Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 15 – 12/17/17
Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 15 - 12/17/17 Week 15! I cannot believe I am saying this out loud right now. Well, to be fair, I am saying it in my head. Sorry peeps, my brain is a still a little scrambled from being sick all week and dealing with the agony of last weeks article where I overlooked the Tom Brady in Miami narrative and lost all Sunday-Monday slates with that stack. The Chiefs stack also tanked but if you watched the game it could have been so much better if Kelce would have gained just a half yard more and not dropped like two other touchdowns. If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas. The funny thing about that phrase is that it became popular in 1970 when Don Meredith used it on Monday Night Football. Moving on! Before getting into this week's top stacks, let's take a look at some of the injury news and notes going into the weekend and remember there are two games on Saturday night now that the College Football regular season has ended. Carson Wentz - Tore his ACL in last weeks game vs. the Rams and has been put on season-ending IR. This means the Eagles will turn to Nick Foles for the remainder of the season and he is a bargain on both sites. Josh McCown - Broke his hand last week and will need surgery which will end his season. Bryce Petty will get the start this week vs. the Saints. Tyrod Taylor - Will be the starter this week for the Bills after Nathan Peterman was ruled out with a concussion. LeSean McCoy - After being limited early in the week with a knee injury, Shady was listed as a full participant on Thursday and is good to go this week. Leonard Fournette - Popped up on the injury report after not practicing on Wednesday or Thursday due to a quad injury. Stay tuned as lineup lock approaches and if he is out, T.J. Yeldon and Chis Ivory would likely split the work in the backfield. DeAndre Hopkins - Did not practice on Thursday with a toe injury. Not a whole of info available so stay tuned to the Friday and weekend team reports. Aaron Rodgers - Was medically cleared this week and will make his return to the Packers to face the Panthers in Week 15. Joe Mixon - Returned to a limited practice on Thursday but there is no guarantee he will be back on the field this week. If he is out, we can once again consider Gio Bernard although the decision is not as easy...

DFS NFL Talk Week 15 – Cash Game Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings 12/14/17
DFS NFL Talk Week 15 - Cash Game Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings 12/14/17 DFSR's Doug Norrie and James Davis take to the podcast discussing Week 15 cash game plays for FanDuel and DraftKings. There could be a lot of chalk this week in the upper tier of salaries with Russell Wilson as the clear option at quarterback. He'll face the Rams in what could be a high-scoring matchup. The Steelers' guys in Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown are the far-and-away best options at running back and wide receiver respectively where they are basically lapping the field in fantasy production this season. They also discuss Kenyan Drake, Adam Thielen, Cam Newton and have a "punt the tight end" debate. Subscribe to this podcast on...
Daily Fantasy Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 15 Main Slate – 12/17/17
Daily Fantasy Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 15 - 12/17/17 Last week was one of the more interesting Sundays we've had in the NFL this season. Some games went right down the wire, two ending with overtime touchdowns. We had the Snow Game which was the only real way to make a Colts-Bills affair interesting. An injury to Carson Wentz demoralizes an entire fanbase. Big Ben throws 66 passes in a game. The Patriots lose to the Dolphins. And so much more. Let's see if Week 15 can live up. Note: this week the NFL schedule gets funky with a Thursday game, two Saturday games and Sunday doesn't include the night game on the main slate. These picks are strictly focused on the Sunday afternoon games. Quarterback Russell Wilson FD 8400 DK 7300 Opponent LAR Proj Points FD - 21.89 DK - 22.62 With Carson Wentz now done for the year, Wilson is the runaway leader in the clubhouse for overall quarterback fantasy scoring. On the season, he’s put up 301 fantasy points with the next closest active quarterback being Alex Smith at 259. That’s basically two good games between the top spot and number two. The chasm is wide and isn’t likely to get smaller. Even with Mike Davis in the mix at running back (he’s not a complete waste of space like some of the other guys the Seahawks have fielded this season) Wilson is still the number 1, 2 and 3 fantasy option for this offense. He struggled last week, but it was against a superior Jaguars’ defense and Russ was still able to throw for three touchdowns and run for 50 yards. He’ll face the Rams this week (no slouch on defense with a #4 DVOA rating) but Vegas sees the game as relatively high-scoring (48 o/u) and close (SEA -2). If Wilson can hit value against the Jags then he’s coming close to matchup proof on these prices. Cam Newton FD 7900 DK 6400 Opponent GB Proj Points FD - 20.73 DK - 21.54 He’s getting expensive on FanDuel but still remains something of a bargain on DraftKings going into a matchup against the Packers who’ve struggled all year against the pass and just gave up a 3 TD day to Deshone-freaking-Kizer. There’s a...
