Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 14 – 12/10/17
Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 14 - 12/10/17 Welcome back fantasy football fans. For most season-long players, it's the opening week of playoffs and for those of you missed the playoffs, welcome to daily fantasy football where the fun never ends! It's Week 14 is upon us and the matchups are getting tougher as the playoffs are approaching and it shows as there are no Vegas total over 50 this week. Before digging into the top stacks for GPP's, let's take a look at some of the injury news that could affect our decision making. Amari Cooper - He cleared the concussion protocol this week but is still dealing with an ankle injury and has yet to resume practicing. He is doubtful to play on Sunday. Expect a large target share for Michael Crabtree, who returns from a suspension, and Jared Cook. Matthew Stafford - Dealing with a hand injury after being stepped on last week but has practiced this week and is fully expected to play in a near must-win situation for the Lions. Tyrod Taylor - Will be a game-time decision this week with a knee injury. Rishard Matthews - Was upgraded to a full participant at practice on Thursday on is very likely to return to action after missing a couple games. Robby Anderson - Suffered a hamstring injury at Thursday's practice and is questionable for Sunday's game against Denver. Stay tuned for the Friday practice report. Joe Mixon - Still in the concussion protocol and has yet to practice this week. If he is not cleared before the game, Giovani Bernard would step in and have huge value this week. Zach Ertz - Was limited at Thursday's practice but has yet to clear the concussion protocol. He is likely to clear on Friday but is questionable at this time. Jimmy Graham - Similar to last week, he has yet to practice with an ankle injury but is expected to play. Ameer Abdullah - Limited in practice this week after missing the Week 13 game. If he does not return Theo Riddick would again hold some fantasy value as the likely starter. Adrian Peterson - Missed last week and was not present at practice on Thursday and is once again questionable. Delanie Walker - Has yet to practice this week with an ankle injury and is very questionable to play. Chris Hogan - Practiced in a limited fashion for the second straight day on Thursday and is likely to return to the field on Sunday. Sterling Shepard - Was limited at Thursday's practice with a hamstring injury but the interim coach is "hopeful" he will be on the field Sunday. If you are looking for...
Daily Fantasy Football Injury Update and Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 13 – 12/3/17
Daily Fantasy Football Injury Update & Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 13 - 12/3/17 Welcome back fantasy football fans. Can you believe we are already in the home stretch of the regular season? It has been an odd year in a lot of ways from a fantasy perspective but with the help of our articles, podcasts, and premium tools, I hope you are having a successful season. Either way, we here at DFSR are primed to finish strong. Before jumping into my top stacks for this week, let's take a look at some of the injuries that could affect our decisions going into Sunday's action. LeSean McCoy - Didn't practice on Friday and is listed as questionable but there doesn't seem to be much concern with his availability on Sunday. Be sure to check the reports prior to lineup lock. Lamar Miller - Sat out Wednesday but returned to a limited practice on Thursday. This was to be expected on a short week and I have no doubt he will be out there on Sunday. DeAndre Hopkins - Upgraded to a full participant in practice and good to go on Sunday. Christian McCaffrey & Greg Olsen - Coach Ron Rivera said both players status will be determined on Saturday. Even if Olsen plays, I will be avoiding this week as he was absent from practice all week. Adrian Peterson - Was absent from practice all week and is questionable with a neck injury. Derrick Henry & DeMarco Murray - No injuries to report but coach Mike Mularkey told reporters he planned to continue to use his running backs in a timeshare. YAY! Amari Cooper & Michael Crabtree - Cooper was absent from Friday's practice with an ankle injury and concussion and is unlikely to play on Sunday. His teammate, Michael Crabtree, will serve his one-game suspension this week after an altercation with Aquib Talib last week. JuJu Smith-Schuster - After missing last week's game with a hamstring injury, is back practicing in full this week and will play this week in Cincinnati. Rishard Matthews - Returned to a limited practice on Friday after missing last week's game but remains questionable for Sunday. Ty Montgomery & Aaron Jones - Montgomery has been ruled out(ribs) and will miss his third straight game while Jones has resumed practice and is likely to return this week in a committee role with Jamaal Williams. Matt Forte - Questionable with a knee injury but fully expected to play on Sunday. Doug Martin - Has yet to resume practicing after sustaining a concussion last week. This brings Jacquizz Rodgers and Peyton Barber into the value running back conversation this week. Cameron Brate - Listed...
Daily Fantasy Football Injury Updates and Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 12 – 11/26/17
Daily Fantasy Football Injury Updates and Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 12 - 11/26/17 Welcome back daily fantasy football fans. I hope everyone had a terrific Thanksgiving and enjoyed the triple-header but it's now time to dip out feet into the Sunday slate. Before getting into my top stacks for GPP formats this week, let's take a look at some of the injury situations to monitor as lineup lock approaches. Devonta Freeman - Ruled out for Week 12 vs. the Buccaneers with a concussion. This will give full run of the backfield to Tevin Coleman who once again makes a nice value play. JuJu Smith-Schuster - Ruled out(hamstring) against the Packers in a terrific matchup. This gives a boost in value to Martavis Bryant who should see extra targets this week. Greg Olsen - Panthers have activated Greg Olsen with full expectation he will play on Sunday. Jimmy Graham - Was listed as Did Not Practice on both Wednesday and Thursday and is considered questionable for Week 12. Stay tuned for his Friday and gameday status. Ty Montgomery - Has not practiced all week for the Packers and is questionable for Sunday but more likely doubtful giving Jamaal Williams added value in the backfield once again. Jacoby Brissett - Has been dealing with a concussion but was cleared and is not listed on the Colts final injury report. Leonard Fournette - Still dealing with some pain with his ankle but is not listed on the injury report. Good to go as a RB1 this week and it's positive that he played through the pain last week and rushed 28 times for 111 yards. Jay Cutler - Has been ruled out for Week 12 with a concussion. Matt Moore will get the start. Robert Woods - After suffering a shoulder injury last week vs. the Vikings, Woods will miss this week and possibly another week or two. I look for more targets to go Sammy Watkins and Cooper Kupp's way moving forward. Rob Gronkowski - Confirmed he will be active after dealing with an illness earlier in the week. Fire him up as a TE1 vs. the Dolphins. Julio Jones - Was dealing with multiple injuries this week(ankle, knee) but is not listed on the final Falcons injury report. This is great news as he gets an elite matchup. See below. Rishard Matthews - Late addition to the Titans injury report as he did not practice on Friday with a hamstring injury. He is listed as questionable and if he is ruled out, makes Corey Davis an excellent value play. Kelvin Benjamin, Jordan Matthews, Charles Clay - The Bills will be in a tough spot this week in...
Daily Fantasy Football Injury Update and Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 11 – 11/19/17
Daily Fantasy Football Injury Update and Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 11 - 11/19/17 Welcome back for another week of daily fantasy football. It's the final time this season we have to deal with bye weeks and the final four teams getting a rest are the Colts, Jets, 49ers, and Panthers. Also noteworthy is that the Patriots and Raiders game will be hosted at Estadio Azteca Stadium in Mexico City which is just over 2,000 feet more above sea level than Denver, Colorado. This will most definitely affect the kicking game so on FanDuel be sure to give strong consideration to Stephen Gostowski and Giorgio Tevecchio. Before getting into my top stacks for the week, let's take a look at some of the key injuries to monitor. Phillip Rivers - Was questionable early in the week with a concussion but was cleared on Thursday and was a full participant in practice. He is good to go for Week 11 vs. Buffalo. Julio Jones - Was limited in practice this week but there is no concern for him missing the game Monday night vs. the Seahawks. He gets an upgrade this week with Richard Sherman out for the season. Jameis Winston - Remains out with a shoulder injury. Ryan Fitzpatrick will start for the Bucs this week. Alshon Jeffery - Dealing with an ankle injury but declared he will play this week and has been dealing with the injury for awhile. Devonta Freeman - Doubtful with a concussion. If out, and it is fully expected, Tevin Coleman becomes a top value in fantasy under $6K on both sites. Dez Bryant - Returned to practice on Thursday after not doing so until Friday last week. With Ezekiel Elliott out for the next five weeks, Bryant could see a nice boost for fantasy owners. Chris Hogan - He remained out of practice again this week and is doubtful to play when the Patriots travel to Mexico Marqise Lee - Limited in practice but that is nothing new for him over the past couple weeks. With Allen Hurns out with an ankle injury, Lee is once again in for a large target share vs. the Browns. Kenny Stills - Left Thursday's practice with a back injury. Stay tuned to the injury reports as Sunday approaches as his absence would a slight boost for Jarvis Landry and Devante Parker. Will Fuller - Expected to miss this week with a rib injury. This opens up Bruce Ellington as a nice punt play. Aaron Jones & Ty Montgomery - Both Packers backs are likely to be out this week(Jones for sure out) which will open up value for Jamaal Williams for bell-cow duties vs. the Ravens. Isaiah Crowell - Limited...
Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 10 – 9/12/17
Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 10 - 9/12/17 Welcome back to another exciting week of daily fantasy football. I am going to start out again this week with some key injury and suspension news that will undoubtedly affect our lineup construction. It starts with the Ezekiel Elliott saga and I won't get into details but really all you need to know is that the suspension is back on so we won't see him on the field this weekend. When will he back? You guess is as good as mine. Next up, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without arguably their top two offensive weapons as Mike Evans has been suspended one game after his altercation with Marshon Lattimore, and Jameis Winston will be out at least two weeks with multiple injuries. The Falcons are another team with injuries to key players as Devonta Freeman(knee) was limited early in the week but he is likely to play but Tevin Coleman could see some extra carries. Julio Jones(ankle) was a DNP on both Wednesday and Thursday but returned to practice Friday. This just adds to the risk of stacking the Falcons as they have underperformed week in and week out. One team I will be avoiding in my stacks this week will be the Broncos as both of their top wideouts are dealing with injuries. Emmanuel Sanders returned to the lineup last week but was clearly not 100% and although he was a full participant this week, I still don't trust he is back to full health and then add in the fact Brock Osweiler is his quarterback. Demaryius Thomas was limited in practice this week with a hammy but is expected to be on the field in the big Sunday night matchup vs. the Patriots. Speaking of the Patriots, Chris Hogan(shoulder) is almost a lock to sit out once again this week while Danny Amendola is still dealing with a knee injury but is expected to play Sunday night. He and Brandin Cooks could see a boost in targets this week and don't forget about James White out of the backfield as he sits second among running backs in targets per game(6.6). A few other injury status's to monitor as Sunday approaches are: Michael Thomas(NO) - Was limited Thursday with an ankle injury Matt Forte(NYJ) - Has sat out of practice all week with a knee injury and is very unlikely to play Sunday Dez Bryant(DAL) - Hasn't practiced all week but is likely to return on Friday. Dealing with multiple injuries(knee, ankle) but says is will be on the field Sunday which is good news for the Cowboys who are now without Ezekiel Elliot for some...
