Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/29/18 Thursday brings us an eight-game slate with no teams playing back to back and just one team(OTT) playing a third in four nights. GOALIE Pekka Rinne FD - $9100 DK - $8500 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 20.57 DK - 5.14 Rinne is the most expensive goalie on the slate tonight but it will be hard to get away from him in cash games for a couple reasons. First of all, he and the Preds are huge -245 favorites against a Coyotes team that sits near the bottom of the league in scoring(2.4 goals per game) in have lost eight of their last 11 games. For Rinne, he has been outstanding once again this season leading the league in GAA(1.77) and save %(.938) helping the Preds to the #1 overall defense. He is our top projected goalie from a raw points persepctive and a great play in all formats. Marc-Andre Fleury FD - $8600 DK - $8100 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 19.66 DK - 4.91 If Fleury was on home ice tonight it would be very close between he and Rinne but the matchup still has him as a top play tonight. He and teh Golden Knights are -160 favorites as they travel to Vancouver to take on the struggling Canucks who have dropped nine of their last 10 games while scoring just 21 goals. After an inconsistent start to the season, Fleury has started to really heat up winning five straight and six of his last seven starts while recording a .940 save % and three shutouts. The only concern for me tonight is that Fleury has faced under 30 shots per game on the season while the Canucks take less than 30 shots per game but Fleury leads the league in shutouts(5) which gives him big upside in a terrific matchup. I will lean on him more in GPP formats but the case can be made for him in cash with his discount off Rinne. Also Consider: Tuukka Rask(BOS) in GPP formats   CENTERS Mark...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/27/18

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/27/18 Tuesday brings us a big 10-game slate with just one team(OTT) playing on a back to back and one other team(LAK) playing a third game in four nights. With the season a little over the quarter mark, I will be starting to implement more advanced stats on the cheatsheets and in my articles courtesy of NaturalStatTrick. Let's jump in and take a look at some of the top plays at each position. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB optimizer and our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Carter Hutton FD - $7900 DK - $8100 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 15.94 DK - 3.99 Tonight I will be starting with Carter Hutton and the hottest team in the league. The Sabres come into this matchup on a nine-game winning streak and now sit just one point behind the Lightning for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. I am not sure anyone saw this big of a turnaround a season after they finished with the league's worst record. A lot of the success comes in part of their new #1 goalie, Carter Hutton who has been phenomenal lately winning seven straight while allowing just 13 goals on 198 shots(.934 save %). Tonight the Sabres are at home vs. the Sharks who have been shut out in back to back road games and have lost four of their last five road games. Hutton also comes at a bit of a discount from some of the other top goalies making him a terrific PTS/$ option in all formats. Devan Dubnyk FD - $9100 DK - $8500 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 20.07 DK - 5.02 It will be hard to trust Dubnyk in cash games tonight as he is not only at the top of the salary on both sites but has struggled lately going 5-4 in his last 10 starts(pulled in his last start) with a .898 save %. I do like him as a GPP pivot tonight as the ownership could be lower due to those factors and he also gets an elite matchup. The Wild are at home against a Coyotes team that has lost four straight and eight of their last 10 games while scoring just 18 goals and now rank 29th overall on offense. With a combination of low ownership and big upside, Dubnyk is a great play in large...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/23/18

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/23/18 After a night off for Thanksgiving, the NHL is back with a massive schedule on Friday that includes 15 games. It starts with an early afternoon game between the Flyers and Rangers and if you want to play that game you will have to play the all-day slates. For this article, I will be looking at the top plays at each position for early and main slates. Let's get started. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB optimizer and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with MLB? Be sure to read our free MLB Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Early Slate Carter Hutton FD - $7900 DK - $8300 Opponent - MON Proj Pts FD - 16.85 DK - 4.21 The goalie position isn't very deep on the early slate today but one name that stands out above the rest is Carter Hutton. He signed a three-year contract in the offseason in hopes of becoming a #1 goalie for the first time after impressing as a backup for the Blues. He has taken that role and run with it in Buffalo and comes in red-hot having won six straight games and pushing his save % up to .917 for the season. He has also been better at home this season going 6-2-1 and is a -135 home favorite against the Habs who have dropped two straight and six of their last 10 games. Fire up Hutton in all formats. Also Consider: Braden Holtby(WSH) in GPP formats Main Slate Martin Jones FD - $8300 DK - $8300 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 13.88 DK - 3.47 Aaron Dell FD - $7800 DK - $8100 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 14.82 DK - 3.7 Jones is the clear starter for the Sharks this season and is projected to start on Friday night and despite those struggles is in a terrific spot. The Sharks are huge -270 home favorites against a struggling Canucks team that has lost seven straight and eight of their last nine games and are scoring under three goals per game on the road this season(18th). The save % has yet to be there for Jones this season but he(6-2-2) and the Sharks(7-3-2) have both been better on home ice. It comes down to matchup and whoever starts for the Sharks tonight is in play in all formats. Also Consider: Pekka Rinne(NSH) who has been good on the road(3-1-1, .943 save %) facing a Blues...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/21/18 Welcome back hockey fans. The NHL has a bit of a weird schedule this week with Thanksgiving and gives us a huge 14-game slate tonight where all but three teams will be playing. That leaves us a ton of options at each price point so let's dig in and take a look at some of the top plays at each position. GOALIE Pekka Rinne FD - $9200 DK - $8500 Opponent - STL Proj Pts FD - 16.98 DK - 4.25 There are a ton of options at the goalie position tonight but some of the top guys have had their struggles lately. That has not been the case for Rinne who continues to be an elite option as he has gone 7-1-1 over his last 10 games(relief appearance for Saros in one) with a .947 save % and two shutouts. He leads the league in both GAA(1.69) and save %(.942) and is a huge reason the Preds rank #1 in defense this season. Tonight, he and the Preds are -185 favorites at home facing a Blues team that has been worse on the road scoring just 2.4 goals per game and have lost four of their last five games. Fire up Rinne in all formats. Semyon Varlamov FD - $8100 DK - $8300 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 15.87 DK - 3.97 Second in line for me tonight is Semyon Varlamov and while he struggled losing five straight at the end of October/start of November, he has bounced back nicely. He has now won two straight over the Oilers and Bruins improving his record to 6-5-2 on the season but more impressive is the .926 save % despite those recent struggles. He now gets a terrific matchup on the road against a Kings team that has scored over two goals just once in the last six games and rank dead last in offense on the season scoring just an average of 2.00 goals per game. The Avs are only small -115 favorites as of writing this so I will be using Varlamov primarily in GPP formats tonight. Also Consider: Devan Dubnyk(MIN) in GPP formats as a huge -240 favorite at home vs. the Senators CENTERS Jack Eichel FD - $7300 DK - $7400 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/17/18

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/17/18 Welcome back hockey fans. Saturday starts with three afternoon matchups but for this article, I will be concentrating on the eight-game main slate that includes two teams(STL, BOS) who are playing a back to back and third game in four nights. Let's jump in and take a look at some of the top plays at each position. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB optimizer and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with MLB? Be sure to read our free MLB Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Pekka Rinne FD - $9100 DK - $8500 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 17.55 DK - 4.39 The Predators offense couldn't get Rinne the win on Thursday as he allowed just two against and for the season he has only given up more than two goals twice and has yet to give up more than three goals in 10 starts. Put it all together and he has some elite numbers and leads the lead with a 1.53 GAA and .948 save %. He now returns home where he has been even better(.956 save % and two shutouts) and faces a Kings team that not onyl struggles defensively but also ranks dead last in offense scoring just 1.94 goals per game. Rinne is more than worth the price tag in all formats. Also Consider: Martin Jones(SJ) in all formats as a -200 home favorite against a Blues team that is playing on a back to back and third game in four nights on the road or Carey Price(MON) in GPP formats facing a Canucks team that has lost four straight scoring just eight goals   CENTERS **If you can fit them Connor McDavid and Evgeni Malkin are elite plays at the position and in great spots but for this article, I will be going in a different position.** Mika Zibanejad FD - $7200 DK - $6700 Opponent - FLA Proj Pts FD - 12.3 DK - 4.78 This isn't the first time I have mentioned Zibanejad and it likely won't be the last. Despite the Rangers in somewhat of a rebuild situation this season, Zibanejad has provided excellent fantasy value starting with a high floor as he is averaging 3.8 shots on goal per game and a 17.6 iCorsi/60 which leads all centers on this slate. Then there is the upside as he is skating over 20 minutes per game on the top line and powerplay unit and has already tallied 16 points(6 on...
