Point Guard De'Aaron Fox FD - $7600 DK - $8300 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 40.33 DK - 40.61 We had Fox in Wednesday's article, and he's been treating us with some gems since Luke Walton was fired. It's easy to understand why, with the pace picking up big time. Walton tends to play at a slow pace, while Alvin Gentry loves to have his players run up and down the floor. That's a godsend for a speedster like De'Aaron, averaging 38.5 DraftKings points per game in the two outings since the firing. We expect that form to continue, too, with Fox playing at that level for the final three months of last year. The best part of this play is the matchup, though, with Memphis ranked last in both defensive efficiency and points allowed. Look for Fox to remain a 40-point player from here on out and his price to rise $1,000 on both sites in the coming weeks! Tyus Jones FD - $3800 DK - $4800 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 28.71 DK - 29.02 The Ja Morant injury is one of the most unfortunate things to happen in the NBA this season, but it will allow Tyus to take over as the starting point guard in Memphis. That's big news for a guy who was already playing well, with Jones averaging 21 DK points per game in the nine outings he's played at least 15 minutes. Over the last season-plus, Mitchell has a 34% usage rate with Conley off the court. He gets a bump in the assist rate as well and makes for a very strong cash option against the Pelicans on Sunday. New Orleans is the 27th-ranked defense on the season, offering very little resistance on that end of the court. And they play at a league-average pace so this matchup lines up well from a DFS perspective. Mitchell’s price isn’t going to kill you hear and there should be more opportunity with no Conley. LaMelo Ball FD - $9500 DK - $10400Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 54.53 DK - 57.39 The Hornets ended up blowing out the Timberwolves on Friday night and the entire starting lineup ended up sitting out the last six minutes or so. Even with getting buzzed off the run, Ball finished with 10 points, 13 assists, and six rebounds. With a full game presumably against Houston, he could be one of the highest scorers on the slate. Houston offers the perfect matchup seeing as how they are running the league’s fastest pace and playing a bottom-third defense. This could be a track meet of a game and the 222.5 over/under is the highest of the evening slate of games. It’s for good reason with defense not exactly a priority for either of these squads. Shooting Guard Eric Gordon FD - $4900 DK - $4700Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 25.7 DK - 28.03 Garrison Mathews FD - $3900 DK - $3400Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 20.66 DK - 22.93 Jalen Green is going to be out for at least a week and probably more which is going to open up some scoring opportunities and minutes for the Rockets. But his rebounds and assists were some of the lowest numbers he’s posted this season. By and large, Ball has been awesome this season, averaging 19 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game with two steals thrown in there as well. He’s been one of the best fantasy producers on the hardwood this season and should be able to hit value tonight. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7200 DK - $7500Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 42.14 DK - 46.01 The Pacers called on Brogdon to play a ton of minutes on Wednesday, running him 46 total and 41 in regulation. He took a team-high 21 shots and finished with 28 points against the Lakers. He’ll draw another fine matchup against a Toronto team that is in the bottom-third in terms of defensive efficiency. The Raptors play at a slower pace, but this game still has a solid 213 implied total. I think Brogdon is underpriced on both sites and should have a high floor on Friday. Shooting Guard Josh Giddey FD - $6200 DK - $6500Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 35.9 DK - 39.19 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is going to miss another game on Friday and that should have Giddey in a great spot once again. SGA has the highest usage on the Thunder this season so losing his minutes opens up quite a bit of opportunity elsewhere in the lineup. Giddey has played some of his most minutes of the season over the last two, averaging 17 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists in that time. He’ll get another opportunity on Wednesday against the Wizards and the price hasn’t moved all that much. He’s another high-floor play considering he’s running the OKC offense with SGA out of the mix. Anthony Edwards FD - $7900 DK - $7500Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 42.03 DK - 45.3 We are going to want exposure to this game which has the third-highest implied total...

That should leave Westbrook with a ton of opportunity in this game. He has a full-season usage rate of 28%, but it jumps to 31% when Lebron has been off the court this season. He isn’t efficient at all and the turnovers are still a problem, but the floor is still very high because he’s able to dial it up in nearly every other part of the box score. The price is down a little bit from the peak and I think he is a strong cash play here. Cory Joseph FD - $4100 DK - $3900Opponent - MIAProj Pts FD - 23.88 DK - 25.87 Cory Jospeh has never been all that robust of a fantasy contributor even when given outsized opportunity in the past, so we need to tread a little carefully here even when projecting him for major minutes. The run should be there with Killian Hayes set to sit out this game and CoJo is coming off 39 minutes in the start against the Lakers. He needed every minute, finishing with five points, seven assists, and four rebounds. Because he’s so cheap I’m willing to take the risk again on the short slate, though there is some chance we are better off with Frank Jackson (FD 3800 DK 4000) off the bench. Shooting Guard Jalen Brunson FD - $7200 DK - $7300Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 38.63 DK - 41.97 This might end up being a tough spot with Brunson and whether we should roster him in cash. Luka Doncic is currently questionable for this game and his return would spell the end of Brunson being still a value at these prices. That game doesn’t start until three hours after lineups lock meaning it might be tough to pivot on...

That starts with Tyrese Maxey who, partially due to Ben Simmons being out, has taken on a much larger role in his second year and has flourished with an offensive rating(124.9) well above average and has seen an uptick in usage averaging three more shots per game over the last week. He and the 76ers get a plus matchup tonight vs. the Kings who are one of four teams to rank bottom 12 in defensive efficiency and Top 10 in pace. A great matchup and overall situation put Maxey on my radar in all formats. Patty Mills FD - $4500 DK - $4500 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 27.23 DK - 30.2 For value, the system still loves Patty Mills who has played 30+ minutes in four straight games and started in each of his last three. The volume has also been on the rise as he has attempted 14 and 13 shots in the last two games and has been red-hot making 59% of them. He doesn't add much in terms of secondary stats nor is this a great matchup but the price is still low enough where a 5x floor is very attainable and still leaves room for upside. Mills is in play in all formats. Shooting Guard Donovan Mitchell FD - $8300 DK - $8500 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 45.45 DK - 48.48 There is a slight chance this game turns into a blowout but it's hard to ignore this spot for Mitchell who is one of the best two-way players in the game. He comes into tonight with the fourth-highest usage(33.7%) in the league and is contributing consistent secondary scoring averaging over rebounds and assists per game with nearly two steals per game, as well.
