Doug and James return with an early look at cash games for week 7. While we aren't staring down the barrel of a lot of obvious uncertainty this week, there is still plenty to think about. Quarterback is looking moderately straightforward, with Deshaun Watson getting cheaper while continuing to perform at a top level. On DraftKings the DFSR system is picking out some cheaper options, with Joe Burrow surfacing as an interesting option against the Browns this week. Running back is where the real questions start to surface, with the system wanting to play an expensive option, but not knowing which one. Kamara would be a great play if Thomas sits, but Thomas might return. Zeke would be a top option if he were guaranteed all the carries, but he got benched last week after having fumbling issues. Henry would be the best guy if his match-up were better, but he's going up against a meat grinder in the Steelers. And there are a plethora of mid-range options that look similar as well. Wide receiver continues to be where we're finding value, with Keenan Allen looking like a must play now that he's fully healthy again. The guys also discuss cheaper options like Brandin Cooks, Robby Anderson, and Jamison Crowder - breaking down the respective pros and cons of each. Tight end is a conundrum this week. If everyone is healthy, George Kittle might be a must-play even at a moderately high price tag. Now let's take a look at a few possible low owned GPP plays based on some of the industry buzz and ownership projections. Keep in mind, these are not safe plays and are generally very boom or bust. Running Back The Chalk - Derrick Henry, Alexander Mattison, David Montgomery, Jonathan Taylor These are just a few of the RB who I am projecting to be chalky and have them ranked in order of preference. I am most confident in King Henry who gets monster volume(26.8 touches per game) and when he doesn't the yardage totals always seems to make up for it with his heavy redzone and goaline usage. Next up is Alexander Mattison who took over for the injured Dalvin Cook last week and was electric totaling 134 yards from scrimmage on 23 touches. He gets a plus matchup in a game with a high total on a team that loves to run the ball. David Mongomery is in a great spot as Carolina has allowed the 2nd most fantasy points per game to running backs but the Bears are underdogs here in a game with a lower total. The other scary part for GPP formats is that through five games, Monty has just three rushes and two receptions inside the redzone. As for Taylor, he has seen over 50% of the Colts snaps and over 50% of the running back touches just twice in five games. He does have upside in a plus game script on a running team but I will be underweight at these prices. The Pivots Todd Gurley II FD 6800 DK 6300 Opponent MIN Proj Points FD - 13.23 DK - 14.24 I have both Gurley and Sanders in the sub 10% range for big tournaments this week and I love the upside for both. Let's start with Gurley who has been low owned almost every week which kind of baffles me, to be honest. I get he is not getting the targets which really takes away the PPR value but he has more than made up for it with his opportunity in the redzone sitting third overall with 24 rushing attempts, converting on four of...

Kyler Murray FD 8300 DK 7200 Opponent NYJ Proj Points FD - 22.46 DK - 23.23 Jamison Crowder FD 6300 DK 5800 Opponent ARI Proj Points FD - 11.69 DK - 14.39 The quarterback position is very interesting this week in terms of ownership with Kyle Allen starting and just $4,100 on DraftKings. We saw this play out last season in Week 3 when he was the same price against Arizona and put up four touchdowns and nearly a 10x return. Then there is Teddy Bridgewater who will take on some ownership coming off a monster week and he is still cheap on both sites. Finally, in the top tier, we have Dak Prescott and Deshaun Watson who will be chalky with excellent matchups. In terms of pricing, Kyler Murray sits right in the middle of Prescott and Watson on both sites which has me thinking he will be much lower owned. If that is the case, I am even higher on Murray than I was earlier in the week as he has been elite topping 24 fantasy points and returning at least 3.4x value on DraftKings in each of the Cards four games. The Jets present a tougher matchup as they rank 8th in fantasy points per game given up to QB's but have early only faced one QB in Josh Allen who did run for 57 yards and a TD. That is where Kyler's upside lies and he also has arguably the best wideout in the game lining up on the outside. To capitalize on the upside in a game, I like pairing my core stack with a pass-catching option on the other side in hopes the game is a shootout. Early on in the season, there has been a high % of GPP-winning lineups constructed around games stacks, so I will be including some of these options going forward. Lamar Jackson FD 9600 DK 8100 Opponent WAS Proj Points FD - 22.89 DK - 23.43 The chalk at the quarterback position this week should fall on Russell Wilson, Dak Prescott, Kyle Murray, and even Josh Allen to an extent. That leaves a huge hole in ownership at the top of the salary where the last two league MVP's sit. I lean Lamar Jackson here with the new unknown in the Pats/Chiefs game as Cam Newton came down with a positive COVID test. Stay tuned for more news there. For Lamar, on top of all the other quarterbacks in great spots his performance against the Chiefs on Monday Night Football helps drive that ownership projection down, as well. The Chiefs are really the only team to hold that has held Lamar in check(twice) over the past two years so I am really not too concerned. While the matchup may not seem that great on the surface as Washington ranks 5th in passing yard per game allowed, they rank 19th in fantasy points per game allowed to QB's. As you would suspect, a lot of that ranking also comes from rushing as they have given up the 9th most rushing yards to QB's and that is where a ton of Lamar's upside lies. I would not be surprised to see Lamar rebound in a huge way rushing for 100+ yards and tallying multiple touchdowns leading to a spot in the optimal GPP lineup this week. The best part is that at low ownership we don't need a ton of exposure in our multi-entry builds to have more than the field. Let's buckle up and hope for more post-game interviews like this. They lost a barn-burner against a good Ram’s team, pulled out a shootout against the Falcons who give it up to everyone and then lost to Russell Wilson’s brilliance. Yes, they have a slightly negative point differential, but the two losses don’t look all that bad considering the opponent. I do think better things are in store for them going forward and they get a decent matchup against the Browns this week. Meanwhile, the Browns lost to the Ravens in Week 1, but then beat a couple of bottom-feeders in the Bengals and Redskins. So evaluating these two teams on strength of schedule would still have the Cowboys with a slight edge. The Cowboys have played the 4th hardest schedule to start the season with the Browns ranked 24th. And between that, and the public nature of the team, you are paying a little bit of a premium to bet on them this week. But that’s just what we’re going to do. The offense should have very little issue putting up points against a Browns’ defense due for some regression here. And the Cowboys defense has been much better against the run this season compared to the pass which should stymie some of the Browns’ attack. Chicago Bears Opponent IND Bears +2.5 Bears - Colts OVER 43 The Colts are 2-1 though their schedule has been about as easy as it gets with the Jaguars (loss) in Week 1 followed by a stumbling Vikings’ team and the brutal Jets. So sure, 2-1 seems okay but it isn’t like they’ve run the gauntlet. Meanwhile, the Bears haven’t exactly faced a murderer’s row either with wins over the Lions, Giants and Falcons. So while this is a matchup between the number one and number six ranked DVOA defenses so far to start the season, we also know that it isn’t schedule-adjusted yet.
