FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday 3/23/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 3/23/21 Monday's slate was completely nuts. There were so many superstar players sitting and so many back-to-backs that it caused chaos for DFS. The good news is that we had a pretty good night at DFSR and are looking to build off of that momentum here. We have more injury news to build off, and it'll be fun to see how this one plays out. Let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $9400 DK - $10000 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 52.6 DK - 55.62 It's strange that Lillard has seen such a drastic price drop. We know that C.J. McCollum is back and taking away touches, but Dame was outperforming this price tag last year when C.J. was in the lineup anyway. His recent form is impossible to overlook, though, scoring at least 40 DraftKings points in 15 of his last 17 games, posting a 53-point average in those 15 outings. The main reason we love him today is this matchup, though, with Brooklyn ranked 26th in points allowed and 25th in defensive efficiency. Facing a team like this always lights up Lillard's eyes, too, and that's a scary sign for the Nets. Jordan Poole FD - $6500 DK - $5600 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 34.97 DK - 36.77 With Stephen Curry out, Poole has established himself as one of the go-to players in this offense. Amazingly, Poole has scored at least 34 fantasy points in the last three games that Curry has missed, taking 17.3 shots a night. Anyone sitting around 6K attempting 17-plus shots is always in play, particularly when it's a guy who's shooting at a 54 percent clip in that span too. We have to believe this huge role will only rise as long as Curry remains out, and we love that he faces a Philadelphia defense that owns a 25th OPRK against opposing shooting guards this season as well. Ben Simmons should be asked to do more with Joel Embiid out, and that's great news against one of the fastest-paced teams in the NBA. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $11300 DK - $11000 Opponent -...

Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10800 DK - $11000Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 60.45 DK - 64.87 This game has the second-highest total on the slate and for good reason. The Blazers come in with the second-worst defensive efficiency on the season and Luka is leading a top-10 offense. He’s playing major minutes in the short term, running 38 or more in each of the last three games. He’s put up 35 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds in that stretch as well. The numbers are just about as good as you’ll ever see someone in fantasy and he’ll be a tough fade on this main slate if that’s the way you go. Dennis Schroder FD - $6100 DK - $6900Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 34.33 DK - 35.5 The Lakers are now without Lebron James and Anthony Davis for the foreseeable future leaving their team and relative shambles for the time being. Schroder is going to have to pick up a major part of the offensive load now and should play a lot of minutes going forward as the lead ball-handler. It’s only a 230 minutes sample size, but with James and Davis off the court this season he has a 28% usage percentage. Again the minutes could be through the roof here with LA trying to tread water until their superstars come back and Schroder is set to see a big increase on his 15 points, 5 assists season average. If Ben Simmons is out again then Shake Milton (FD 5500 DK 5300) becomes a strong cash game option on the back-to-back. Shooting Guard Bradley Beal FD - $9600 DK - $9300Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 53.28 DK - 54.68 Beal has one of the great minute floors in all of basketball this season when the Wizards are able to stay in the game. Heck, overall he’s averaging 36 minutes per game and recently has been pushing towards 40 when the script is going correctly. Even with him and Westbrook sharing the court he’s putting up points and is averaging close to 30 per game over the last month. When Russ is out there Beal’s other numbers do dip...

Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $8500 DK - $9100Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 45.18 DK - 45.15 Without Joel Embiid on the court, Simmons becomes even more of a floor general and does see the usage and rebounding especially go up. He’s also in line for major minutes, running 40 in regulation last time out against the Bucks and finishing with a triple-double 13 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds in the overtime loss. At these prices, in a matchup against the Kings, he’ll considerable chalk on both sites, especially FanDuel where the price is way too low. Jordan Poole FD - $4600 DK - $5100Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 33.07 DK - 34.34 Poole got the start for Stephen Curry who sat out Friday with an injury. The latter is out on Saturday as well and Poole should be right back in the mix. The price isn’t exactly cheap on either site considering he’s moving from a bench role, but this is still a value considering how the Warriors are using him without their superstar. Poole took the second-most shots on the team on Friday (15) and finished with 25 points. It’s worth noting that his fantasy output was almost entirely scoring-based and he had three total assists+rebounds in his 34 minutes. But we’ll have to make do with his usage at these prices and the minutes should still be in the mid-30s. If the minute's restrictions are off and he’s a full-go now on a back-to-back then Derrick White (FD 5000 DK 5900) is a very good FanDuel play. Shooting Guard Andrew Wiggins FD - $5200 DK - $6300Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 35.65 DK - 35.71 Speaking of Warriors without their superstar, Wiggins took over Friday night’s game against the Grizzlies in Curry’s absence and put on a scoring show. The much-maligned former #1 pick has only shown flashes of the scoring upside over his career. But it was on display on Friday, finishing with 40 points while also throwing in eight rebounds and four assists. He took a team-high 25 shots and should be in line for somewhat similar usage on Saturday considering the lack of options...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, 3/19/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 3/19/21 This marks my final article of the week, and we've been on quite the heater. Thursday was frustrating with two of our guys getting unexpectedly ruled out, but that's the nature of this game sometimes. The good news here is that we have most of the injury news already had of us, making things a little easier. The Warriors will be the most interesting team to watch with two studs likely out, and that's a team you guys need to keep an eye on closer to the opening tip. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Delon Wright FD - $5600 DK - $6000 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 33.98 DK - 33.04 This pricing doesn't make any sense. Delon hovered closer to $7,000 before getting injured right before the break, and he's earned every bit of that price tag recently. In the 21 games before his leg injury, Wright averaged over 31 DraftKings points per game. You'd assume that his numbers are down with this price tag, but he's actually got at least 32 fantasy points in each of his last three games, flirting with a 40-point average in that span. What makes the pricing even more egregious is this matchup, with Houston owning one of the worst defensive efficiency ratings in their current 18-game losing streak. Tomas Satoransky FD - $4400 DK - $4400 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 24.43 DK - 25.01 Talk about some mispricing. Somebody at DraftKings and FanDuel needs to let the numbers guys know that Sato is the starting point guard in Chicago. That has allowed him to record seven assists in three-straight games, averaging 29 DK points per game in that span. How often do you see a starting point guard averaging nearly 30 DK points per game priced at $4,400? The answer is never, and it's clear that he's usurped Coby White on the totem pole. What makes it less surprising is that Tomas averaged 25 fantasy points per game in this role last season. Denver isn't too shabby of a matchup either, owning a 16th OPRK against opposing point guards this season. If you want to pay up, Luka Doncic and Damian Lillard...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday, 3/18/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Thursday, 3/18/21 We crushed Tuesday's article with guys like Damian Lillard, Tomas Satoransky, Moses Brown, Brandon Ingram, and John Collins and Wednesday appears to be off to a nice start. This second half has been a lot better to us in general, with not as much late-breaking news killing our lineups (knock on wood!). We have another great slate here and a lot to discuss, though, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ricky Rubio FD - $5400 DK - $5800 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 26.69 DK - 27.18 Rubio has always been overlooked for fantasy purposes because of his lack of scoring, but this dude has been awesome recently. What's made him valuable is that Minnesota is so shorthanded in the backcourt, playing without Jordan McLaughlin, D'Angelo Russell, and Malik Beasley. That leaves Rubio as the primary ball-handler, leading to his best stretch of the season. He's now scored at least 21 fantasy points in 18 of his last 20 games while averaging 28 fantasy points per game in that span. He actually has a 34-point average over his last five fixtures, and that makes him hard to fade below $6K. Rubio happens to have some of his best career numbers against the Suns, too, averaging 11.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 2.7 steals per game in 23 meetings with them. Michael Carter-Williams FD - $4700 DK - $5700 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 27.66 DK - 28.33 Is it 2015? Rubio and MCW as our point guard recommendations feels like a weird start but these two are in great spots right now. Carter-Williams has benefited just like Rubio, gaining the starting PG position in Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony's absences. Since taking over this role 13 games ago, MCW has at least 18 fantasy points in each of those en route to a 25-point average. That makes the $4,700 price tag on FanDuel criminal, especially when you see Carter-Williams' 28-point average over the last five games. New York happens to be missing Elfrid Payton at point guard, too, and he's their defensive stopper at that position. Damian Lillard was our highlight player on...
