On that note, though, there are a couple of veteran goalies that have been playing well and they both have home matchups against teams who will be playing in back-to-back games. Let's start with King Henrik who stopped 40 of 42 shots last game and even though he's lost his last two starts, he's been playing awesome and he had six wins in a row previously. Ottawa is solid offensively, but they will be tired and Lundqvist is a solid play in all formats. Jimmy Howard FD - $8000 DK - $8000 Opponent - COL Proj Pts FD - 13.07 DK - 3.27 I'm thinking that it may be a good idea to split our exposure to these two tenders today. Howard has been stellar in his last four starts as he is 3-0-1 while allowing only six goals in those four starts. The Av's are also solid offensively, but they will also be tired this evening and they only scored two goals on Saturday in Nashville. I am planning on using both of these guys in cash games, but I slightly prefer Howard in GPP lineups because I feel that he won't be as popular as King Henrik. GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9400 DK - $8100 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 15.28 DK - 3.82 It hasn't been just the offense for the Lightning leading them to the best record in hockey. Their defense and goaltending have also been operating at an elite level as Vasilevskiy leads the league with a tremendous 13-1-1 record and has posted a 2.32 GAA and .930 save percentage. Tonight they are home to the Stars and sit as early -165 favorites and while the Stars have been dangerous on home ice, they have really struggled on the road going 3-6-1 while scoring just 2.5 goals per game. Vasilevskiy is my top goalie in all formats tonight. Charlie Lindgren FD - $8300 DK - $8300 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 15.85 DK - 3.97 Lindgren is coming off a hard-luck overtime loss to the Blue Jackets on Tuesday but I am going right back to him tonight in GPP formats, especially on FanDuel where he is the 11th highest priced option between the pipes. If the Habs had any offense at all(ranked 30th) Lindgren would still be undefeated in Carey Price's absence as he still has yet to allow more than two goals against in a game and sits with an elite 1.39 GAA and .957 save percentage. He will be making his sixth straight start tonight and gets a much better matchup vs. the Coyotes who rank dead last in both offense and defense this season. I am not at all worried as he sandwiched a huge 33-save win in the middle of those starts vs. the Dallas Stars and now he gets an elite matchup against the leagues worst team. The Arizona Coyotes rank 30th overall in offense(2.32 goals per game), have lost four straight games, and still have not reached double-digit points on the season. Despite the poor performances recently, Hellebuyck enters tonight with a terrific .926 save % and should be a near lock to notch his ninth win of the season. All things considered, he is safe in all formats. Charlie Lindgren FD - $8000 DK - $7700 Opponent - CBJ Proj Pts FD - 15.25 DK - 3.8 If you are looking for a potential low-owned GPP value play tonight, take a shot with Charlie Lindgren who has been excellent in Carey Price's absence. He has made four starts, winning three, and has yet to allow more than two goals giving him an elite 1.24 GAA and .964 save % on the season. Tonight he gets a tougher matchup vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets but the Habs are early home favorites as they have started to turn their season around with wins in four of their last five games. The Devils are ranked seventh offensively, but that shouldn't be a problem as the BlackHawks are ranked second in defense while allowing only 2.44 goals per game. We can expect Chicago to be fairly large favorites to win this evening and Crawford is an elite play in all formats. The Oilers are another team in a back-to-back scenario and they are ranked dead last offensively with only 2.33 goals per game, but they fire a second-best 36.6 shots on goal per game which is great news for Holtby and he is also an elite play this evening in all formats.
