A lot will be made of how the Raptors were essentially a two-man team on offense between Kawhi Leonard and Pascal Siakam. This is true, though ignores the fact that it was relatively easy for these two in their respective matchups. The Raptors simply didn’t need to work at all to get anyone else involved. Kawhi and Pascal just roasted the Simmons/ Harris/ Butler defensive *schemes* the Sixers threw out there. On the other end of the court, the Raptors played the kind of defense that we expected. Philly couldn’t get much of anything going in the half court and were constantly settling for poor shots and busted possessions. Personally, I don’t have a lot of confidence in Brett Brown to make adjustments going forward, though I’d be happy to be proven wrong on that so the series stays competitive. Toronto Value Kawhi Leonard FD - $9700 DK - $9000Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 54.48 DK - 54.48 Pascal Siakam FD - $8300 DK - $7300Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 45.53 DK - 45.43 Look, these two dudes dominated in Game 1 and came out with about as good fantasy performances as you could ever hope for. And even with those peak games, and the price increases they are still the go-to fantasy plays on this slate. You aren’t getting anything like discounts on the Portland backcourt, and I have some real concerns about paying top dollar for Jokic. That kind of leaves us with these two. I’m confident in max minutes from both, and while I don’t think the scoring...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks - Tuesday 4/23/19 On Monday, the Bucks took care of business closing out the Pistons. But the Rockets couldn't do the same with the Jazz extending the series at least one more game. On Tuesday, the Raptors, Sixers and Blazers will all look to get out of the first round. Magic (11.5) vs. Raptors (-11.5) Vegas Projected Score: Toronto 108.75 - Orlando 97.25 Over/Under: 206 Series: Toronto 3-1 After that first game upset, Toronto has taken care of business against the Magic. They won the next three games, two in rather convincing fashion. Game 4 was really never in doubt and the Raptors won by 22 when it was all said and done. The series now shifts back to Toronto where it sure seems like the Raptors will take care of business against a feisty, but outgunned Magic squad. Orlando Value Evan Fournier FD - $5100 DK - $5100Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 28.5 DK - 29.69 We’ve written up Fournier as a *value* play over the last couple of games mostly because he’s one of the few Magic players seeing healthy minutes even if the games get out of hand. He ran 35 in Game 4, finishing with 19 points on 8-16 shooting (second most attempts on the team). He’s reliant on scoring to hit value, so the shot needs to fall. But considering the price, I’m still on board for playing him here in cash games. Toronto Value Kawhi Leonard FD - $9800 DK - $8300Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 46.89 DK - 47.14 After struggling some from the field in Game 3, Kawhi bounced back in Game 4 and turned in a superstar level performance with 34 points on 12-20 shooting. He also got the line nine times and grabbed six rebounds. The Magic don’t have many answers on the defensive end when he gets cooking and the price still hasn’t totally gotten to the point where he’s going to dust you even if the shot isn’t falling. Pascal Siakam FD - $8600 DK - $7500Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 41.76 DK - 41.86 Siakam was something of a disappointment in Game 4, finishing with 16 points and six rebounds in 36 minutes....
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks – Tuesday 4/16/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Playoff Picks - Tuesday 4/16/19 We've got a big Wednesday in NBA Playoff action. Can the Magic keep the, well, magic going against Toronto? Will we see another close one in Portland? Is Denver for real or will they cave in this series to the Spurs? Lots to look at for a three-game playoff NBA slate. Magic (10) vs. Raptors (-10)Vegas Projected Score: Toronto: 109.75 - Orlando: 100.75Vegas Over/Under: 210.5Series: Orlando 1-0 The Magic stole a game in a stunner with a late-game D.J. Augustin dagger three to all but seal the deal. They shot the lights out from three (48%) but looked tough on the defensive end against a seemingly superior Raptors’ squad. It’s difficult to imagine the Magic sustaining this level of basketball for an entire seven-game series, but they are clearly at worst, a very tough matchup for the Raptors. They are long around the perimeter and have the size inside with Vucevic to cause real problems on the defensive end. Orlando Value Jonathan Isaac FD - $5100 DK - $4900Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 29.37 DK - 28.69 If the Game 1 minutes are the new normal then Isaac is among the very best value plays on this three-game slate. He played 40 minutes and finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. While those per minute numbers aren’t all that impressive, you really have to think this is around the floor on his production if he’s going to run 83% of the game. Evan Fournier FD - $5600 DK - $5500Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 28.5 DK - 29.69 Fournier was another big minutes guy for the Magic. His length and defensive ability (like Isaac) help him stay on the court for longer stretches. Dude took the most shots on the team (18) and finished with 16 points. The other stats were lackluster leaving his overall fantasy line a little unimpressive despite the court time. I’m fine buying in the mid-tier on the minutes though and think he’ll continue to see similar usage. The other stats should come around. Toronto Value Pascal Siakam FD - $7800 DK - $7100Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 40.83...

Nets (8) vs. 76ers (-8)Vegas Projected Score: Nets: 108.75 - 76ers: 116.75Series: Nets 1-0 The Sixers came out and laid an egg in Game 1, struggling in ever aspect of the game (including health) and allowing the Nets to basically dominate them en route to 111-102 Brooklyn victory. There were a couple of main story lines. The primary one (and it will be the same going into Game 2) being the status of Joel Embiid. Philly waited until the last possible second to clear their superstar and he came out clearly looking less than 100%. He wasn’t able to play the full game and there is speculation he won’t be able to play Game 2. The Nets played some of their bench heavy rotations, but it’s always so hard to project minutes on a game-to-game basis for this group. They play matchups and hot-hands as much as anyone in the league and could do so again depending on what Embiid’s status is on Monday. Nets Value Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $4900 DK - $5000Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 28.62 DK - 29.79 Dinwiddie was one of the bench stars for Brooklyn, playing 32 minutes off the pine (including crunch time) and finishing with 18 points on 6-14 shooting (2-5 from three). He’s still coming priced at a value if you think this is the Nets’ plan going forward with their backup point guard. They can run him and D'Angelo Russell together so the latter’s minutes don’t necessarily cut into the former’s. Dinwiddie is still a solid middle tier play on a tightly-priced two-game slate. Jarrett Allen FD - $6000 DK - $4500Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 28.61 DK - 27.73 Allen played only 10 minutes in Game 1 mostly because he was an epic foul box every time Embiid was on the court. If the latter sits then I think Allen becomes one of the very best value plays on the slate. He’d look even better on a minutes trajectory if Ed Davis were forced to sit...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA picks for 4/10/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA picks for 4/10/19 It's the last day of the NBA regular season and it doesn't seem to come a moment too soon. The last few weeks of games have mostly been a mess of scratches, DNP, minutes limitations and more. But now the playoffs are right around the corner. We've got you completely covered.Speculation is a dangerous game in the DFS community but we really have no choice when we're playing the final day of the NBA season. There are so many injuries and so much resting going on, that we really won't have a good idea who to play until right before lineup lock. With that in mind, we're going to key in on guys who have something to play for, as those are really the only players we can trust. The teams we really want to key in on are the Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons. These two teams are battling for the final playoff spot in the east and that makes them tough to fade. Point guardKemba Walker FD - $9800 DK - $9500Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 47.03 DK - 48.64With Charlotte fighting for the final playoff spot in the east, Walker could be in for his best game of the season. The fact that the Hornets blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday only adds to Walker's intrigue, as his 27 minutes there should allow him to play at least 40 minutes of action here. A guy posting a 30 percent usage rate while averaging close to 25 shots per game is hard to fade when he's looking at 40 minutes, especially in a do-or-die game. Prior to Tuesday's blowout, Walker had at least 49 DK points in four-straight games and it's clear that he's in full takeover mode with everything on the line. Damian Lillard FD - $9400 DK - $9300Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 47.12 DK - 48.89It's unclear just how much Lillard will play here with Portland locked into the four-seed but he's a tough fade in this spot. What we really like about Lillard is this matchup, as he faces a Kings defense who ranks 26th in total defense while playing at the third-fastest pace in the NBA. That's just a small part of it, as they also allow the most fantasy points in the league to opposing point guards. That's crystal...
