GPP Ownership Pivot Plays for Week 7 on FanDuel and DraftKings
GPP Ownership Pivot Plays for Week 7 on FanDuel and DraftKings I am going to do things a little different this week and instead of a couple players at each position, I am going to look at some situations we can take advantage of when breaking down GPP ownership. When analyzing ownership projections, my top source is FanShareSports who compile every piece of relevant DFS content(articles, podcasts, tweets, videos, etc) and put it all together in an easy to read platform showing overall tag counts, start/sit counts, sentiment rating, and so much more. With all that said, let's jump into this week's top pivot plays. Want to see the rest of this article? Go grab a free three day trial of DFSR Pro or DFSR Basic! Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 7 – 10/21/18
Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 7 - 10/21/18 Welcome back football fans. We are now deep into the bye weeks as four teams(GB, OAK, PIT, SEA) will get the week off and combine that with an early game in London plus the regular Primetime games and we have just 10 games on the main slate. Then you start looking at the limited options, especially at the running back and tight end position, and realize we are going to need some value stacks to fit the puzzle together this week. Let's take a look at a couple that stand out using the DFSR Player Lab. Want to see the rest of this article? Go grab a free three day trial of DFSR Pro or DFSR Basic! Baltimore Ravens Quarterback - Joe Flacco Primary Target - Michael Crabtree Secondary Target - John Brown Like always, I started with the "High Vegas Total" and "Thin Spread" filters which narrowed the options down to one game. In no way do I think Joe Flacco is the better quarterback of the two but I will side with him and the Ravens this week for a couple of reasons. It starts with the PTS/$ value as Flacco comes cheaper on both sites on a week where the options are limited and the price of Todd Gurley is through the roof but is our top projected play from a raw points perspective and a near must play in all formats. Despite the Saints holding Alex Smith to 275 and no touchdowns and Eli Manning to 255 yards and one touchdown over the past two weeks, they have still given up the third most passing yards per game(297.6) on the season and the third-most fantasy points against quarterbacks. While Flacco doesn't have the same upside as Brees, Cousins, Winston and others on this slate, he has still been pretty good averaging 298 yards per game and three times hs thrown for multiple touchdowns. The wide receivers also provide some salary relief in this matchup as both are under $6K on DraftKings and in the mid $6K range on FanDuel. Crabtree has out-targeted Brown 55-47 on the season but neither has been extremely reliable with a 45% and 55% catch rate but in this matchup, I think both have a shot to hit and exceed value on both sites and should also be low-owned. Cleveland Browns Quarterback - Baker Mayfield Primary Target - Jarvis Landry Secondary Targets - David Njoku What I did next was use the same "High Vegas O/U",...
GPP Ownership Pivot Plays for Week 6 on FanDuel and DraftKings
GPP Ownership Pivot Plays for Week 6 on FanDuel and DraftKings Like James and I talked about in the Week 5 Recap Podcast, making one or two ownership pivots in GPP formats has been the key to taking down one of these big contests. Let's dig in and take a look at one of these at each position this week. When analyzing ownership projections, my top source is FanShareSports who compile every piece of relevant DFS content(articles, podcasts, tweets, videos, etc) and put it all together in an easy to read platform showing overall tag counts, start/sit counts, sentiment rating, and so much more. Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 6 – 10/14/18
Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 6 - 10/14/18 Welcome back football fans. Week six brings us three games with totals over 50, four with totals over 48, and a whopping five of 43 or lower. What this could create is some high ownership on the top teams so getting as many combinations as possible of the stacks you choose is very important. To help yourself separate in GPP formats, you can always find one or two low owned pivots and I will cover a few of these in my ownership pivot article on Saturday morning. With that said, let's dive into my top two stacks of the week. Want to see the rest of this article? Go grab a free three day trial of DFSR Pro or DFSR Basic! Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterback - Jameis Winston Primary Target - Mike Evans Secondary Targets - Cameron Brate This week I am once again starting with a filter combination in the player Lab of high game totals with a thin spread. On the main slate, this produced two results and four quarterbacks. While I started with a game stack last week in the Steelers/Falcons game, I am going to go in a bit of a different direction this week. Don't get me wrong, I will definitely be game-stacking these extremely high-scoring games but I love the price and PTS/$ on Winston compared to these other quarterbacks helping us get to one or even two elite running backs that saw big price increases. The Bucs are coming off a bye week which is good news for Winston who will be making his first start of the season after serving a suspension. He did come into the game in week four in relief of Ryan Fitzpatrick and against arguably the best defense in the league in the Chicago Bears, he completed 16 of 20 passes(80%) for 145 yards despite two interceptions. I fully expect the rust to be shaken off and this week he gets a much better matchup against a banged-up Atlanta defense that has seen injuries to key players in Deion Jones at linebacker, Ricardo Allen at corner, and Keanu Neal at safety. Through five games, the Falcons have allowed the 9th most passing yards per game(277.2) and the 3rd most fantasy points per game to the quarterback position. When multi-entering a contest, I always love to create as many combinations of my top stacks as possible so that when they go off you have a much better shot at hitting the nuts and...
Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 5 – 10/7/18
Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 5 - 10/7/18 Week four was an extremely high-scoring week putting even more emphasis on stacking when it comes to GPP lineup construction. There are a ton of ways to go about stacking that can help separate you from the pack whether its team stacking with multiple receiving options, using a tight end or running back, targeting low-owned QB/WR options to be contrarian, or game stacking to advantage of these high scoring games. Let's jump in and take a look at a couple of those options that can help you get to the GPP promise land this weekend. Want to see the rest of this article?
