Quarterbacks Josh Allen FD 9000 DK 8200 Opponent PITProj Points FD - 28.29 DK - 28.29 In terms of per-game fantasy scoring, there is a class of quarterbacks at the top of the list and then there is everyone else. Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson lead that class this season with Jalen Hurts, who we’ll get to in a second, right behind. Allen has 10 passing touchdowns on the season and has added two rushing touchdowns. He is fourth in quarterback rushing yards and third in passing attempts. He just has such a high floor each and every week because he literally does everything. And in Week 5, the Bills have the highest implied total at 30.5 as -14 home favorites against the Steelers. This is a tough spot to fade Allen in cash games. Jalen Hurts FD 8600 DK 8100 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 26.78 DK - 26.78 Hurts is third in fantasy scoring this season behind Jackson and Allen and like those two offers a high floor in every game because of how much he will take off and run. The Eagles dealt with bad conditions in Week 4 but things are lining up well this time around even going on the road. They are 5.5 favorites against the Cardinals who rank 29th in DVOA on defense and 28th against the pass. And with only four passing touchdowns on the season in 123 passing attempts, one could make the case that Hurts is running bad in that category. There could be even more room for upside if this game turns into a shootout. Running Backs Dalvin Cook FD 7300 DK 7300 Opponent CHIProj Points FD - 18.11 DK - 19.77 There was some concern about Cook’s shoulder going into the Week 4 game in London for the Vikings. But he ended up playing and carried the ball 20 times on 63% of the Minnesota offensive snaps. Now, he comes into Week 5 in the running back sweet spot as a -7 home favorite against the Bears who rank 24th in the league against the rush this season. Cook has seen a price dip on both sites and is especially a good deal on FanDuel. He hasn’t been a total workhorse back this season, but this could be a smash spot when we are...

Game Stack - Atlanta Falcons/Cleveland Browns Marcus Mariota FD 7300 DK 5600 Opponent CLE Proj Points FD - 18.17 DK - 18.17 Drake London FD 6300 DK 6100 Opponent CLE Proj Points FD - 10.84 DK - 13.31 Amari Cooper FD 7500 DK 6300 Opponent ATL Proj Points FD - 14.25 DK - 17.57 I originally had the Raves/Bills game stack plugged into this spot but Doug talked about the high floor/high ceiling of stacking Allen and Diggs in the cash article so I am going to pivot off for a couple of reasons. First of all, stacking them together with a run-back of Mark Andrews is a very expensive route and leaves us value hunting at almost every other spot. Instead, I will go with a value quarterback in Marcus Mariota who has impressed early in the season returning at least 3x value in all three games. He faces a Browns defense that ranks 21st in DVOA against the pass and 21st in fantasy points to the quarterback position. Picking who to stack with Mariota is fairly easy, as well with 57% of the targets going to two players. I lean towards Drake London who has been getting 32% of those and has been impressed in his rookie season with 54 or more yards in each game and has scored a touchdown in back-to-back games. He faces a Cleveland defense that ranks 23rd in fantasy points to wideouts and in terms of upside, has given up the 6th most completed deep balls and 4th most completed yards on those deep balls(via NFL Savant). Choosing a run back is also fairly easy here as Jacoby Brissett has concentrated his targets as well and I will ride with wideout Amari Cooper who is getting 30% of those. He started out slow this season with just three catches in week one but has caught 16 of 21 targets in weeks two and three with back-to-back 100-yard games, reaching the endzone in both. This stack is also very affordable and allows us to fill in with pieces of the more chalky Ravens...

Daily Fantasy NFL GPP Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Week 3

Daily Fantasy NFL GPP Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Week 3 Welcome back football fans. Week 3 is here and we gave you our top cash game plays earlier in the week. Now it's time to look at some high upside stacks for GPP formats. Let's get started. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL and MLB optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Chalk Stack of the Week - Buffalo Bills Josh Allen FD 9000 DK 8200 Opponent MIA Proj Points FD - 23.05 DK - 23.85 Stefon Diggs FD 8300 DK 7700 Opponent MIA Proj Points FD - 16.84 DK - 20.71 This stack checks all the boxes starting with a game that has the highest total(53.5) and fairly close spread(BUF -5.5). While the Bills are currently passing the ball under 60% of the time, that has been the direct result of two blowouts to start the year. Despite that fairly low pass %, Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs have been crushing with Allen throwing for an average of 307 yards through two games with seven passing touchdowns while adding 66 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown. For Diggs, he has looked uncoverable catching 20 of his 24 targets for 270 yards and four touchdowns. With that dominance, it is also a bit surprising to see his price barely jump up where he is the 5th and 6th most expensive wideout on DraftKings and FanDeul this week. The matchup is another good one for the Bills as they face the Dolphins who rank 31st in DVOA pass defense and rank 29th and 22nd in fantasy points against quarterbacks and wide receivers. With this being a projected close game, I also love running this stack back with a Dolphins wideout and the good news is that they have two elite playmakers in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. I will have a mix of both of them in my lineups but lean towards Waddle who is the cheapest. Leverage off the Chalk - Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes FD 8700 DK 7900 Opponent IND Proj Points FD - 23.34 DK - 24.13 Travis Kelce FD 7800 DK 7900 Opponent IND Proj Points FD - 16.02 DK - 19.54 There is going to be heavy ownership on Josh Allen and the Bills stack and looking specifically at the quarterback position, Jalen Hurts is also going to be very highly owned. This creates an excellent leverage spot to use Patrick Mahomes who may not be as mobile and have the same floor but definitely has the same...

Injury analysis for Week 2 of NFL DFS on FanDuel and DraftKings

Posted by on Sep 16, 2022 in featured, Injuries |

Injury analysis for Week 2 of NFL DFS on FanDuel and DraftKings Week 2 is here and we have already gone over our top cash game picks as well as our top GPP targets and now it's time to analyze some of the biggest injuries to monitor heading into Sunday. Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Dak Prescott FD 7700 DK 6700 Opponent CIN Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0 Cooper Rush FD 6100 DK 5000 Opponent CIN Proj Points FD - 11.81 DK - 12.44 Prescott underwent surgery on his thumb and while he was not placed on the IR, he will miss multiple games paving the way for Cooper Rush to take over under center. It is a huge downgrade not only at the position but also affects the entire offense as a whole and the reason I have listed it here. The biggest downgrade goes to CeeDee Lamb who not only gets another tough matchup against the Bengals but has also seen his price increase from week one. This Cowboys offense is a full fade for me until Dak comes back. Zach Wilson FD 6400 DK 5000 Opponent CLE Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0 Joe Flacco FD 6400 DK 5100 Opponent CLE Proj Points FD - 11.53 DK - 12.14 Another offense I will be fading until their quarterback returns is the New York Jets with backup Joe Flacco under center. Wilson could return as soon as Week 4. Running Backs Alvin Kamara FD 7200 DK 7400 Opponent TB Proj Points FD - 11.7 DK - 13.05 Kamara showed up on the injury report this week after sustaining a rib injury in the Saints win last week. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and while he attended practice on Thursday, he did not partake in any drills. He is listed as questionable for their Week 2 matchup against the Bucs and the downside for the Saints here is that backup running back Mark Ingram is also listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Best to avoid the Saints backfield this week. D'Andre Swift FD 8200 DK 7000 Opponent WAS Proj Points FD - 15.85 DK - 17.59 Swift is dealing with an ankle injury and was a non-participant in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. While listed as questionable for the Lions week 2 matchup against the Commanders, Swift did return to practice on Friday and is...

Daily Fantasy NFL GPP Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Week 2

Posted by on Sep 16, 2022 in featured, Football Strategy |

Daily Fantasy NFL GPP Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Week 2 Week one is in the books and it's now time to gear up for another profitable week. Doug once again got things started with his Cash Game article and now I will be looking at some of my favorite stacks to help you take down GPP contests. I am going to do things a little different and look at a wide variety of stacks including the chalky/most popular choices, some off-the-board stacks, as well as some leverage/low-owned stacks to help us separate our lineups from the herd. Let's get started. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL and MLB optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! High Floor/High Upside Chalk - Las Vegas Raiders Derek Carr FD 7300 DK 6200 Opponent ARI Proj Points FD - 17.58 DK - 18.4 Davante Adams FD 8800 DK 8600 Opponent ARI Proj Points FD - 21.48 DK - 26.16 There is a good chance this stack is the most popular one this week and it makes a ton of sense as it provides us both a very high floor and ceiling. Adams came over to the Raiders in the offseason to join his College teammate Derek Carr and while we were unsure how it would work out going into the season, we learned a ton in week one. Carr targeted Adams 17 times for an insane 46% target share(highest in the league) and while Adams only caught 10 of them, he turned it into 141 yards, got into the endzone once, and tallied 33 DK/25.1 FD points. The price justifiably went up on both of them as they return to Las Vegas for their home opener in another terrific matchup. They face the Cardinals who got destroyed by the Chiefs in week one giving up 360 passing yards and five passing touchdowns to Patrick Mahomes. While it was Travis Kelce(8-121-1) doing most of the damage, the Cards did not have a corner that rated out better than 75th in week one when looking at coverage rankings(via PFF). This game has the highest total(51.5) on the main slate by a wide margin with the Raiders favoured by 5.5 points. This is easily my favorite stack of the week and one I will build around in all formats. Other options to stack in this game: Darren Waller(TE) makes a ton of sense after seeing what Travis Kelce did to this defense a week ago. Waller was good, not great in week one catching 4 of 6 targets for 79 yards. The...
