GOALIE Jordan Binnington FD - $8100 DK - $8400 Opponent - CBJ Proj Pts FD - 17.41 DK - 13.81 Binnington is starting to heat up as the calendar flips to November as he enters this game having allowed two or fewer goals against in four of his last five starts bringing his save % up to .918 for the season. He and the Blues are at home tonight as big -175 favorites in a plus matchup against the Blue Jackets who have struggled offensively scoring just 2.6 goals per game(25th). With the Jackets averaging over 32 shots per game and the Blues allowing just over 30 per game this gives Binnington a high floor and ceiling making him easily my top goalie in all formats. Petr Mrazek FD - $7500 DK - $8000 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 17.07 DK - 13.35 Home goalies are the theme tonight and up next is Petr Mrazek who has been terrific to start the season going 6-1-1 with a .917 save % and two shutouts. He has one of the deepest defensive corps in the league in front of him which does limit the shots he faces but he and the Canes get a terrific matchup as huge -260 favorites against the Red Wings who have dropped eight of their last nine games and rank 28th in offense(2.3 goals per game). Like I said above, Binnington is my top guy tonight but if you need the savings Mrazek is also a great play in all formats. Also Consider: Jacob Markstrom(VAN) CENTERS Bo Horvat FD - $6100 DK - $6800 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 13.61 DK - 10.82 The Canucks rebuild is blossoming nicely and they are off to a great start to the season sitting near the top of the conference with an 8-3-1 record. One of the major contributors has been Bo Horvat who leads all Canucks forwards in ice-time(19.1...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/29/19 Welcome back hockey fans. After a slow Monday we are back with nine games on the slate Tuesday night so let's jump right in and take a look at some core plays at each position. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NHL optimizer! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA? Be sure to read our free NBA Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Tuukka Rask FD - $9000 DK - $8400 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 16.54 DK - 13.02 The Bruins are off to a red-hot start on the back of a Top 10 offense and a league-leading defense that is allowing just 2.1 goals per game despite an overall lack of depth on defense. More than making up for that, however, has been the play of Tuukka Rask who leads the league with an elite .952 save % and he has also tallied a shutout in two of his last four starts. He now faces a Sharks team that has dropped two straight on the road scoring just three total goals and they rank outside the Top 20 in offense on the season scoring just 2.6 goals per game. All things considered, Rask is my top goalie in all formats. Connor Hellebuyck FD - $7600 DK - $7700 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 18.04 DK - 13.48 From a PTS/$ perspective, Hellebuyck has been a near-elite fantasy option early in the season. He comes in under $8K on both sites and while the wins(5-4) have been hard to come by with an inconsistent offense in front of him, he has been terrific with a .933 save %(6th best in league) while facing 33 shots per game. It is that volume that gives him both a high floor and ceiling and he now gets a plus matchup as well against a Ducks team that ranks bottom five in the league in scoring to start the year. I don't think we need to go here in cash games but at these prices, he makes a great GPP play that not only gives us upside but also a lot of savings to help jam in a top team stack. Also Consider: Andrei Vasilevskiy(TB) as a big -190 favorite against a Rangers team that has lost six of their last seven games scoring two or fewer goals five times CENTERS Patrice Bergeron FD - $7500 DK - $7600 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 17.79 DK - 12.46 The Bruins...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/24/19 Welcome back hockey fans. After a quiet two-game slate last night, we are back with a very busy Thursday with 10 games on the schedule. Let's jump in and take a look at some of my core plays at each position. GOALIE Pekka Rinne FD - $8700 DK - $8300 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 18.5 DK - 14.74 While the record doesn't show it(5-3-1), the Predators are off to a hot start ranked #1 in offense scoring 4.2 goals per game and all three regulation losses were with the backup goalie in net. Rinne has been terrific to start the year holding opponents to two or fewer goals in five of his six starts(.921 save %) while facing just over 29 shots per game. Tonight, he and the Preds get a plus matchup against a Wild team that has been terrible on the road going 1-5 while scoring just 1.7 goals per game. All things considered, Rinne is my top goalie in all formats. Ben Bishop FD - $8400 DK - $8200 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 19.08 DK - 14.22 Right in the same price range on both sites is Ben Bishop who makes a nice GPP pivot off Rinne who is the likely chalk tonight. He hasn't been as good overall(2-4-1, .913 save %) but is coming off a 38 save win over the Flyers and is in a great spot at home tonight as a -150 favorite against the Ducks who rank 26th in offense scoring just 2.4 goals per game. I am definitely leaning Rinne in cash games tonight but if you have built a lineup you absolutely love and need the couple hundred in savings I wouldn't talk you off Bishop at all. Also Consider: Jordan Binnington(STL) in all formats as a -195 favorite and his best value comes on FanDuel under $8K CENTERS Jack Eichel FD - $8400 DK - $7900 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 17.67 DK - 12.85 Since coming into the league in 2015, Eichel has improved on his point total every season(56, 57, 64, 82) and after a torrid start this year(14 points in 10 games), is well on his way to setting yet another career-high. For fantasy, he also adds value blocking shots and is third among centers...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/17/19 Welcome back hockey fans. GOALIE Marc-Andre Fleury FD - $8900 DK - $8400 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 19.42 DK - 15.72 After two days off, Fleury is expected back between the pipes tonight in a plus matchup as a -290 favorite against the Senators who sit near the bottom of the league in offense scoring just 2.4 goals per game. Fleury is coming off a big loss to the Preds where he allowed five goals but it was only the second time in seven games he has allowed more than two goals and has an impressive .922 save % to start the year. As long as he continues to see 30+ shots per game(5 of 6 starts) he has big-time value in all formats with a high floor and ceiling. Alexandar Georgiev FD - $7700 DK - $7700 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 15.47 DK - 11.25 If you are looking to go the value route tonight, Rangers backup, Alexander Georgiev will be getting his second start of the season after impressing with a 31 save win over Ottawa back on October 5. The game opens as a pickem with the Rangers going into New Jersey but the matchup lines up as the Devils are the only team that has yet to record a win while averaging just 2.2 goals per game. Trusting a backup goalie on the road is not the best way to go for cash games, but Georgiev gives us a ton of salary relief in a plus matchup and is an excellent option in GPP formats tonight.  CENTERS Mika Zibanejad FD - $7600 DK - $7800 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 15.53 DK - 10.98 Jack Eichel FD - $8300 DK - $7600 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 15.23 DK - 10.65 It will be very hard to not build a lineup with one of these two centers tonight. Let's start with Zibanejad who has tallied...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/2/19

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/2/19 The season begins with a smaller four-game slate but does it really matter? Hockey is back! In the following article, I will go over a few core plays I will be using in my lineups on both FanDuel and DraftKings. Let's get started. GOALIE Frederik Andersen FD - $8700 DK - $8400 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 22.27 DK - 16.56 With just four games on the slate, I am going to be paying up for Frederik Anderson who may not be the best goalie on the slate(I see you Jordan Binnington) but he is easily in the best spot on opening night. The Leafs open at home as -290 favorites against the Senators who finished last season ranked dead last in offense and projected to have similar results this season as well. More good news for Andersen as he provides us a very high floor and ceiling as he faced the fourth-most shots against per 60 minutes(goalies with 50+ GP) last season. All things considered, he is my top goalie in all formats. Mikko Koskinen FD - $7500 DK - $7200 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 18.15 DK - 13.48 If you are looking to go the value route and load up on a top stack tonight, Koskinen makes sense in the mid $7K range on both sites. He was good, not great in his full first season as the starter in Edmonton and over 55 games(51 starts) he tallied a .906 save % with four shutouts and like Andersen faced a ton of shots(31.1 per 60) helping out with his PTS/$ floor. He and the Oilers also open in a plus matchup against the Canucks who ranked 26th in offense last season and didn't really make many waves in the offseason to upgrade their lineup. All in all, Koskinen is my top value goalie of the night. Aldo Consider: Jordan Binnington(STL) as a GPP play in a tougher matchup vs. Ovi and the Capitals CENTERS John Tavares FD - $7800 DK - $7500 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 20.2 DK - 15.62 Auston Matthews FD - $8300 DK - $7700 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 20.71 DK - 16.07 Alexander Kerfoot FD - $4200 DK - $3200 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 9.34 DK...
