Lemahieu and Trevor Story are out of today's lineup. Let's consider them as day-to-day until we get another update. Vincent Velasquez was activated from the 15-day DL and will get the nod tonight against the Diamondbacks. Jordy Mercer left Sunday's game with a head injury. We will consider day-to-day for now. Stephen Strasburg was placed on the 15-day DL with a back injury. Brandon Phillips is not in the lineup on Monday against the Cubs. Carlos Santana is out of the lineup on Monday . Top Tournament Stacks Rockies and Blue Jays This is kind of obvious, but the top stacks of the day are the Blue Jays and Rockies. This game features two power-hitting teams. They are both top 10 in SLG and ISO this season and have also hit righties well. Not only are they one of the best power-hitting teams in the league, but they will also be playing at Coors Field. In case you didn't know, Coors Field is every hitters dream. The ball flies out of the bat in a hurry and is the friendliest park to hitters. These two squads are the clear-cut top stacks of the night. 11.5 run-total is very hard to ignore. Rangers Alright if you're trying to get away from Coors Field, I like the idea of stacking the Rangers. I know they were the chalk stacks a few times last week and didn't come through for us, but remember, we can't hold grudges and need a short memory (like Dory from Finding Nemo/Dory. The Rangers aren't a team that demolishes righties (15th in wOBA), but playing at Yankee Stadium (hitter-friendly park) and going up against Ivan Nova will certainly help. On the year, Nova owns a 5.18 ERA to go along with a 4.94 FIP. Things haven't gone his way this season, especially as of late. In his last six starts, he has allowed a total of 26...

Hope to see you there!   Long Ball Targets Rougned Odor FD 3400 DK 4900 Opponent - NYY (Nova) Park - @NYYFD - 9.51 DK - 7.68 First on the list we got, Rougned Odor! I know he is most famous for punching Jose Bautista, but this kid has some power (not just with his punches, but with his bat as well). This season he sports a .216 ISO against right-handed pitchers. Not only do I like his power, but I also like that he will be going up against Ivan Nova. Nova has had a rough going in 2016. He is coming into this contest with an ERA over five and a 1.42 HR/9 rate. I know he's a ground ball pitcher, but he's struggled keeping the ball low in the zone which has hurt him a ton. Look for Odor to have himself a day going up against the struggling righty. This game will take place at Yankee Stadium, so look for Odor to take advantage of the short right field porch. Evan Longoria FD 3600 DK 4700 Opponent - BOS (Rodriguez) Park - @TBFD - 10.51 DK - 8.07v It's Longo Dong Day ladies and gentlemen! I'm all over the Rays today as they crush lefties and will be going up against streaky southpaw, Eduardo Rodriguez. Let's start off by talking about Longo. On the year, he owns a .354 wOBA to go along with a .255 ISO. It's safe to say the Longoria we were all accustomed to...

Daily Fantasy MLB Pitchers for FanDuel & DraftKings 6/27/16

Daily Fantasy MLB Pitchers for FanDuel & DraftKings 6/27/16 Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of the other pitching targets on this slate. We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article but here we will look at other dudes to consider. Now’s your chance to get DFSR Pro with MLB Optimal Lineups, Projections and Player Cards. Or try a free trial of our base package with projections for every player. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Pitching Targets Note: We discussed Jeff Samardzija and Jake Arrieta in the Main Article. And will be going over a few more options below. Trevor Bauer FD 8900 DK 12800 Opponent - ATL (Gant) Park - @ATLFD - 33.85 DK - 18.35 Trevor Bauer started the year off in the bullpen, but when his number was called upon to become join the rotation, he has proven to his teammates and coaches that he should stick in the rotation. He is coming into tonight's contest sporting a 3.20 ERA to go along with a 3.28 FIP. This kid has been everything the Indians had hoped for and more. The one thing I love the most about this kid is his upside. He owns a 22.8 K% to go along with a 7.8 BB%. He has been able to limit the walks (compared to his career), which has helped him not only as a starter, but also as a reliable fantasy option. He will be going up against the Braves today, which is always a good thing, but also a bad thing. The good: The Braves own a .286 wOBA and (29th in MLB) and .096 ISO (30th in MLB) against right-handed pitchers. That sounds like an amazing matchup, so what exactly is the bad? The bad is: The Braves don't K a lot. They own a 19.2 K%, which will take a hit at Bauer's upside. The matchup is a thing of beauty and the Indians' bats are on fire, so I like his chances of picking up the W and delivering a quality start. Go ahead...

A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Colorado Rockies vs. Marco Estrada(TOR) Looks like we got a game at Coors (yippee). And to make things better -- it's on my favorite day of the week. I gotta say, there is nothing better than a Monday slate that involves Coors Field. Alright enough with the sarcasm, let's get to business. Coors is always in play, but if I had to pick between the Blue Jays and the Rockies; I'd go with the Rockies. I have created a list just for you guys on why I prefer a Rockies stack: 1. The Rockies own a .347 wOBA (3rd in MLB) and .199 ISO (2nd in MLB) against right-handed pitchers. They crush righties on a day-to-day basis and we all know what happens when they're playing at home. 2. Marco Estrada is not as good as you think he is. Yeah he's got a good-looking .270 ERA, but his FIP and xFIP are over 4. He is due for regression. Plus his BABIP is at .183. He is going to hit reality very soon. By very soon, I mean tonight. 3....

Daily Fantasy MLB Hitter Stacks FanDuel & DraftKings 6/26/16

Daily Fantasy MLB Hitter Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings- 6/26/16 Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of the other stacking targets on this slate. We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article and our daily pitching breakdown, so here are some teams you can target that could put up big numbers today. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Team Stack Targets A note on the Coors game Normally we'd try to emphasize other stacks than the very most obvious one, but today is something of an exception. This game has a total of 12.5, which is a full 2.5 runs higher than the next two highest games. That's... ridiculous. Now, the Coors game is obviously not a favorite against the field to have the individually highest scoring game, so you may want to do a bit of bobbing and weaving in big tournaments. Still, this game is by far the most likely game to produce the highest scoring team if you pair it up against any other game individually. It's a clear target for cash games, and a reasonable target even as the chalk play in big tournaments. Still, there are some other teams that are on my radar today as well. Cincinnati Reds against Luis Perdomo Fantastic hitter's park and a lousy pitcher, need I say more? Oh man, I feel sick even having said "need I say more." I'll go ahead and say more. If you're not familiar with the work of Luis Perdomo, consider yourself lucky. Perdomo was a rule 5 pick-up from the Cardinals' minor league system who had never pitched above A+ ball in the minors. They plied him to modest success as a reliever, and then pressed...
