WIDE RECEIVER VALUES Cole Beasley FD 5200 DK 3900 Opponent SF Proj Points FD - 11.1 DK - 13.88 With the news that Dez Bryant will miss some time with a leg injury, Cole Beasley solidifies his role as Dak’s top target guy. Beasley was already there, topping the team with 25 looks through three games and that stands to continue with the passing game taking a hit without its WR1. Beasley isn’t a bi favorite to get into the end zone as his profile doesn’t line up as a red zone guy, but double digit looks are more than in play from Dak. Prescott’s been accurate this season with a 67% completion rate and the Cowboys definitely want to play a possession game. Beasley gives them this and his prices on both site offer a solid floor. Also consider Terrance Williams if some of Dez’s targets go that way as well. Travis Benjamin FD 6600 DK 5900 Opponent NO Proj Points FD - 13.34 DK - 15.83 Tyrell Williams FD 6400 DK 4400 Opponent NO Proj Points FD - 13.33 DK - 15.66 While I think Benjamin is more of the popular play across the industry, Williams is right there with him in terms of targets (21-to-20 in favor of Benjamin). Yet there’s a big disparity between their prices on DraftKings. Both obviously get a dream matchup against the Saints in this one with New Orleans ranked 27th in DVOA against the pass. They’ve had “success” against WR1s though some of those metrics are suspect with their matchups. I’m all over these two guys in tournaments and possibly a little higher on Williams considering Benjamin could be more a chalky play. Williams has had a more difficult time converting though the YPC is outpacing Benjamin 18.3 to 13.5. Steve Smith FD 6100 DK 4500 Opponent OAK Proj Points FD - 12.59 DK - 15.36 Through three weeks Smith leads the...
Daily Fantasy Football Running Back Values for FanDuel and DraftKings – Week 4 10/2/16
Daily Fantasy Football Running Back Values for FanDuel and DraftKings - Week 4 10/2/16 We covered our main cash game plays in our Week 4 Picks where we touched on Melvin Gordon, Lamar Miller, Jordan Howard, David Johnson and LeGarrette Blount. For this piece we will touch on some of the cheaper targets you can use for salary relief and/ or GPP upside. In case you didn’t notice, we just released our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. RUNNING BACK VALUES Dwayne Washington FD 4500 DK 3800 Opponent CHI Proj Points FD - 8.97 DK - 9.33 Theo Riddick FD 6600 DK 5200 Opponent CHI Proj Points FD - 11.28 DK - 13.79 The Lions had a near impossible time running the ball last week against the Packers with Theo Riddick getting a fat load of nothing going and Washington only banging out less than four yards per carry. Green Bay ranks number one in DVOA against the run this year while the Bears are 26th. It stands to reason things get easier for the Lions. And I think we will see Washington become at least a two-down back, between the tackles guy in this matchup. It’s hard to totally trust the volume as Riddick should be on the field a fair amount. But swapping in one or the other in tournaments on the chance one emerges as the guy in a better matchup is a fair play. Orleans Darkwa FD 4500 DK 3000 Opponent MIN Proj Points FD - 10.51 DK - 11.46 The Giants are just decimated at running back right now having lost Shane Vereen for the year and with Rashad Jennings nursing some hand issues which could compromise his ability to handle the rock. That leaves a guy like Orleans Darkwa with a solid opportunity. Darkwa carried the ball ten times for 53 yards last game while also catching a ball out of the backfield. He could be in line for touches in the mid-to-upper teens this Monday against the Vikings. Now the concern here is twofold. One, the G-Men might employ a RBBC with guys like Bobby Rainey and/or Paul Perkins. Additionally, Minnesota is a top notch defense, ranked in the top five in DVOA against the run. Darkwa is a price play if you think he sees the touches though I don’t think he has upper echelon upside. Jerick McKinnon...

QUARTERBACKS Andrew Luck FD 8900 DK 7400 Opponent JAX Proj Points FD - 24.21 DK - 25.48 There are two truths going down in DFS NFL this week and they are we have teams facing the Jaguars and the Saints. That’s basically about all you’re going to need to know going in. Now the one issue with the Colts-Jags is the game is being played in London at 9:30 AM EST (thanks a lot England for snootily being in a different time zone) and it isn’t on the main slate of games. That’s a shame because Jacksonville’s continued their futility against really just about everyone and Luck is in a fantastic spot again this week. There are still some shoulder concerns and the Colts didn’t throw the ball a ton against San Diego last week, but they still have one of the highest implied totals on the board. And Luck should remain a high volume thrower. Alas, we can’t play him in the bog tournaments but he alone is almost worth playing the early slate. Cam Newton FD 9300 DK 7800 Opponent ATL Proj Points FD - 24.64 DK - 25.35 The Panthers’ fans got a good scare on Sunday when Cam was forced out of the game and Derek Anderson came trotting on to the field. That’s enough to make any fan base take a collective dump in their pants. But Newton returned a play later so all was right in the world. Well, almost right because Carolina went on to lose the game to the Vikings. The good news...
