Allen is the third-highest per game scoring quarterback on DraftKings this season even though the production has been a bit hit or miss of late. One of the main issues is that he has barely run in the last two games, rushing for just 21 total yards in that span. His floor this season has come from his legs and here’s to hoping he gets back to some of that against the Saints. New Orleans is great against the run (1st in DVOA) but middling (14th) against the pass this season. Allen still has the higher floor between he and Dak. Dak Prescott FD 8200 DK 6900 Opponent LVProj Points FD - 22.02 DK - 22.78 The Cowboys have the highest implied total of the three-game slate thanks in part to the Raiders having the 22nd ranked defense on the season. Dak struggled against the Chiefs throwing for only 216 yards, two picks, and no touchdowns in his 43 attempts. That is pretty damn bad and the loss of the WRs may be catching up with him. It looks like he will be without Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb in this game, leaving the receiving corps pretty thin. I’m putting him behind Allen for cash but way above anyone else going on Thanksgiving Day. Running Backs David Montgomery FD 7500 DK 6000 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 14.06 DK - 15.1 The Lions have the 5th-worst defense in the league this season and rank 29th against the run. Montgomery played 95% of the snaps last week against the Ravens, carrying the ball 14 times and getting one target in the passing game. That feels like the absolute basement on expected opportunity considering the snap count and I think we can expect to see much more volume against the Lions in this matchup. Newton was named the starter after taking first-team reps in practice this week and while he is priced among the Top 10 QB's on FanDuel, is near min price on DraftKings which opens up a ton of room for top running backs and pass-catchers this week. He scored in his first touch last week announcing to the world he was back and then threw for a touchdown later in the game. He is, in no way going to be 2015 Cam Newton so temper your expectations but at these prices I will take a 3x floor with 5x+ upside against a Washington defense that ranks dead last in total yards(314.4) and fantasy points to the quarterback position. I will be pairing Cam with Christian McCaffrey in an attempt to capture all of the Panthers touchdowns. Newton back does hurt the implied touchdowns but in terms of total yardage, it think it really helps open up the defense as Cam is a real threat to run, as well. Newton's best passing season, in terms of accuracy(68%), also came in 2018 which was McCaffrey's second season and first with 100+ receptions. This is a buy-low for one of the best running backs in the league who was nearly $10K on DraftKings earlier in the season. Brown FD 7600 DK 7800 Opponent NO Proj Points FD - 16.76 DK - 20.03 The loss of Derrick Henry didn't really seem to affect the offense a whole bunch as they delivered a huge blow to the Rams #4 DVOA defense putting up 28 points last week. It was a bit of a surprise, to say the least, and it also capped the upside of Tannehill as he only had to throw 27 times and tallied just 143 pass yards. This and the matchup against the Saints seems to have people off him this week as he is currently only 9th in tags on FanShare Sports and projected to be low owned. The toughest part of the matchup is in the RedZone where the Saints defense is 2nd overall but they also have allowed the fourth-most passing yards per game on the season. I love the potential low ownership plus slate-breaking upside. I will be pairing Tannehill with his top wideout, A.J. Brown who is dominating the wideout targets lately averaging 10 per game over the last four weeks and has been unaffected by the addition of Julio Jones. Like I mentioned above, the Saints defense is elite in the RedZone but has given up a ton of yards(2nd most to WR). This is my top QB/WR stack to gain some leverage on the GPP field this week. My favorite is piggybacking off Doug's sentiment for Lamar Jackson from our cash game article. He loves the safety here with Lamar with his rushing and I love the upside as the Vikings defense is coming off a terrible performance giving up 325 yards and two touchdowns to Cooper Rush who had exactly three passing attempts in his 3.5 years in the league before last week. That includes 122/112/84 yards to the Cowboys top three wideouts. Marquise Brown has been anything but consistent leaving him off my cash game core but in GPP, I love the upside with 16.0 average depth of target, which is third among all wideouts with 30+ targets. The inconsistency has also kept his price in check throughout the season and presents a ton of PTS/$ upside. Running it back, I prefer Adam Thielen who has been more consistent than Justin Jefferson in the short term and is considerably cheaper making the build much easier to complete. I mentioned above a ton of combinations in this game stack and for some lower ownership, I love targeting Kirk Cousins and then mixing combinations of Thielen, Jefferson, Conklin and running it back with combinations of Andrews and Brown. At first glance, the matchup doesn't look that appealing as the Jets rank 12th in passing yards against and 7th in fantasy points to the QB position but digging deeper, it is somewhat of a dream matchup. Burrow has been solid all season but has really came into his own lately averaging 329 passing yards over the last four games with 10 touchdowns good for 3x-4x return in each game. The Bengals stack that stands out the most is pairing Burrow with Chase who is 2nd in receptions of 20+ yards leads all receivers in receptions of 40+ yards. What makes that stand out, even more, is the fact the Jets have given up the 6th most receptions of 20+ yards among all defenses. If you want to mix things up a bit, throw in Joe Mixon whose inconsistency should have him fairly low owned at the running back position and as a plus pass-catcher provides a ton of PTS/$ upside. Pairing him with Burrow also covers almost all projected Bengals touchdowns.
