Point Guard Jamal Murray FD - $7100 DK - $6600Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 36.62 DK - 37.88 The Nuggets are coming off a tough loss to Dallas on Tuesday, but we did get another sense of what their plan is with the starters in close games. For the most part, the usual suspects ran big minutes even on the back-to-back and that’s an encouraging sign from a projection standpoint. Murray got into foul trouble early but still finished with 34 minutes though he struggled from beyond the arc going 0-4 from three. His shooting is down some this season even though the minutes are up. It has his price firmly in the midrange and I do like him as a cash play, especially on DraftKings with the extra .5 for threes. New Orleans is coming in as a near perfect DFS matchup, running a super fast pace with one of the worst defensive efficiencies in the league. Dejounte Murray FD - $6900 DK - $5900Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 32.22 DK - 31.72 You are going to have to live with the 24-ish minutes considering Murray is still on a minutes restriction after sitting out the entire 18-19 season. That being said, this guy’s per minute numbers are about as good as it gets. He’s averaging 15 points, eight rebounds and six assists in just 23 minutes per game. For anyone, these number are nuts, for a guard they are particularly astounding. This is a tough matchup against the Clippers who will get Kawhi Leonard back on the second half of the back-to-back. Murray’s price is a bit too steep on FanDuel where it’s been a bit overcorrected because of the early season fantasy returns. But I think the DK price is fine enough and Murray has a solid floor because he contributes in every meaningful way. Shooting Guard Jimmy Butler...

Point Guard Stephen Curry FD - $9600 DK - $9500Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 47.53 DK - 50.25 The Warriors got off their opening season schneid against the Pelicans on Monday, winning the game rather easily. It was game they kind of needed in order to turn around what had been a disaster opening to the season. Curry was vintage Steph going for 26 points and 10 assists on 9-17 shooting (4-10 from three) in just 31 minutes. He was a chalk play on both sites on Monday and I suspect that’s the case here again on Wednesday against the Suns. The latter has actually played very good defense to start the season and rank among the best in terms of defensive efficiency. That being said, the Warriors, as an entire group are still priced because of their problematic first two games. This is still a spot to buy on Golden State even on a big slate. De'Aaron Fox FD - $8100 DK - $7800Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 43.08 DK - 43.04 Speaking of disaster starts to the season, the Kings are 0-4 out of the gate and have looked, at times, like a complete mess. Granted, they’ve had a tough run against the Nuggets, Jazz, Blazers and Suns (who might not be terrible) but this is still a team that should be keeping games closer than they have been. Part of the problem is Luke Walton’s early rotations that haven’t seemed to emphasize starter minutes. That turned around some last game against the Nuggets when Fox played 36. He had 20 points and nine assists for his second-best fantasy game of the season. Now Sac-Town will get their easiest matchup yet against a bottom-feeding Charlotte team ranked second to last in defensive efficiency. If the minutes stick then this is a...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Monday, 10/28/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Monday, 10/28/19 Monday is a big slate in the NBA with plenty of moving parts and some teams still trying to figure things out. We've got you covered with cash game considerations for FanDuel and DraftKings. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Dejounte Murray FD - $7000 DK - $6100Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 36.09 DK - 35.38 Murray isn’t playing a ton of minutes, but when he’s on the court he’s about as efficient as it gets. Dude is averaging 12.5 shots in fewer than 24 minutes and has a 19 point, nine rebound, five assist, 2.5 steal line through the first two. That is about as as it gets considering the minutes and though Murray’s price has come up a bit since the start of the season, he’s still something of a value here. The Portland backcourt isn’t all that great shakes when it comes to defending around the perimeter though Murray’s game is predicated more around the midrange and getting to the basket. The only real concern here with Dejounte is the minutes stick in the lower-to-mid 20’s and that’s a thin margin when it comes to the price. Trae Young FD - $9400 DK - $9000Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 46.29 DK - 49.26 The good news first: Young has been about as good as you can possibly be to start the season. He’s averaging a ridiculous 39 point/ nine assist/ seven rebound line through the first two. The second-year guard is putting it all together in a transition toward superstar status right before eyes. The minutes area also consistently high for a 2-0 Hawks’ team that might be a feisty squad going forward in the East. If you want to find a possible piece of *bad* news it’s that Young isn’t going to continue shooting 55% from three on ten attempts per game. There’s definitely some run hot with the scoring so keep that in mind when you look at the scoring output. But the assists and rebounds do show the ability to keep the fantasy scoring floor high even if the shot isn’t falling completely. That’s a great sign for cash games. Other thoughts If Joel Embiid were to...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday 10/25/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday 10/25/19 The NBA season has barely started and it already feels like a ton has happened. Overtime games, looks at new teams, some surprises, a big-name suspension, and more. It's been nuts. Now we get a big Friday on the schedule with nine games on the schedule. Let's take a look at some plays for FanDuel and DraftKings. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $9700 DK - $9000Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 47.21 DK - 48.31 Kyrie came about an inch away from turning his first game as a Brooklyn Net from amazing to transcendent. Irving was everything the Nets could have hoped for and more. He dropped 50 points on 17-33 shooting, with eight rebounds, seven assists and zero turnovers. It was basically like pitching a perfect game considering how damn efficient he was on the offensive end. He’ll have a chance to put up big numbers again on Friday against a Knicks’ team that simply can’t figure out what it wants to do at point guard. They started Alonzo Trier on Wednesday, but ceded way to Elfrid Payton and DSJ later. This team is already seeming like a mess and I suspect Irving comes out firing again with the Wednesday loss still fresh. That context aside, at these prices and his current implied usage it’s awfully tough to fade his scoring here. Mike Conley FD - $7300 DK - $6800Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 37.07 DK - 37.7 Conley had all kind of issues in his first game as a Jazz. He got into foul trouble (finished with 5) which ended up costing him some minutes. But even when he was on the court, the shooting was the thing of nightmares. He put up a 1-16 from the field and somehow, because they are so good, the Jazz still pulled out a victory. The thing to be encouraged going forward though is the usage. If the plan is to have him as this kind of focal point of the offense, then these prices are entirely too low. We are buying low because of the horrific shooting. This is a good matchup against the Lakers who did give...
