Daily Fantasy Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 13 - 12/3/17 We are entering the home stretch of the NFL season with a lot of teams going in opposite directions. For instance, the 49ers will debut their big trade acquisition in Jimmy Garoppolo as they prepare for the future. Meanwhile, the Giants will trot out Geno Smith because, lolz. There are plenty of solid matchups this week and value at all stops along the salary tiers. Let's take a look at what Week 13 has to offer. Quarterback Quick note: I’m giving a few more recommendations than normal here because pricing really matters this week and the considerations are different for the different sites. Tom Brady FD 9300 DK 7800 Opponent BUF Proj Points FD - 23.37 DK - 23.93 Brady is the clear the top overall points option on the slate (doubly so on DK where both Carson Wentz and Russell Wilson aren’t available on the main slate). The only real question with Brady is whether you can absorb the high salaries. It’s close. Brady has thrown three or more touchdowns in each of the last three weeks, all blowouts. With the game on the road against Buffalo Vegas has it staying somewhat close (Pats -7.5) with New England sporting the highest implied total on the day. It should be said that Buffalo’s defense is much better against the pass than the run and that’s something of a concern. The Pats have been employing an RBBC and making some progress there so it’s not unreasonable to think they prey on Buffalo’s major weakness. But this is still Brady and they’ve also used the short passing game as de facto run in the past. I’m siding with Brady’s track record and the Vegas total here though paying all the way up for him could prove a little difficult with a few big money RBs available on this slate. Jared Goff FD 7900 DK 6700 Opponent ARI Proj Points FD - 19.51 DK - 20.66 The Rams have taken the leash off of Goff over the last few weeks. He’s attempted 37 or more passes in four of the last five games which is significant considering only one of them saw them playing from behind. They’ve looked to establish the pass...

They also lament the end of Kareem Hunt. For WRs they talk about Julio vs. Antonio Brown and how both are coming off huge performances. And then there's what to do with the Raiders' WR corps with Crabtree and Cooper both likely out. All of this and much more on a full Week 12 recap. Subscribe to this podcast on...

Daily Fantasy Football Injury Updates and Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 12 – 11/26/17

Daily Fantasy Football Injury Updates and Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 12 - 11/26/17 Welcome back daily fantasy football fans. I hope everyone had a terrific Thanksgiving and enjoyed the triple-header but it's now time to dip out feet into the Sunday slate. Before getting into my top stacks for GPP formats this week, let's take a look at some of the injury situations to monitor as lineup lock approaches. Devonta Freeman - Ruled out for Week 12 vs. the Buccaneers with a concussion. This will give full run of the backfield to Tevin Coleman who once again makes a nice value play. JuJu Smith-Schuster - Ruled out(hamstring) against the Packers in a terrific matchup. This gives a boost in value to Martavis Bryant who should see extra targets this week. Greg Olsen - Panthers have activated Greg Olsen with full expectation he will play on Sunday. Jimmy Graham - Was listed as Did Not Practice on both Wednesday and Thursday and is considered questionable for Week 12. Stay tuned for his Friday and gameday status. Ty Montgomery - Has not practiced all week for the Packers and is questionable for Sunday but more likely doubtful giving Jamaal Williams added value in the backfield once again. Jacoby Brissett - Has been dealing with a concussion but was cleared and is not listed on the Colts final injury report. Leonard Fournette - Still dealing with some pain with his ankle but is not listed on the injury report. Good to go as a RB1 this week and it's positive that he played through the pain last week and rushed 28 times for 111 yards. Jay Cutler - Has been ruled out for Week 12 with a concussion. Matt Moore will get the start. Robert Woods - After suffering a shoulder injury last week vs. the Vikings, Woods will miss this week and possibly another week or two. I look for more targets to go Sammy Watkins and Cooper Kupp's way moving forward. Rob Gronkowski - Confirmed he will be active after dealing with an illness earlier in the week. Fire him up as a TE1 vs. the Dolphins. Julio Jones - Was dealing with multiple injuries this week(ankle, knee) but is not listed on the final Falcons injury report. This is great news as he gets an elite matchup. See below. Rishard Matthews - Late addition to the Titans injury report as he did not practice on Friday with a hamstring injury. He is listed as questionable and if he is ruled out, makes Corey Davis an excellent value play. Kelvin Benjamin, Jordan Matthews, Charles Clay - The Bills will be in a tough spot this week in...

Daily Fantasy Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 12 – 11/26/17

Daily Fantasy Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 12 - 11/26/17 Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving replete with all the food, family and football you could handle. It's another holiday in the books and we now march on into the rest of Week 12 for the NFL. There are a bunch of potential blowouts looming this week, but also a number of teams in great spots to put up a lot of points. Let's take a look at some picks for the week. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL optimizer for FanDuel and DraftKings, our MLB Optimizer, and our new Player Lab! We've got you completely covered. Quarterback Russell Wilson FD 8600 DK 7000 Opponent SF Proj Points FD - 26.77 DK - 27.7 If he isn’t the total and complete chalk on this main slate then I’ll eat my hat. Literally, I’ll ingest an entire hat that I own. Wilson is in the perfect cash game spot this week. He’s playing the 49ers who are allowing the most opponent plays per game this season (68.9 / game) and have the 30th ranked DVOA defense against the pass. Wilson is basically the entire Seahawks’ offense leading the team in passing (of course) but also rushing. He’s likely to finish the season like this and it’s rare for a quarterback to shoulder the entire load. But there’s Russell just doing everything and that should be the case again this week in what represents basically the perfect DFS matchup. Wilson is the highest scoring fantasy quarterback of the season and that’s unlikely to change after this week. Cam Newton FD 8000 DK 6600 Opponent NYJ Proj Points FD - 21.85 DK - 22.7 Let me be very clear: Wilson is far and away the best quarterback value of the week. It’s not particularly close (for me) and the additional QBs here are strictly GPP pivots/alternate slate plays. Cam’s made some improvements this season in terms of his accuracy in that the 62% completion percentage is up from the career-worst 52% last season. Christian McCaffery has a lot to do with this considering the ease of routes he’s running and the number of targets he’s seen this season. The yards per completion are actually down which makes sense considering this new addition to the passing game. But the other welcome change is how much more Cam’s been taking off and running. He’s on pace for his...
