Point Guard Jeff Teague FD - $6100 DK - $5800 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 32.84 DK - 33.12 Teague recently returned from a foot injury that kept him out for eight games, as these DFS sites are slow to adjust to his return. In his first game back, Teague provided 12 points, four rebounds and five assists across 17 minutes. In the most recent game, Teague collected 19 points, four rebounds and 10 assists in 35 minutes of action. Those 42.5 DraftKings points in the most recent outing are hard to overlook, especially considering he’s in the $6,000-range. It’s all a matter of minutes for Teague, as he’s averaging 29 fantasy points across 30 minutes a game. The fact that he played 35 minutes on Monday shows that all minute restrictions are off, as he could play even more with Tyus Jones, Derrick Rose and Jerryd Bayless all nicked up too. Collin Sexton FD - $5500 DK - $4900 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 27.42 DK - 29.06 Something has clicked with Sexton recently, as he’s been a different player the last couple weeks. In fact, Sexton has at least 19 fantasy points in 19 of his last 21 games while averaging 31.7 DK points across his last four fixtures. It’s his role that’s really risen recently, as Sexton is averaging 37.3 minutes and 19.3 shots a game in that four-game span while posting a 25.1 percent usage rate. The icing on the cake is the matchup though, with Brooklyn allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards. Strongly consider Stephen Curry on the back-to-back against the Trailblazers. Listen to "Wednesday NBA DFS plays and Betting Angles for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/13/19" on Spreaker. Shooting Guard Klay Thompson FD - $7200 DK - $6500 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 37.68 DK - 38.25 Thompson is the only player who hasn’t taken a hit to his fantasy value since DeMarcus Cousins entered the fray, as he remains a value in the $7,000-range. Not only is Thompson averaging 36.4 DraftKings...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday 2/12/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday 2/12/19 We are almost at the All-Star break, but there's still some NBA action to go around this week. Tuesday's features five games with the Lakers trying to tread playoff water, Anthony Davis still (for some reason) playing for the Pelicans and the Warriors hosting the Jazz. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Rajon Rondo FD - $6200 DK - $5900 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 25.93 DK - 26.63 Against the Sixers on Sunday, Coach Luke Walton went off script and benched Rondo in favor of running Reggie Bullock at the two and playing a hybrid approach at the point guard. It didn’t work out. I do think we see a return to Rondo at the point in this game against the Hawks. The Philly game presented very real mismatch issues which won’t come into play against the Hawks. We need to wait on starting lineup confirmation, but if Rondo is in there then he’s an easy lock for cash games on both sites. He’s only a game removed from a 17 point, 10 assist, seven rebound line (including the game-winning buzzer beater) against the Celtics. Rondo can be hit or miss, but I’d be less worried about the fantasy output in a matchup against the ultra-fast Hawks. Ben Simmons FD - $8800 DK - $7800 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 43.27 DK - 43.42 On DraftKings, the price continues to drop with the new-look Sixers now spreading their fantasy production even thinner around the core group of guys. Adding a player like Tobias Harris at the deadline will do that. Simmons has had a few underwhelming games in a row, capped by a dreadful eight point, seven assist game in the blowout against the Lakers. But I’m still encouraged his minutes will carry him most of the way there on this DraftKings’ price and he still has double-double potential if he’s playing 37+. Consider Ricky Rubio against the Warriors. Shooting Guard Jaylen Brown FD - $5200 DK - $5100 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 26.92 DK - 27.26 Marcus Smart FD - $5400 DK - $4900 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 26.15 DK - 26.22 With Kyrie Irving out of the...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Monday 2/11/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Monday 2/11/19 We are through the weekend, through the trade deadline, through a Zion Williamson block for the ages. It's a new week. And with it comes a break down of the cash game plays for FanDuel and DraftKings. That's how we are going to get your week started right. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Dennis Smith Jr. FD - $6900 DK - $6400 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 36.39 DK - 37.34 Since the Kristaps Porzingis trade, Dennis Smith has had free rein in the New York offense to chuck to his heart’s content. He’s taken 17, 15 and 25 shots respectively in the last three games with varying levels of efficiency. From a DFS perspective, I’m mostly encouraged by his volume and willingness to just chuck over and over. In the last three games, he’s averaging 23 points, seven assists and four rebounds. He gets a great matchup against the Cavs in a tank-off kind of game. Collin Sexton is pretty damn bad on defense, even for a rookie and Smith should see plenty of scoring opportunities here. Collin Sexton FD - $5400 DK - $4900 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 28.45 DK - 30.09 The Cavs are an utter mess right now. A team totally and completely in the tank with a lot of guys injured and other dudes shipped out at the trade deadline. That’s left a void in usage/ minutes/ talent/ everything but also opened up opportunity for Sexton to just do whatever for many minutes a game. Over the last five games, he’s averaging 34 minutes, 19 points, our rebounds and three assists. That basically gets the job done at these prices. The shot volume is the key and he needs to score to hit volume considering the periphery stats aren’t always there. But I’m not all that worried about it considering the current state of the Cavs who will be without Kevin Love once again on Monday. Shooting Guard Jordan Clarkson FD - $5800 DK - $5200 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 30.44 DK - 31.67 He’ll still come off the bench for this crappy team, but as one of the few guys on the squad who can...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – 2/10/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - 2/10/19 Happy Sunday, dear friends! We're deep in the heart of February, we're past the trade deadline, and we have nothing but basketball (and hockey, I guess?) from here til baseball season. Today we have a couple of slate across a nice day of Sunday hoops, and instead of trying to offer up a few picks at each position we'll go ahead and break things down game by game. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Portland Trail Blazers at the Dallas Mavericks Portland is favored by in a game with a total. This slate starts with a whimper, unfortunately. The new arrivals in Dallas have muddied some already cloudy waters, and Portland and Dallas both are below average match-ups for opposing daily fantasy players. The departure of Dennis Smith Jr. opened up some minutes and opportunity, but most of those were filled by already expensive (for their production) players like Tim Hardaway Jr. and Trey Burke. If there's one exception, it might be Dallas' best young player. Luka Doncic FD - $9800 DK - $9200Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 46.29 DK - 48.11 Luka appears to be the heir apparent to DSJ's time of possession, and has two triple-doubles in his last five games. He also presents a mismatch for McCollum and Lillard, and it's certainly not out of the question to imagine him paying value here. And yet, our system still isn't over the moon. The Milwaukee game was somewhat harrowing for people that want to play Mavs in cash games because the Mavs really weren't down by all that much when they decided to pull their starters. The Mavs are four teams and four games out of the playoffs right now, and you have to think that they are just aiming to rebuild around Luka and Porzingis. I think Luka is playable here, but certainly not exciting. I'm also willing to play Dorian Finney-Smith if I have to. I like that he played 33 minutes two games ago, and while he can disappear on you at times it's going to be slim pickins on this early slate. Things don't get a whole lot rosier on the Portland side. The arrival of Rodney Hood has made modestly interesting plays like Jake Layman...
