5/21 Woof! These last two weeks are going to be something! It's already been nuts with all the resting and random "injury" designations, and it's only going to get weirder from here on out. The good news is that we have a lot of information available ahead of this slate, so hopefully, we have a good grasp on how things will play out. We also had a big night on Tuesday behind Giannis Antetokounmpo, Delon Wright, and Hamidou Diallo, so let's build on that momentum. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Delon Wright FD - $5200 DK - $5600 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 35.85 DK - 35.08 Wright was my favorite play of the day on Tuesday, and we're obviously going right back to him. He started at point guard with Tyrese Haliburton, Harrison Barnes, and De'Aaron Fox all out, posting one of the best all-around stat lines of the season. In fact, he finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, four steals, and four blocks in that majestic performance, providing 55 fantasy points across 37 minutes of play. We talked about how much he stuffed the stat sheet in his time with Detroit, and this sort of game shows just how versatile he can be. Indiana has been terrible recently, too, allowing at least 130 points in three of their last four games. Austin Rivers FD - $3600 DK - $3400 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 20.01 DK - 20.5 This play is obviously risky, but Rivers could play some big minutes here. We say that because of this injury report, with Jamal Murray, Will Barton, Monte Morris, and PJ Dozier all likely to sit here. That means Rivers could find himself as a starter which is no surprise when you see that he played 33 minutes on Monday. Any guy who can play at least 30 minutes below $4K is hard to avoid, especially with so much ball-handling missing from the lineup. That means all he needs is about 0.6 DK points per minute to be successful, and even the worst players in the league can do that. Ben Simmons has fallen all the way down to $7K on...
