Morant has been on an absolute heater lately putting up 50+ fantasy points in four straight while averaging 28.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game. The third-year pro has improved in every single area this season and now gets an up-pace matchup against the Rockets(1st in pace). The only concern here is the blowout factor as the Grizzlies are 11 point favorites but I am not too concerned as he has been held under 30 minutes just once(29.5 minutes) all season. Fire up Morant in all formats. Dennis Schroder FD - $5700 DK - $6500 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 33.81 DK - 36.73 With Jaylen Brown expected to be out once again on Monday, we can go back to Schroder who has been terrific while getting some added usage. Over the last four games with no Brown, Schroder has averaged 20.8 shots and 26.5 points while adding an average of 4.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. Even in a low-scoring loss to Cleveland on Saturday, he managed to hit 5x value and that is what I have his floor pegged at tonight. All things considered, Schroder is in play for me in all formats, especially on fanDuel where the price still hovers below $6K. Shooting Guard Anthony Edwards FD - $8400 DK - $7900 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 39.6 DK - 43.36 This game has my full attention tonight and it starts with the fact it has the highest total(220.5) on the slate and is expected to stay close(MIN +4). The matchup itself for Edwards doesn't look great on paper as the Suns are a Top 10 defensive team but this isn't new for Edwards who has faced the Clippers and Lakers four times in his last six games. Sundays are actually one of the best days of the week, with more amateurs playing than usual. That has me excited to get things going here because I have an excellent read on this slate too. I think that'd make you want to use him, with Chef Curry cooking up the NBA right now. The former MVP is averaging 28.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 1.6 steals en route to 52 DraftKings points per game. That's truly absurd, and it's even scarier when you see that he has 189 combined fantasy points over the last three games. That equates to a ridiculous 63-point average, the highest total in the NBA in that span. Facing Charlotte is simply a bonus, with the Hornets ranked third in pace and 27th in defensive efficiency ratings. They also happen to be Curry's childhood team, and he seems to always play better against them. Anfernee Simons FD - $4200 DK - $3500 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 19.89 DK - 21.35 Simons still has a limited role in Portland, but he's shown flashes this season. The Dunk Contest participant is averaging 19.4 DK points per game across just 22 minutes a night. That alone makes him a solid value around $4K, but he should be looking at his most prominent role of the season here. Damian Lillard has already been ruled out with an adductor issue, and it'll force Simons into the starting point guard job. That means his minutes, shot attempts, usage, and fantasy points could double, making him the best value of the day. With Beal on the court this season, Dinwiddie has just under a 20% usage rate. But with Beal off the court, that number shoots to over 31%, the highest on the team among guys who get significant run. The concern with Dinwiddie here is just the minutes with the Wizards clearly not wanting to overtax him early in the season. But that’s built into his price some on both sites and he makes for an excellent play squaring up against the defensively inefficient Magic. Dennis Schroder FD - $5700 DK - $6300Opponent - CLEProj Pts FD - 30.71 DK - 33.67 Over the last three games, with Jaylen Brown out of the lineup, Schroder has helped pick up some of the Celtics’ scoring load. He’s taken 15 or more shots in each and capped it off with a huge night on Friday, taking 27 shots and erupting for 38 points in the overtime win against the depleted Milwaukee Bucks. The minutes have been pretty robust as well and in close games, Schroder should be looking at 35+. Cleveland isn’t an ideal matchup because they play slow, are a top-10 defense, and have a couple of rim protectors that could make it hard for Schroder to get to the basket. But his opportunity in this offense isn’t quite reflected in the price. Shooting Guard Paul George FD - $10000 DK - $10600Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 52.08 DK - 56.17 The Clippers come in with the highest implied total on the slate at 114 because they get one of the better matchups around. The Timberwolves are a league-average defense playing at a top-10 pace on the season which makes them a squad to target on Saturday. The last two Lakers’ games went into overtime which threw off his minutes just a bit, but he’s playing around 37 in regulation and has taken 37 combined shots over the last two games. He’s averaging 21 points, 12 assists, and 14 rebounds in that stretch with the big (big) negative being the 15 total turnovers in that stretch. I still think the floor is high enough for Westbrook at these prices and gets a good matchup against the Timberwolves here. They rank in the bottom third defensively with a top-10 pace. It’s a good spot for Westbrook even with the turnovers. Ricky Rubio FD - $5900 DK - $5700Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 33.09 DK - 36.13 Rubio didn’t get the start for the Cavaliers' last game, which was a bit of a surprise considering Collin Sexton was on the shelf. They went with Okoro at the two and moved Garland into full-time point guard duties. That being said, Rubio still managed 28 minutes off the bench and put up 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists. I think we see a slight bump in minutes here for this game against Detroit considering the Cavs have just been better with him on the court. Keep an eye out too if they decide to switch the starting lineup up as well. Shooting Guard Darius Garland FD - $6300 DK - $6700Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 37.78 DK - 41.81 With Collin Sexton out last game, Garland took over more of the point guard duties in the starting lineup and Ricky Rubio ended up coming off the bench. Garland took a team-high 16 shots for the Cavaliers and ended up scoring 19 points despite going just 3-10 from beyond the arc. Cleveland isn’t a robust offense, but this is too good of an opportunity for Garland with Sexton injured and out of the lineup. Though the price has come up some I think we are...

He was able to turn that around some last game, going 6-14 from beyond the arc in a win over the Lakers. It was a welcome sign considering this guy has been on the struggle bus so far. He was coming off a game in which he scored only four points, and on the season is shooting just 35% from the field and 25% from three. Both of those are, by far, career lows. But I do think it is mostly a blip, something that will regress back to his career numbers sooner than later. Such is the nature of the NBA especially with superstars like Lillard. Let’s keep buying low. Reggie Jackson FD - $6100 DK - $6300Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 31.23 DK - 35.21 On only a three-game slate, some of the decisions are going to get a little tougher especially if there aren’t many ways to save on salary. Jackson provides a middle-tier option with a high enough floor to warrant a cash game play for sure. He’s playing major minutes for the Clippers, running 36 or more in each of his last four games (all LAC wins). In that stretch, he’s averaging 21 points and five assists. The 40% shooting from three isn’t totally out of bounds and I like the matchup here against Portland.
