FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday, 2/23/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 2/23/21 After a Monday slate with a ton of blowouts, we might be in for the same thing here. We have Brooklyn, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Denver, and Los Angeles all as monster favorites, with only nine games on the board. That could limit some minutes for some big-name players, but it's hard to overlook how good some of those matchups are, though, too. That makes things interesting, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard De'Aaron Fox FD - $7900 DK - $8000 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 42.85 DK - 43.81 Fox has quietly been one of the best point guards in the NBA over the last month. Over his last 16 games played, Fox is averaging 44 DraftKings points per game, scoring at least 32 fantasy points in each of those. That's a heck of a run, and it's hard to understand why he's not a $9K player. The matchup only adds to his intrigue, with the Nets ranked 28th in total defense while playing at the eighth-fastest pace in the NBA. Those are two huge factors for Fox, and he should have no problem exploiting lackluster defenders like James Harden and Kyrie Irving. Dennis Smith Jr. FD - $4600 DK - $4200 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 27.16 DK - 26.31 Saben Lee FD - $0 DK - $3200 Opponent - ORL We're going to cheat a little bit and get both of these guys in here. The problem is, only one of them will probably play well. The Derrick Rose trade moved them into the rotation, while the Delon Wright injury has forced them into huge roles. Smith was the star in the first game without Wright, dropping 28 DK points despite not making a single shot. That made him highly-owned in the next slate, but Lee came in and collected 30 fantasy points across 33 minutes of play, leaving Smith with crumbs. That means at least one of these guys will be productive, and they both remain way too cheap. We bet that Smith will be the one to start, which makes him the better option. Damian Lillard has been running the show...

Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $8800 DK - $8700Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 47.16 DK - 48.76 The Nets are still without Kevin Durant for the foreseeable future leaving more usage and on-ball time for Kyrie Irving. He struggled last game in this situation, going just 7-17 from the field and 0-5 from three. But in general, this is going to be a good situation for him and the price has stayed relatively in check. The Clippers are getting healthier which means they can be a problem on defense, especially for guards/ wings, but Irving’s price is still too low considering Durant is out of the lineup. Dennis Smith Jr. FD - $4600 DK - $4000Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 25.69 DK - 24.27 Dennis Smith should draw the start for the injured Delon Wright in this game. Detroit is now really thin at the on-ball guard position with Wright out, Killian Hayes injured and Derrick Rose traded away. That leaves Smith as one of the few true point guard types on the roster. He’s shown fits and spurts fantasy-wise since coming over from New York in the trade which probably still makes him a little risky, especially on FanDuel. But if he’s in the starting lineup then it’s worth the risk at near-the-minimum on DraftKings where he’s simply coming too cheap. If Monte Morris (FD 4100 DK 4700) jumps into the starting lineup with the Nuggets’ injury issues, they he’s a good play on FanDuel. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $10800 DK - $10600Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 57.26 DK - 61.89 Harden has been nothing short of amazing since coming over in the trade to the Nets. Once again, it almost doesn’t matter who he is playing with, the fantasy scoring just gets done. Over the last three games with Kevin Durant on the shelf, he’s averaging 30 points, 12 assists, and eight rebounds per game while running bit minutes. The floor is just so high considering he scores fantasy points in almost any way imaginable. The price has climbed for sure, but he plays a ton of minutes and the Nets have been a good team even...

Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $9900 DK - $10600Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 59.36 DK - 62.59 He’s not going to win in all likelihood, but Lillard has at least entered the MVP discussion with his performance this season. He’s putting up massive numbers for a team decimated by injuries and currently without their second and third best players in CJ McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic. But they’ve won seven games in a row and over the last two weeks, Lillard is averaging 30 points and nine assists per game. On Sunday, he gets the best defensive matchup of the day against the Wizards (other than the Wiz against Portland) who rank 26th in efficiency and run the league’s fastest pace. This is a dream spot for Lillard. LaMelo Ball FD - $7800 DK - $8800Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 47.32 DK - 48.49 We’ll probably be stacking up some Hornets once again in cash, this time against the Warriors. Charlotte is without Devonte’ Graham again which leaves them thin in the backcourt for this game. Ball has been starting regardless and logging heavy minutes, playing 37 and 39 in the last two respectively. In fact, dating back to 1/29 when the run really started increasing, he’s putting up 21 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and two steals per game. That gets the job done at these prices and this is a pace-up matchup with the Warriors playing as the second-fastest team in the league. Shooting Guard Terry Rozier FD - $7000 DK - $7900Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 39.81 DK - 41.31 Much like Lamelo Ball, Rozier has been asked to play a ton over the last few games, and from a fantasy perspective, it’s paying off. He’s taken 14+ shots in each of the last five games, and 49 total over just the last two. Rozier has put up an average of 33 points per game over the last three thanks to that volume shooting and he should see similar usage in this game against Golden State. The FanDuel price is particularly attractive whereas it’s getting a little closer on DraftKings thanks to the increase. Andrew Wiggins FD - $6400...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, 2/19/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 2/19/21 After a slow Thursday slate, we're back to a full one here. We have nine games on the docket, with the Houston-Dallas matchup getting postponed. Losing that game takes out some big-name players, but there's still plenty of good options on the board. There's a lot to discuss, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ja Morant FD - $7100 DK - $7400 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 42.14 DK - 43.16 It's crazy that Morant remains so affordable on both sites. This dude has been a monster when healthy, and we genuinely believe he'll be a $9,000 player by the end of the season. He showed why in his first week before getting injured, averaging over 55 fantasy points per game. While he did struggle a little in his return from his ankle issue, he's still scored at least 32 DraftKings points in six-straight while dropping 46-plus in back-to-back games. The talent will eventually overwhelm this price, and we love that he faces a 22nd-ranked Detroit defense here as well. Darius Garland FD - $5400 DK - $ Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 31.04 DK - 32.18 Talk about some mispricing. Garland has hovered around $5K ever since he returned from injury, and it makes no sense why. We're talking about a player who averaged 34 DK points per game across 34 minutes a night before his injury. That's what we've seen lately, with Garland averaging 28 DK points per game across his last 11 outings. That's all you can ask for from a sub $6K player, especially when this is a blossoming 21-year-old who will only get better as the season progresses. Facing a shorthanded Nuggets team that ranks 16th in defensive efficiency isn't worrisome either. Jamal Murray has been stellar the last three games, and his usage should continue to rise with so many Nuggets sitting. Shooting Guard Fred Vanvleet FD - $8000 DK - $7800 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 47.83 DK - 48.54 With Kyle Lowry out for the next few games, FVV will be running things for the Raptors. That was certainly the case on Thursday when...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday, 2/18/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Thursday, 2/18/21 After a crazy slate on Wednesday, things are much tamer here. It's actually one of the smallest slates of the season, with only three games on the docket. That makes things relatively easy to figure out but mixing the right studs with the right value plays is absolutely critical. That's why we have a good mix here, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kendrick Nunn FD - $5100 DK - $5300 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 24.02 DK - 24.55 We have some big dogs coming later in this article, so let's kick things off with a couple of good value plays. Nunn is just that, starting at point guard in the absence of Goran Dragic. That expansion in his role has led to the best stretch of his career, averaging 29 DraftKings points per game across 34 minutes a night over his last 14 outings. Getting 29 fantasy points from a player barely cracking $5K is huge, and it's hard to understand why he remains so cheap on both sites. The best part of this might be the matchup, though, with Sacramento ranked dead-last in both points allowed and defensive efficiency. Cory Joseph FD - $3800 DK - $3900 Opponent - MIA Proj Pts FD - 24.55 DK - 24.34 Joseph has always been a solid veteran, and it's clear Luke Walton has inserted him into the starting lineup to light a fire under some of the young guys. In that first start on Tuesday, Joseph played 31 minutes and dropped a season-high 33 DraftKings points. That extends a stretch in which he's averaging 26 fantasy points per game across his last three fixtures, playing at least 27 minutes in each of those. Harrison Barnes and Richaun Holmes's injuries should guarantee him even more minutes, making him the best punt play below $4K on both sites. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $11000 DK - $10600 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 50.72 DK - 54.46 This dude put on one of the performances of the season on Thursday, and it's clear he's fully motivated after a questionable end to his Rockets tenure. He...
