That is great news as he not only gets a terrific matchup vs. the Canucks who are 5-13 since the start of February and rank 23rd in road offense, but he has also been playing great lately. He has won three straight starts allowing just four total goals and is 7-1-1 over his last 10 games with a whopping .944 save % and two shutouts. Fire him up in all formats.   CENTERS Mathew Barzal FD - $6200 DK - $6300 Opponent - CGY Proj Pts FD - 12.76 DK - 3.61 While I normally play cash games, today I will be concentrating solely on GPP lineups and I love taking the discount off the top options at center and rolling with Barzal. He leads all rookies with 69 points on the season which also places him in a tie for 15th overall. He doesn't provide a safe floor as the shot volume is not in the same area as others but the upside is huge as he already has 15 multi-point efforts and has tallied three five-point games. Today's matchup is also better than it appears as the Flames rank down in 26th when looking at home defense allowing 3.1 goals per game. What makes things even sweeter is the fact that the Habs own the league's 29th ranked offense but they fire the seventh most shots on goal and they were just shutout by the Panthers while getting blanked on all 40 shots. The Lightning are listed as massive -310 favorites and Vasilevskiy is an elite play and my top goalie in all formats for the early slate. While the Blue Jackets are playing a back to back and third game in four nights, so are their opponents who got shutout last night against the Golden Knights. The Red Wings have also struggled offensively this season ranking 28th overall and now go into Columbus to a face the #2 home defense. Bobrovsky isn't having a Vezina-type season but has been better lately winning three of his last four starts while posting a .930 save %. All things considered, Bob is my top goalie and safe in all formats. Also Consider: Devan Dubnyk(MIN) in GPP formats CENTERS Tyler Seguin FD - $8300 DK - $7400 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 17.32 DK - 5.05 Even on a small slate, there are a couple elite options at the top of the center position and I will be leading off(sorry baseball season coming) with Tyler Seguin. He provides us with a very high floor as he sits third in the league in shots with 269(4.0 per game) and also brings a ton of upside with 36 goals(4th overall) and 62 points. Rinne is a terrific 17-1-1 in his last 19 games to go along with a stifling .928 save %, 2.29 GAA, and seven shutouts. The Ducks have been playing better of late, but they still own the league's 19th ranked offense and Rinne most recently earned a shutout against a solid Stars offense, so I'm not the least bit concerned this evening. Rinne is equivalent to a brick wall right now and he is an elite play and my top goalie in all formats. Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9200 DK - $8500 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 14.29 DK - 3.57 If all you are worried about when rostering a goalie is earning the 12 points on Fanduel and four points over at Draftkings for the win then this is your guy but I will warn you that he could very well allow more than a couple of goals in the process. He has struggled pretty much all season with a 7-10-3 record and .898 save % but has been playing his best hockey most recently as he has won three straight games against some powerful offenses in Toronto, Tampa Bay, and Boston while giving up just five total goals(.951 save %). More good news as the Flames have been struggling lately losing four straight while scoring just six goals in that span. Even if you can't get away from cash games I would still recommend Johnson tonight. For me, I will be playing more heads to heads than double-ups. Also Consider: Jacob Markstrom(VAN)   CENTERS Evgeni Malkin FD - $9100 DK - $7700 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 18.67 DK - 5.43 Even on a three-game slate, there is always a way to fit in a superstar player. Enter Evgeni Malkin who has been lights out lately with 19 points over his last 10 games with 33 shots on goal giving him a very high floor and ceiling. Tonight he gets a matchup vs. the Flyers who were red hot when Mrazek came over in a trade but have cooled off to sub-zero temperatures as they have dropped three straight while giving up 15 goals against.
