Pts - 40.69 DK Proj. Pts - 41.47 The minutes weren't there against the Warriors because no team's starters ever get their minutes against the Warriors. Because said teams are typically getting crushed. Expect to see Rondo back up there logging run against the Mavericks tonight. Even with Collison back the Kings are devoid of many ballhandlers and need Rondo out there for extended stretches. I think I'd prefer Rondo more if Cousins were back in the lineup simply because he makes the Kings a much better team and Rondo can run the pick and roll to death with Boogie. But I'll take Rajon either way because few other players have his kind of minutes upside. Isaiah Thomas - FD 7300 DK 7600 Opponent - MIA FD Proj. Pts - 34.09 DK Proj. Pts - 36.01 With Marcus Smart out, Thomas has taken over the point guard duties with the first unit and is playing minutes when the game stays close. I can't imagine either team running away with this one. And though the Heat area a slower team who defend the point guard well, the price for Thomas simply hasn't risen much because the Celts have been in some lopsided games. That's buzzed off his minutes. It shouldn't happen here and I expect a solid performance. Russell Westbrook - FD 11000 DK 10600 Opponent - ATL FD Proj. Pts - 50.02 DK Proj. Pts - 51.54 To say he laid an egg the other night (as compared to his typical performance) is an insult to really productive egg-laying animals everywhere (perfect comparison). Westbrook double-doubled with a 14/11 (turnovers) line that you simply won't see from him, well really ever. While having Durant back for sure cuts into Westbrook's overall usage, we don't need to see them on the court as mutually exclusive fantasy upside ideas. They are more than capable inhabiting the...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot – 11/27/15

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 11/27/15 Here's to hoping everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving and didn't collapse into themselves like a dying star because there was no NBA. But not to worry, it's back for a packed Friday. Completely full slate and a lot to break down. If you want access to the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our lineup builder and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel and DraftKings. While the seasons overlap, you'll get access to our tools for the NBA, NFL, and NHL! Get started by clicking the button below. 111 START CRUSHING DFS NOW! First time with NBA? Be sure to read our free NBA Ebook on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. POINT GUARD Russell Westbrook - FD 11600 DK 11100 Opponent - DET FD Proj. Pts - 51.69 DK Proj. Pts - 53.42 The tough thing about Westbrook is the price. But the other tough thing is rooting against him on any given night. Those two thoughts meet somewhere in the middle here. I understand that with Durant back, Westbrook's usage takes a dip as he's rocking a 42 usage with Durant off the floor, 33 with KD on. But that latter number still leads the team and Westbrook showcased against Brooklyn how he and Durant's big games aren't mutually exclusive. Detroit is league average defending opposing point guards so I don't expect a shut down performance. With big slates like this, there are typically enough punt plays to not sweat getting Russell into lineups. Rajon Rondo - FD 8400 DK 9300 Opponent - MIN FD Proj. Pts - 42.68 DK Proj. Pts - 43.56 Minutes, minutes and more minutes. Rondo has been an iron man for the Kings this season, playing about 40 or more minutes in nine of the last ten games. No other player in the NBA gets this kind of run, and there's little reason to believe it somehow abates in the short term. The Kings need him out there. He's benefited from having Boogie for sure, but can still put up numbers when the big guy is off the court. The T-Wolves play at a fast pace and allow tons of points to opposing point guards. Rondo is a top play for any price tier. Ricky Rubio - FD 7100 DK 6900 Opponent - SAC FD Proj. Pts - 32.69 DK Proj. Pts - 33.66 Opposing Rondo will be Rubio who stands to see a quality line in this one. The Kings are playing at the fastest pace in the league this season and that kind of...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 11/25/15 It's Thanksgiving week! Whether you're trying to choose what dish to bring to Grandma's, which bar to go to on Wednesday night, or just hoping to make it through Thursday without burning any bridges, one thing will remain constant for you - daily fantasy NBA basketball! People may be taking off from work this week, but not those of us here at DFSR. Pts - 35.65 DK Proj. Pts - 38.14 I would like him even more if Eric Bledsoe were to sit again, but even with Suns at full strength, this is a fine play. Knight is averaging almost 18 shots per game this season which is among the most in the league. But there's no denying he's been a feast or famine dude through and through. He has a couple of spectacular performances, but has some real stinkers thrown in there as well. The good news here is the Pelicans are about the worst in the league at defending opposing point guards. They don't have a lot of stability at the position to begin with and are getting shredded on the defensive end. I don't like point guard as a whole tonight, and it can feel weird paying this much for night. But I think he's worth it. Rajon Rondo - FD 8400 DK 9300 Opponent - MIL FD Proj. Pts - 36.72 DK Proj. Pts - 37.38 He's expensive, but my god the lines this dude has been putting up are just ridiculous. He's playing minutes in the 40's which on it's own is crazy. He dished out 20 assists in an overtime game against Charlotte and could be looking at a big line tonight as well. He's hurt some without Boogie in there, but it probably only means the Kings will need him on the court the whole game, which could even things out. Rondo is another guy who's seen a big time price jump, but it's warranted and as long as the Kings keep it close...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 11/24/15 It's the beginning of Thanksgiving week! Pts - 45.51 DK Proj. Pts - 49.15 At this point I don't need to expound on the virtues of one Mr. Stephen Curry. He's having an historic season and is one of the many reasons League Pass is filling up our televisions every time the Warriors play. Tonight he takes on the worst defense in the league and the team that can't defend opposing point guards even a little. The only worry with Curry is the Warriors beat down the Lakers so bad that he doesn't sniff anywhere near his normal run of minutes. The one good thing about Curry's rotations though is that he (typically) plays through the third quarter. So his floor is somewhere in the low thirties of minutes. That's plenty of time to hit value for Steph and he makes one of the top cash game plays on the night. Chris Paul - FD 8900 DK 8500 Opponent - DEN FD Proj. Pts - 39.91 DK Proj. Pts - 41.97 His price is still trending on the low side thanks to some injury issues and a slow start to the season. Paul hasn't seen some of the top end performances this season for a couple of reasons. The minutes are trending a little lower than expected and so is his shooting. Paul is shooting worse than his career average from the field (43% compared to 47%) which isn't helping him reach peak value. Not that he's "due" to turn this around, but it doesn't stand to reason he'll continue to shoot as bad over the long term....

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftPot - 11/21/15 Big Friday slate, ya'll! I'm sweating down the smallest slate ever while writing these picks - a blessing and a curse. Only one game at a time... but I feel like I have every player on both sides. Oh boy. POINT GUARD There are a lot of if's at this position as of right now. I'll break some of them down here. If Jeff Teague sits again then Dennis Schroder instantly becomes a near must start at his prices. Additionally, if Bradley Beal is out again then Garrett Temple makes a cheap plug-and-play getting about thirty minutes from the shooting guard position. In many ways I'm hoping one of these cheaper options works out because the next level of points/$ plays aren't enticing even in the slightest. I'll write up a couple of them, but understand that the players listed above represent better opportunity if their situations work out. Tony Parker - FD 5200 DK 4700 Opponent - MEM FD Proj. Pts - 20.59 DK Proj. Pts - 21.22 He's seen an uptick in his minutes of late which has lead to some increased productivity. I mostly like the price on Parker if the guys above don't get their opportunity. Memphis isn't a good matchup mostly because their pace effects the opponent's volume. But Parker's salaries have high floors built in. Always a risk to get Pop'd on a certain night, but Parker's been getting up about 10 shots a game in the short term and getting the assist game going. Coming cheap enough to seriously consider. If none of the other cheap options work out then you need to seriously consider John Wall SHOOTING GUARD James Harden - FD 10300 DK 10200 Opponent - NYK FD Proj. Pts - 43.56 DK Proj. Pts - 46.2 Dwight won't play in the second half of the back-to-back which does help Harden's expectation in this one. When Howard is on the court, Harden has a 30 usage over the last year...
