This with Lebron already out could be a huge uptick in fantasy value for Westbrook. As of now, the Lakers are just two-point favorites in the highest total of the night and get an elite matchup against the Hornets who are dead last in defensive efficiency and run the 6th fastest pace. This is a recipe for a monster game from a guy who can chuck up triple-doubles at will when he is the focal point of the offense. He is in play in all formats, especially on FanDuel where he is outside the Top 10 in pricing overall. Chris Paul FD - $8300 DK - $8700 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 45.22 DK - 47.7 In the next tier of pricing, we have a player in Chris Paul who I actually like more from a PTS/$ perspective. Like Westbrook, he gets an elite matchup against the only other team in the NBA that ranks Top 10 in pace(10th) and bottom 10 in defensive efficiency(23rd). What really sway me towards paul, however, is the consistency as he is averaging 42 fantasy points on the season and doesn't need scoring to do it dishing out over 12 assists per game. This game is expected to stay close(PHO -2.5) and has the second-highest total on the slate. Lock and load in all formats. Also Consider: Tyrese Maxey(PHI) for value as he has been playing heavy minutes(34.7 per game & 40+ in two straight) for the 76ers with no Ben Simmons  Shooting Guard Anthony Edwards FD - $7900 DK - $8000 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 43.82 DK - 47.34 Last year's first overall pick is coming into his own in Minnesota and leading the team in usage(30.3%) and has taken 19 or more shots from the field in every game. They are coming off a loss to the Thunder on Thursday and have real issues with their lineup. But from a fantasy standpoint, we don’t care all that much about those problems. Westbrook is in line for a lot of usage again after taking 23 shots last game. He was inefficient (10-23 from the field) and turned the ball over, but the floor is just still so high without James in the lineup. He’s a much better price on FanDuel where he’s a tough fade. The DraftKings price is a bit of a stretch though and there are other value plays in the top tier on this slate so I don’t think he’s a must. Chris Paul FD - $8100 DK - $8400Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 41.65 DK - 44.53 Paul has been a popular option over his last couple of games and been amazing in that stretch as well. He’s put up 13 and 18 assists games over the last two and has 10 steals combined over his last three. The price on both sites isn’t all that close to reflecting his current minutes’ status after getting buzzed off some run earlier in the year. The Suns implied 115 points is, by far, the highest on the slate. This is still a shot to buy on Paul. Shooting Guard Dennis Schroder FD - $6000 DK - $5400Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 33.22 DK - 34.34 Jaylen Brown has already been ruled out of this game meaning we are going to get some value from the Celtics on this slate. The last time Brown missed a game, Schroder played 33 minutes and took the second-most shots on the team with 14. He finished with 18 points to go with five rebounds and five assists. The price has come down since then because the Celtics have been fully healthy. But I think we can go back to him here because of the opportunity now available with...

Fox has struggled some to start the season which has his price way down on FanDuel especially. He’s shooting just 19% from three and 39% from the field, both way down from his career averages. He is down at the free-throw line. Though some players’ struggles to start the season are well-publicized, I think we are still in “short-term blip” territory with a lot of them, Fox included. Stephen Curry FD - $9800 DK - $11400Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 53.22 DK - 58.82 Curry will face a Pelicans’ team on Friday that ranks dead last in defensive efficiency on the season with not many paths to get a whole lot better as they move forward. Charlotte tried to run him off the line more last game with their wings, but New Orleans won’t be able to do the same thing and we could see a big game from Steph. His shot attempts are down a little over the last two games, but it looks like that is more a blip than anything. I think the DraftKings price is way too high, but on FanDuel he is still very much a value. Patrick Beverley (FD 5000 DK 4000) is a great DraftKings play with D'Angelo Russell sitting this one out again for the Timberwolves. Shooting Guard Cade Cunningham FD - $4200 DK - $4600Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 24.24 DK - 27.53 The number one draft pick had struggled some through his first two games, going a combined 0-14 from three to start his career. That piece didn’t get a whole lot better on Thursday against the 76ers considering he just 1-7. But the rest of the line showed a lot of promise. Let's start with the game which has the highest total(220.5) and the closest spread(UTA -1). It starts at the point with Conley who has been terrific in the short term shooting 57% from the field on 30 shots over his last two games while going 10 of 16 from three. I don't see that insane production lasting forever but the price isn't increasing a ton and he should easily get double-digit attempts again in a plus matchup vs. Atlanta who is 22nd in defensive efficiency. Conley is in play in all formats, especially on FanDuel in the low $5K range. Cade Cunningham FD - $4600 DK - $4000 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 28.01 DK - 31.5 Despite two underwhelming games to start his career, our system absolutely loves the first overall pick at these prices. The good news is that he is very unlikely to continue to shoot 14% from the field going forward and more good news as he did put up 14 shots in his last game while playing 29 minutes. The 76ers are short-handed so this game should stay relatively close so while the projection may be a little lofty and more geared towards his upside, I do like buying low on a player who could easily be in the $5K-$6K range very soon. Also Consider: Kyle Lowry(MIA) on FanDuel who is still sub $6K and coming off two very productive games(38 and 40.5 FD points) Shooting Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $7600 DK - $8400 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 38.7 DK - 41.71 There are a ton of unknowns going into this slate so I am not going to worry about blowouts at this point of the day as the 1-6 Thunder go on the road to take on the 5-3 Lakers. Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10300 DK - $10700 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 55.21 DK - 58.13 Jalen Brunson FD - $4600 DK - $5100 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 29.11 DK - 30.35 It looks like Dallas is going to go small with Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber on the sidelines. That was certainly the case on Tuesday when Brunson and Doncic carried this offense in that loss to Miami. Doncic is the easy choice here, though, flirting with triple-doubles regularly. The Slovenian point guard has at least 33 DraftKings points in every game en route to a 47-point average. Those are actually "down" numbers from Doncic, and he'll inevitably start dropping 60-burgers at ease. Brunson is the value of the bunch. He started at shooting guard on Tuesday and provided 25 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. That sort of line is tough to find from a $5K player, but Brunson has always proven to be a beast when given the opportunity. The Spurs don't really concern us either, with San Antonio sitting ninth in pace and 29th in field goal percentage defense. Damian Lillard FD - $8300 DK - $9700 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 44.08 DK - 46.32 Dame has been struggling with his shot mightily, but this $8,300 price tag on FanDuel is silly. This dude is usually north of five figures, and it's just a matter of time before he gets back there. Even with the terrible shooting, Lillard is still averaging 38 DK points per game, surpassing that total in each of his last four fixtures. That's all you can hope for from someone in this price range, and it doesn't even take into consideration his 60-point upside. He literally averaged over 60 DK points in a three-week stretch last year, and he can turn it around on any given night. A matchup with...
