Point Guards John Wall FD - $9200 DK - $9000Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 44.96 DK - 49.08 Wall is back to his old ones since returning from injury, and he's put up 41 or more fantasy points in each of his last 3 starts. Two of those match-ups (NY and MIA) are bottom 10 match-ups, and even Philly isn't the pushover they once were. Phoenix, though? They're back to their old ones as well - allowing the 4th most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season on the back of a a blistering, league fastest 104.8 PACE factor. With Wall unleashed for his normal run of minutes, I expect he'll be the highest owned top tier player on the night. Eric Bledsoe FD - $6900 DK - $6800Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 33.1 DK - 36.53 The guy who will likely be covering him ain't so bad, either. Bledsoe's minutes have bounced around a bit (largely thanks to how bad the Suns are), but the signs are there that he's ready to break back into the offense in a big way. He hoisted 24 shots with TJ Warren out and Devin Booker banged up, and he's likely heading back into the same situation on Monday. If both Booker and Warren are active this pick loses some of its steam, but honestly not that much. Bledsoe has routinely supported mid-$7,000s prices in the past, and was pretty much doing fine until back to back hiccups against the Nuggets and Pacers. The Wizards have actually been pretty tough on opposing point guards this season, but this is more a price consideration than anything else. Point Guards Russell Westbrook FD - $11500 DK - $12000Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 53.15 DK - 58.38 It's a relatively short slate today, and there are precious few ways to spend up. Blessedly, we have Russell Westbrook. Westbrook's worst performance in his last 5 was a 50 fantasy point performance against the Rockets, and there's no reason to think that the above projection is unreasonable. He leads the league in usage by a country mile at an astounding 40%, and he's put up career totals in rebounds while posting double digit assists as well. He's the clear best player in fantasy right now, and a league average match-up with Teague and the Pacers isn't enough to scare us off grabbing him here. Kyle Lowry FD - $8300 DK - $8200Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 37.3 DK - 40.87 Lowry has been good for a steady in unspectacular 40 fantasy points per game basically since the 3rd game of the season, and like Westbrook, is putting up career high in boards while flirting with his career high in assists. Sacramento hasn't been the great fantasy match-up that they were last season largely as a result of their significantly slower pace, but Lowry is consistent enough that that shouldn't matter all too much. He isn't a high upside play here, but should be able to get his way against Ty Lawson.   Jeff Teague FD - $6600 DK - $6800Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 36.7 DK - 39.79 This loses some of its lustre if Paul George is back for sure, but he's been good enough that he warrants an inclusion here. His usage jumps from 25% to 30% with George off the court this season, and he's chipped in 3 straight 5x points per dollar performances with George sidelined. And then there's the Thunder - Russell Westbrook has been too busy just destroying teams on the offensive end to play a whole lot of defense. The Thunder have allowed the fourth most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season, and their 5th fastest pace of play means Teague should have a high floor to go with his reasonably high ceiling. Kershaw has been one of the most, if not the most dominant pitcher in baseball over the last few seasons. He's an absolute force when on the mound and has the highest ceiling. He's that good! The matchup isn't the best against the Giants, but it's Kershaw were talking about! He will be pitching at pitcher-friendly AT&T Park, and isn't too expensive. If your playing cash games, you know where to start. Hisashi Iwakuma FD 8000 DK 8200 Opponent - OAK (Cotton) Park - @SEAFD - 31.19 DK - 20.41 Hisashi Iwakuma is at an excellent price-point, has a great matchup and has had a solid season. What more could you ask for? Eh, maybe a million dollars, but if were talking about selecting a DFS pitcher, he's one of the best SP2 out there tonight! He'll be going up against an A's squad that he's had success against this season. He's delivered a quality start in three out of the four outings against them. Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Early Slate New York Mets vs. Phil Klein (PHI) The pressure is on. Teams are fighting for postseason spots. Jobs are on the line. You're giving it all you got left in the tank. Emotions are higher than ever. It's October baseball baby! Happy October everyone! So without further ado, lets dive into my top three stacks of the day! First on the list are the New York Mets. They will be going up against Phil Klein, who has an ERA over 8. Although, It's not fair to judge him based on that, you have to admit -- 8 is a very intriguing number. He's only got one MLB start under his belt and the rest of his appearances came out of the pen. So I see this becoming a bullpen game for the 'Phils, which is also why I'm on this Mets' squad. The Phillies' bullpen has been one of the worst in the league, as they are sporting a 5.04 ERA (3rd-worst in MLB). Pitching Targets Rick Porcello FD 9800 DK 12600 Opponent - TB (Andriese) Park - @TB FD - 35.65 DK - 23.99 What a season Rick Porcello has had. Besides being the first 20-game winner of the 2016 season, he's also sporting a 3.08 ERA along with a 0.98 WHIP and 3.88 xFIP. He's been real good and let's be honest -- none of us saw him having this type of season (I'm just as guilty). His peripherals are one reason why I'll be plugging him into my lineups, but the other reason is because of his matchup. Today, Porcello and the red-hot Red Sox will be going up against a Rays' team that he's very familiar with. He's faced them five times this season and in those five meetings -- he's delivered a quality start every time. Not only did he deliver quality starts, but he also scored at least 21 (Draftkings) points in each of those contests (that's very impressive). He has the Rays' numbers and they also own 24.2 K% on the year, which is why I'm on the Porcello-train today. Marcus Stroman FD 7600 DK 8500 Opponent - NYY (Sabathia) Park - @TOR FD - 33.11 DK - 21.76 Vegas is all over the Blue Jays today, as they own a -200 money line and I'm also on the Blue Jays-train.
