Point Guard Trae Young FD - $9400 DK - $9500Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 47.76 DK - 52.44 The point guard for the team with the highest implied total on this slate? Sure, why not. Charlotte has turned into a great DFS matchup playing the fifth-worst defense in the league and running the sixth-fastest pace. Trae is still scoring more than 25 points per game on the season and his numbers look nearly identical to last season. He will be a handful around the perimeter for Charlotte and is coming just a bit cheaper than some of the other superstars on this slate. Patrick Beverley FD - $4800 DK - $4700Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 30.47 DK - 31.92 When the Timberwolves are able to keep the game then Beverley is looking at around 34 minutes and that’s more than enough for him to hit value at these prices. Though he doesn’t excel in any one part of the box score, he’s been able to contribute across it in terms of hitting fantasy value. Over his last five games, he’s averaging 10 points, five rebounds, four assists, and almost two defensive stats despite playing fewer than 30 minutes on average. With some of those games in the blowout territory, it makes sense that his production was churned off. I don’t think that will be the case here and at sub-$5K on both sites, he’s an excellent cash game option. Shooting Guard Donovan Mitchell FD - $8300 DK - $8700Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 46.46 DK - 49.84 The Jazz have a good matchup here against the Kings who are middling defense, but also play in the top third in pace. This could represent something like a track meet and there’s a reason the game has the second-highest total on the slate. Mitchell hasn’t had to play a ton of minutes over the last two games because the Jazz have blown teams out. But in close ones, mid-30s minutes are in store for the guard. The price is down a bit, but this is a guy who has a higher usage rate this season than last and is playing fewer minutes...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Friday 11/19/21

Point Guard Jalen Brunson FD - $6500 DK - $6700Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 40.8 DK - 44.63 Brunson is likely to be a popular play again on Friday and for good reason. The price didn’t move nearly enough for the opportunity he has with Luka Doncic out of the lineup. Sitting at sub-$7K on both sites makes this a pretty easy call all things considered. Over the last season-plus, when Doncic is off the court, Brunson has a 24% usage rate, the second-highest on the team, and the assist rate climbs as well. It makes sense considering how ball-dominant Luka is in the offense. Last game, with Doncic on the shelf, Brunson took 18 shots and nearly triple-doubled with 18 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. He could be in for a similar line in this game. Reggie Jackson FD - $6300 DK - $6400Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 32.92 DK - 36.72 This could be a slate that sees us playing a number of guys in the mid-tier. Jackson could be one of them, drawing a solid matchup against the Pelicans who ranks dead last in defensive efficiency this season. Their 112.4 rating is nearly three points lower than the next-closest team, Memphis. The Pels play a slower pace, but the defensive deficiencies more than make up for that. In a closer game, Jackson should be in line for minutes in the high-30s and he’s been taking around 17 shots per game in those scenarios. Shooting Guard Paul George FD - $10100 DK - $10300Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 54.4 DK - 58.76 Like we said with Jackson, the Clippers get a great matchup against the Pelicans considering the latter’s failings on the defensive end. And that puts Paul George in a great spot. He’s been putting up crazy usage numbers in the short-term, going for 24+ shots in four of his last six games. The efficiency has mostly been there in that stretch and he can get on the glass as well with 9+ rebounds in three of his last four. The price is getting up there but PG is still a good DFS play in this...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Thursday 11/18

Point Guard Ja Morant FD - $10000 DK - $10000 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 45.74 DK - 49.58 His minutes were cut short in a blowout against Houston on Monday and he still put up 40+ fantasy points continuing his tremendous start to the season. He is averaging over two more shots per game(31.7% usage) while shooting 4% better and he has also added two more rebounds per game. The best news here is that this game is expected to stay close(MEM +1) while there are about four other potential blowouts on this slate. His price continues to rise but is more than worth it putting up 50+ fantasy points in over half his games. He is my top point guard and one of my top overall plays on this slate. Monte Morris FD - $5100 DK - $4700 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 24.93 DK - 27.11 The Nuggets are going to be short-handed again on Thursday which opens some value, especially at the guard position. Enter Monte Morris who has been money over the last two games without Barton dropping 15 of 25 shots from the field(60%) while adding 12 assists, nine rebounds, and four steals. The best part is that his price has barely gone up and he gets a plus matchup against a 76ers team that ranks 27th in defensive efficiency. Morris is my top PTS/$ value on this slate. Shooting Guard Darius Garland FD - $6000 DK - $6800 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 31.86 DK - 36.2 Speaking of teams that are short-handed, the Cavs have been decimated with injuries but a frustrating situation to target value with inconsistent minutes and production. One player we don't have to worry about in that regard is Garland who has played 35+ minutes in nine straight games while putting up a fantasy average over 5x PTS/$ in that time. There is a chance this game blows out but someone needs to play and if choosing just one, I trust Garland more than any other Cavs players. Anthony Edwards FD - $8200 DK - $7700 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 39.76 DK...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 11/17/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 11/17/21 Holy crap, this card is nuts! The 11 games would be wild no matter what, but all of the injuries make it one of the most fascinating slates of the season. We have numerous superstars expected to sit here, and it's opening up a ton of value across the board. There's a lot to discuss and more recommendations than usual, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ricky Rubio FD - $6600 DK - $6500 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 39.36 DK - 40.51 Darius Garland FD - $6200 DK - $6500 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 33.71 DK - 35.64 It's hard to remember a team being this shorthanded. The frontcourt is absolutely decimated by injuries, but the backcourt lost its best scorer too. That happens to be Collin Sexton, leaving Rubio and Garland to feast. Garland has been the most reliable one, scoring at least 23 DraftKings points in every game this season, en route to a 32-point average. He's been even better without Sexton, scoring at least 28 DK points in six of his last seven games while cracking 35-plus in four of those. Rubio has also been stepping up for Sexton, scoring at least 29 DK points in five straight fixtures. He's also averaging nearly 40 fantasy points per game in that span, doing that damage off of the bench. Both of these guys should be asked to do more here with even more Cavs out, and we'll dive into that a little later in the article! Jalen Brunson FD - $6500 DK - $5700 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 32.84 DK - 33.98 This is the easiest play of the day. Dallas will be missing Luka Doncic here, leaving Brunson as the starting point guard. This is a guy who was going off anyway, averaging 30 DK points per game in just 29 minutes a night off the bench. That's a good indicator of how good this guard can be, and we absolutely love that he'll swallow up some of the usage that Doncic will leave behind. We're talking about a superstar with a 32 percent usage rate,...

Point Guard Eric Bledsoe FD - $6000 DK - $5200Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 31.88 DK - 33.9 Eric Bledsoe is finding new life here in Los Angeles with Ty Lue and the Clippers unlocking the oft-maligned guard in a way few others haven’t been able to in recent years. It’s a testament that working with talent in different terms can sometimes pay pretty big dividends. Over his last four games, Bledsoe is averaging 17 points, five rebounds, and five assists with the Clippers using him to get to the basket and act more like a big man on the court. It’s working. His price, especially on DraftKings is still much too low all things considered and the Clippers draw the best matchup of the slate against the Spurs. Reggie Jackson FD - $6000 DK - $6100Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 31.26 DK - 35.12 I think we are going to be stacking three Clippers’ guards on this slate in the matchup against the Spurs. San Antonio has been solid defensively on the season, ranking as an above-average unit, but they are playing much faster, ranking as the 4th fastest pace team in the league. Jackson continues to be a volume shooter in this offense, putting up more than 17 shots per game so far. That’s led to 18 points a game even though the three-point shooting is under where he’s been over the last couple of seasons. I think there is room for growth on the scoring if this number rounds out some. He’s a bargain on both sites for the short slate. Shooting Guard Paul George FD - $10000 DK - $10200Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 52.62 DK - 57.24 Paul George isn’t right up there in the MVP discussion this season, but he probably should be at least a little bit. This seemingly undermanned Clippers’ team is 8-5 with the fourth-best point differential in the West thanks, in large part, to just how good Paul George has been this season. He’s averaging 26.5 points per game, the second-best of his career despite shooting under his career average from beyond the arc. The 8.2 rebounds would also represent...
