DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 3/1
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/1/23 Did the month of February even happen? It blew my mind to write March 1 when preparing this article, but that's just what happens when you're having fun. DFS is a good mixture of fun and chaos, but we feel like we have a great read on how these rotations are playing out right now. It was a bit strange directly out of the trade deadline, but everything is coming together right now. We've also had some big-name injuries recently that will open up some value but let's get started with two of the best point guards in the NBA! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $11000 DK - $11900 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 52.74 DK - 55.48 Fading Lillard would be silly. This sharpshooter took down the three-point contest at All-Star weekend but has been the best scorer in the NBA over the last month. Dame has scored at least 56 DraftKings points in 15 of his last 20 games, averaging nearly 40 raw points per game in that span. He also flashed a 93-point upside just a few days ago, and it's clear Portland will allow Lillard to do everything with Anfernee Simons and Jusuf Nurkic both sidelined. New Orleans is far from scary, allowing 120 points per game in their current 7-20 stretch. In his last four matchups with the Pelicans, Dame is averaging nearly 65 DK points per game! Ja Morant FD - $10000 DK - $9900 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 46.58 DK - 47.94 Ja was dropping jaws on Tuesday night, collecting 39 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists en route to 74 DraftKings points. That's one of the best games of his career, but it becomes less surprising when you see his 50-point average for the year. Ironically, his highest-scoring game before this was in this same matchup against Houston. The Rockets rank 27th in points allowed and 29th in defensive efficiency while surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing point guards. That was on full display when Morant amassed 73 DK points in their one matchup this year, doing that damage across just 31 minutes of play. Dennis Smith...

This week the PGA Tour remains in Florida and heads to the home of Arnies Army, Bay Hill Club & Lodge, for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The big difference this week compared to last week's Honda Classic which kicked off the Florida swing is the field. As always, this event draws an elite field and this year welcomes nine of the Top 10, 23 of the Top 25, and 42 of the Top 50 players in the Official World Golf Rankings. The elite field will be challenged as Bay Hill has ranked as a Top 10 hardest course on tour(including majors!) in five of the last six years and ranked out as the hardest back in 2020. As with most Florida courses, water is a major defence and the win can also wreak havoc on golfers. Next up is the distance as it plays as one of the longest courses on the regular tour schedule and it starts with the Par 3's as they are some of the longest and hardest on tour listed at 199, 215, 221, and 231 yards. Combine that with five of Par 4's that come in over 450 yards and there is a well-above-average amount of long-iron approach shots here. Looking at the shotlink and strokes gained data over the last three years, this is another tournament where the correlations are very even across the board with Strokes Gained: Approach ranking at the top each season. Inside that bubble, I will also be weighing long iron approaches quite high in my model and bombers who are relatively accurate can also gain a ton on the field. With that said, let's look at the course, trends, and dig into some picks. The Course Previous Five Winners 2022 - Scottie Scheffler(-5) 2021 - Bryson DeChambeau(-11) 2020 - Tyrrell Hatton(-4) 2019 - Francesco Molinari(-12) 2018...

Guards LaMelo Ball FD - $10300 DK - $10300 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 50.71 DK - 52.89 All eyes will be on this game as it features the only two teams ranked outside the Top 20 in defensive efficiency. For me, it starts with LaMelo who has picked up where he left off before the break and opened the second half with back-to-back double-doubles, one with rebounds, and one with assists. Going back to the end of January, Ball has been one of the hottest players in the league nearly averaging a triple-double on 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 9.4 assists for just shy of 55 fantasy points per game. On this smaller slate, he is my top guard and top overall play on both sites. Jaden Ivey FD - $6000 DK - $5600 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 30.66 DK - 33.71 On the other side of this fantasy-friendly matchup, we have another player who has been producing excellent PTS/$ numbers in the short term. Ivey comes in with the second-highest usage in the current starting lineup for the Pistons and has taken double-digit shot attempts in five straight while providing 30+ fantasy points in each of those games. This game has a total(236.5) that is 11 points higher than the next highest, the Hornets rank outside the Top 20 in defence, and with a price that is only slowly on the rise, Ivey is a top PTS/$ play for me in all formats Monday. Derrick White FD - $6900 DK - $5500 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 31.38 DK - 33.42 While this matchup is not nearly as fantasy-friendly as the one above, Jaylen Brown will be out for the Celtics which opens up some PTS/$ value at the guard position. The biggest beneficiary of Brown's absence is Derrick White who has averaged over six more shots per game and over 43 fantasy points per game over eight games with no Brown going back to the start of January. There is a bit of risk here as he is dealing with an ankle injury which has me a little less interested on FanDuel at nearly $7K but on DraftKings where the price is still way down in relation to his role, White is a top value and a core play in all...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 2/26
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 2/26/23 It's strange to have half of the games not featured on the main slate, but that's what we've got here! That's common for Sunday slates, though, because the NBA loves to spread these games throughout the day. We're just going to focus on the four games beginning at 7ET because that's when most sites provide their largest prize pools. We have some of the worst defenses in the NBA suiting up among these eight teams, and it should lead to a fun card! With that in mind, let's get started with the three-point champion! Head on for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $10500 DK - $11400 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 50.16 DK - 52.67 It's tough to predict the highest-scoring player on a slate, but Dame has to be one of the top picks on the board. This sharpshooter has scored at least 41 DraftKings points in 19 of his last 20 games, generating a 55-point average in that span. He's scoring nearly 40 raw points per game in that stretch, carrying this offense without Jusuf Nurkic. He's also done most of that damage with Anfernee Simons healthy, and it's scary to think how high his usage will be with Simons sitting this game. A matchup with Houston is the icing on the cake, with the Rockets ranked 28th in total defense while surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing PGs. That's led to Lillard scoring at least 46 fantasy points in seven of their last eight meetings! Jordan Poole FD - $8000 DK - $8500 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 41.38 DK - 43.79 It's been fun watching Poole run this offense in the absence of Stephen Curry. Poole is actually leading the team with a 32 percent usage rate when Curry is on the bench, averaging nearly 40 DraftKings points per game in those outings. The boost in shot attempts, assists, and usage is what's allowing Poole to thrive because stepping into the Chef Curry role would benefit anyone. A matchup with Minnesota is magnificent, too, with the T'Wolves ranked fourth in pace and 20th in total defense. They're also allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing PGs, with Poole...

Guards Tyrese Haliburton FD - $8800 DK - $9400 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 46.33 DK - 49.36 Looking at the top of the salary on Saturday, there are a lot of tough matchups for the top guys which has me drifting toward a more balanced build for this slate. It starts with Haliburton who picked up where he left off right before the break dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds in an OT loss to the Celtics on Thursday. It was the second time he had posted 56 or more fantasy points in his last three games and while there has been some up and downs at these prices, this is a great spot in a game with a 230+ total and one of just two games where both defence's rank in the bottom half. Jordan Clarkson FD - $6900 DK - $7300 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 38.13 DK - 42.71 Talen Horton-Tucker FD - $5900 DK - $5500 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 37.9 DK - 39.98 Speaking of great spots, the late game between the Spurs and Jazz is the prime spot on this slate with a 241.5 total with the teams ranking 30th and 26th in defensive efficiency respectively. Let's start on the Utah side where Collin Sexton remains out of the lineup adding a ton of value to the guard position. Clarkson has been consistent all season and even better in the short term dropping 20+ points in seven of his last eight games while averaging 19 shots a game and with the addition of 4.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists in that time, is averaging just shy of 35 fantasy points. As for Horton-Tucker, he is coming off his second start of the season and while he went just 2 of 11 shooting for nine points, he added seven rebounds, six assists, and three combined steals+blocks for over 31 fantasy points. He is primed for another start tonight and if the shooting gets back to normal, he has a high floor for cash and lots of upside for GPP's at this sub $6K price tag on both sites. Both guards are in great spots against the Spurs league-worst defence and are in play in all formats. Malaki Branham FD - $5700 DK - $5200 Opponent -...
