It really seems like he's trolling DFS at this point. Tonight's slate features a ton of cheap plays thanks to the current Suns' situation and a couple of other guys thrown in here and there. It's actually tough to figure out the ways to get money in right, which can be tough sledding. Let's take a look at some of the deals. He walks into a solid matchup against a bottom third defensive team in the Sixers. The sites haven't come close to adjusting Goodwin's price relative to his new opportunity and I suspect he's one of the highest-owned players on the slate. Pts - 35.95 I know the Suns hung with and beat the Hawks on Sunday, but they are still a young/ inexperienced team with a bunch of defensive struggles this season. They are tied for the second worst defensive efficiency in the league and are allowing around 15% more scoring that league average to opposing point guards. They do have some bigger bodies inside who could alter Ish's strength which is getting to the basket. But the game flow here really favors Smith and assuming he has minutes just north of 30 then you have a guy with a high floor. Strongly consider Russell Westbrook because he's well, Westbrook. But the two guys above are such great plays that it's tougher making the case to pay up for the guy. SHOOTING GUARD...

Pts - 49.53 DK Proj. Pts - 51.27 Look, I like him just about every time he hits the court. Outside of a price tag north of 11K and a matchup against say the Jazz, Westbrook should be on your radar. He's just so freaking great and has an insanely high floor because he appears every where on the court at all times (or so it seems). His biggest issue of late is OKC just crushing some teams and his fourth quarter minutes get buzzed. But in only 27 minutes against the Hornets he still went 16/15/8. The guy barely needs to play some games in order to put up astronomical lines. I think this game stays close and he's one of the safest plays on the night. Tyler Johnson - FD 4300 DK 5600 Opponent - TOR FD Proj. Pts - 24.78 DK Proj. Pts - 26.19 It really doesn't look like Udrih is going to play and Goran Dragic's already been ruled out for Friday. If Udrih were to come back I'd downgrade Johnson, but as it stands now dude looks like he's all systems go again. He played 35 minutes last game, finishing with an underwhelming 15/4/2 line that barely got him to value. Part of the issue was how the Heat played Josh Richardson more minutes at the one, sliding Johnson to the two. If Wade is back I don't think you'll really see that rotation as much. While the matchup is lousy, the relative price to opportunity is hard to pass up. Emmanuel Mudiay - FD 5000 DK 5800 Opponent - MEM FD Proj. Pts - 24.82 DK Proj. Pts - 25.87 Mudiay’s gotten some additional run with Jameer Nelson on the mend. With Nelson now Questionable for the Nuggets' tilt with Memphis, Emmanuel may see a few less minutes, but the projections still show a really high floor here. He’s a solid option everywhere (on FD his price is criminally low), and if Nelson’s out again the ceiling is raised as well. Another value play at a slightly lower price point. Jrue Holiday - FD 6600 DK 6500 Opponent - DET FD Proj. Pts - 31.45 DK Proj. Pts - 32.92 Jrue has been hot from the floor for the last week, and his production has spiked (5x floor the last three games). Detroit is a decent matchup with an average Pace and middle-of-the-road defense against PGs. With Eric Gordon’s fragility highlighted yet again (out 4-6 weeks with a broken finger), there will be more minutes and shots for the adjusted Pels backcourt rotation. Without Dragic and Udrih, Miami really doesn't have much in the way of ballhandlers. Even Johnson doesn't strike me as a natural one, but desperate times and all for the Heat. He's basically a lock in cash game lineups for me considering the price and the opportunity. And the 16/6/4 line from Sunday night just gives you all the fuzzy warm feelings as well. Brandon Knight - FD 6500 DK 7200 Opponent - IND FD Proj. Pts - 33.75 DK Proj. Pts - 35.99 With Eric Bledsoe having been out awhile, Knight has seen the shot volume he should need to hit value. Scoring isn't necessarily the issue for Brandon. It's that he's not doing anything else on the court. In his last two games he's had exactly 5 assists and 2 rebounds, total. That's hot garbage for a guy if he's running the point. It could be some run bad, and if so then we are really buying low on the guy. Because the minutes are for sure there and he is getting shots up early and often. I like buying low on the upside and our system loves him as a play today. Emmanuel Mudiay - FD 4900 DK 5400 Opponent - OKC FD Proj. Pts - 25.04 DK Proj. Pts - 26.12 Should be in line for minutes in the mid-to-high thirties again if Jameer Nelson were to sit again tonight. Mudiay is a terrible shooter (both statistically and the way it looks) but he will push the ball and does attempt to get to the hoop. If he's handling the vast majority of the Denver point guard duties then he has a high floor for these prices. You have to always strongly consider Russell Westbrook and honestly when it all...
